He had suspected the warehouse cats were up to no good, but he had never suspected anything like that.
Quiet, Neptune was always quiet, so he always heard things Remi didn't. he had always noticed what Remi was too busy adventuring to see, and now he had seen something really serious. The warehouse cats were in cahoots with Siam, and even Neptune knew Siam was bad news.
He had been right, and Remi had been wrong, but there would be time for 'I told you so's later. Right now he had to find Remi. Right now they had to get out of there, find a new territory, anywhere! There were no good guys in the warehouse, not that Neptune could see, and Remi's eagerness to have a dry place to hang his violin had got them into a stinking mess.
The only problem with finding Remi thought was that Remi was nowhere to be found. He hardly ever spent time in the territory, preferring to explore and muck about, and lately he had stopped taking his sidekick on most of these excursions. Neptune looked around desperately. If he was Remi, where would he be right now?

Alice was late, Alice was almost always late. She quickly brushed her hair and grabbed Vivian, trying her best to hurry her into her case. Today she was going to meet up with Remi, and she was beyond exited. All the female had been able to do lately was play her cello, her dance muse dead, but even that it had a longing undertone that could be heard, and it was her hope today to be rid it. “I’m coming!” she yelled pulling on her heels and trying to ignore that persistent tapping by the entrance to the koi pond located in the university. Alice pulled the door open quickly and flung the heavy case over her shoulder, smiling up at the male she had almost toppled over. “Ready.”
Valiant pondered how she was going to tell Remi that she had a child… she was looking for him, and was tempted just to give up when she ran into Neptune who looked frantic. The only way to find Remi was not to look, but the second best option would be to be by his sidekick. “Hey Neptune, have you seen Remi running around?” The Manx female did her best to smile like she was genuinely asking, in secret she was hoping that she didn’t find him, and then maybe she could live with herself for running away.

"Right!" Remi said, catching his balance as the cellist nearly knocked him over. "Got Vivian? Made yourself pretty? Then let's go!" Setting off at a jaunty stride, he looked back to make sure Alice was following him. "Where will we play today? S'a great day for a duet in the park, I was thinking, but I've been in the park a lot lately."
Neptune looked wildly at Valiant, taking a moment to register who it was before grabbing her hand and frantically pulling her along with him. "No," he wailed, "And I wish I had!" Eyes darting around the streets for that familiar blonde head. "I have to tell him something, I havent's een him all day. He's been going places alone more and more often, but this time it's important." His tail lashed from side to side anxiously. "And I thought he had been going out to see you all the time, but if that's not the case, where is he? Where is he when I need him?"

Val shook her head sadly, trying her best not to wince at the statement. “I’m… sorry, we haven’t talked since a morning quite a bit ago… when I sort of broke things off…” She thought a bit to herself, pondering why Remi would go off by himself… what if… no, no he wouldn’t, not this soon, but part of her subconscious was saying that Remi never dwelled on anything… or let anything take him from the moment, there very well could be someone that had stolen her first friends heart. “Try the park or something, doesn’t he hang out there a lot?” she mumbled, her sprits broken down to show her unexpected disappointment.
Alice clicked after him in her heels, finding it rather difficult to walk as she usually did, and carry the heavy instrument long distances. She reached out and grabbed Remi’s hand, smiling to him as she did so. “Some people have heels on darling, and shorter legs. Slow down a bit.” The smaller girl let go of his hand and slid hers up his arm, linking hers with his. “A stroll in the park sounds lovely.”

"...Oh." said Neptune embarrassedly, his grip on her hand faltering. He fell silent for a moment, then shook his head, no time to be distracted by Remi's hitherto unmentioned girl problems! There were more pressing issues at hand! "The park, maybe? It's worth a shot." He picked up his stride, almost jogging in the park's direction. In his panic, he was barely even stuttering, and despite the brief distraction Valiant had brought, his headache and the panic grippuing his mind didn't leave much room for awkwardness. He had to find Remi, and if Valiant thought he might be in the park, it was a better lead than he could provide.
Remi grinned sheepishly. "Sorry," he said, slowing down a bit, "I keep forgetting you girly girls have those funny shoes." Catching himself, he added "Not that they aren't nice shoes, of course." He turned his feet towards the park and headed over at a leisurely pace. "I feel pretty rotten, you having to carry that big cello and me getting off easy with Rupert," he remarked, lifting the violin as they approached the plaza. "Not really heroic of me, huh?"

Valiant jogged easily after Neptune, her muscled legs easily catching up with him; if the boy was this nervous something had to be wrong. She closed her eyes, enjoying how the breeze felt in her hair and how the wind whipped around her making her feel free of all responsibility, she found herself tugging him along after a time, easily finding her way with her eyes closed. It was when the impact of something heavy hit her stomach did she open her eyes to look down at a girl, hand slipping from someone else, leaning heavily on her trying to get her balance.
Alice grinned oblivious to the surroundings around her. “I can carry my own weight plus your own; it’s tempting to have you hand over Rupert with that statement.” She stuck out her tongue and face forward head long into a pair of… boobs? The impact ripped her arm from Remi’s and made her topple on her heels, carried forward by the momentum her cello provided. Her eyes widened as hands locked on her shoulders and jerked her away from the imposing bosom. The female looked up into the face of another, oblivious to the boys around her. This wasn’t embarrassing at ALL. At least the girl was pretty, slightly feral looking, but pretty… oh the small blessings of the world.
