Tamu felt an immense urge to go out today and explore. The only problem with that was that he was supposed to stay around his family. He opened his mouth, tasting the air for anything interesting that might have been lurking around.
Nothing.
Nothing but the familiar smells of family surrounded him, and he sunk his head down in dissappointment. He was desperately hoping that something, someone, would be out today and want to play with him.

 Penzi was chafing again. He loved his mother with all his heart, but the fact that she needed to constantly know where he was was grating. He needed alone time. Or at least time without Tuli constantly hovering over him.
He loved his mother, but seriously.
Catching sight of his nephew (he wasn't sure what the term meant, but honestly, the young cheetah was more like his brother than a nephew), he chirped a greeting and bounded up to him.

"Penzi!" Tamu shouted to the other young cheetah, bounding through the gass over to him. "I didn't think you'd be out today. Not the way grandma is...." he smiled, thinking of his very feminine family. He was glad to have another boy in the family, so seeing him was a good surprise.
"We should do something awesome, while you're outside with me!" he didn't want to waste an opportunity to have fun with another boy, not today. With his own impared sister, he usually only played with his other sister or by himself, which tended to prove monotonous after awhile, no matter how much he loved his siblings.

"Tamu!" Penzi answered with just the other cheetah's name, purring and bumping his head against Tamu's in enthusiastic greeting before taking a step back and shaking out his fur good-naturedly. The other cub's comments made him smile and duck his head sheepishly.
"She uh...didn't exactly...give me 'permission', exactly..." he admitted. "But it was too hot in the den!" Chirping again, he twitched his tail dismissively and listened to Tamu talk. So he wanted to do something awesome, huh? Well, Penzi wasn't about to pass up the opportunity to do something awesome.
He just wasn't sure what that something awesome was.
"Like what?" he asked. "We could go exploring, I guess, maybe...or...I dunno." He shook his head slowly. "It doesn't sound like much fun when you put it that way, does it? We need to find something really good."

"So you snuck out, huh?" Resting on his haunches, Tamu let out a laugh, knowing how nice it must be for Penzi to finally get some fresh air away from his mother. Tamu himself never spent too much time with his grandmother because she was so protective. In fact, he found himself wandering away from most of his family for a good majority of his time. "I think it's hot out here, too....." Tamu lifted his gaze towards the sun. He must've meant a different kind of hot, he thought. Maybe more of a smothered feel? Who knows. Tamu tried not to think about why people snuck away, or why they didn't want to be somewhere. It tended to not be a very happy reason.
"I don't really......know." he tilted his head to the side, a wide grin on his face. It had been awhile since he had played with a boy, so he had forgotten what 'awesome' had meant to one. It had to be better than what it meant when he was with Jini, but......it was complicated.
(( I'm really really sorry about how long it took to get back to this. ;3; After the move it's been really hard getting back to my rps, but I'm really trying. ))
