Alazne snuggled happily against her father's chest, half-dozing as she watched the world go by, wishing that she'd been able to get to sleep the night before, mostly so that she would be more bouncy this morning, like the rest of the children that were nestled in their father's arms. But, since she hadn't slept, she merely yawned and nuzzled closer to Cat's chest until a colourful sign caught her eye, in the shape of a paint pallette.
She jumped up a bit, grey eyes widening as she glanced up at her dad with a smile on her face, outstretching a hand to point toward the sign. "Paint?"
Cat blinked and looked at the sign, before smiling and looking down at his daughter, adjusting her a bit in his arms. Yeah, you can paint things in there, honey. Do you want to try it? It's fun and... colorful." He smiled sheepishly; words had never been his strong point.
Alazne nodded rapidly and waved her tail around, slipping from her dad's arms and falling to her knees when her feet hit the ground, pulling herself unsteadily to her feet, wobbling toward the door and attempting to push it open, only to pout up at her father, looking for some help.
Cat started when Alazne fell from his arms, but only sighed when she hit the ground fine and smiled at his struggling daughter. Reaching down to pick her up, he pushed open the door with ease, before looking around uncertainly. Having never really been inside one of these before, he had... no idea of his next step.

Noel had come to the paint shoppe a few hours ago to help a friend, the owner of the shop, since his workers decided to take holiday all at the same time. For now, he was at the front door greeting newcomers. "Welcome to the Paint Plot~ Here you can paint anything from Ceramics to Canvases~ We also have a variety of other arts and craft activities as well~" He smiled kindly at the man and his daughter who.. Had a tail. Hmm... "Oh, you have a little one with you~ Would you like to play with my daughter? She's over there, in the fingerpaint section.
Alome was in a corner of the shop that was fenced in by a playpen like barrier, happily smackking a piece of paper with paint covered fingers. She giggled each time she made a hand print, and picked new color after color to add to the 'artwork'.

Alazne toyed with one of the braids her mother had done earlier in the day, the black and white ribbons on them complimenting the similarly-coloured, frilly dress that Trois had wanted her to wear. Of course, the little dream seer didn't really like dresses and the like, but she was fine with wearing them if they made her mother happy. And as soon as she had a chance to wear her own clothes, however, she would be leaving the dresses in a box in the back of her closet.
Cat blinked in mild surprise, having not noticed the very cheery-sounding man when he had first walked in. He smiled widely at the man and nodded. "Um, sure! Thanks for offering." Looking around for a few moments, he selected a small white ceramic plate and placed Alazne gently next to the other girl. He gave her a wide, hopefully reassuring smile. "Okay, you can paint that plate next to this nice little girl, alright Lazzie? And if you want, Daddy's going to be right over there."
With another wide smile, he walked away from the small child's pen and went to stand by the other man, smiling in an unconsciously-charming way. "Wow, your little girl looks like quite the Picasso. How old is she?"
Alazne flicked her tail a bit when she was set down, looking toward the other girl and giving her a small smile, looking between the girl's fingerpainting and the plate that her father had left her with. She blinked slowly and looked over at the child, herself, once again, smiling softly and reaching out one hand, tail waving behind her. "Hello. I'm Al-az-ne. Who's you?"

Noel smiled and thought for a moment... Hm.. "Well, she's 2 and 3/4 years old. Her father's at work right now.." He grinned a bit more.. "Well, I guess, I'm her father too, but.. I'd rather be called mother, you know?" He tucked a strand of his hair behind his ear and turned back to the counter where he was leaning against. "Oh, do you mind filling this out for me? It's just a permission slip saying that your daughter is allowed to play here.
Alome tilted her head a bit confused at the sudden appearance of another child in her pen, but smiled warmly and took the hand, shaking it happily. "I's A-Lome, Nice to meet 'ou." Her left hand was covered with dry paint, so it was a little bit of an awkward handshake, since that was the hand she decided to use. Her gaze then traveled to Alazne's tail, pointing at it. "Oh~ you's has tail! I no has tail, I have wings! See?" She flapped her glittery wings, lifting a little off her stool, then sat back down. "Wanna paint wid me, Al-az-Ne?"

Cat raised his eyebrows in pleasant surprise as the other man described his family. How ironic; more gay. Smiling to himself, he nodded, taking the paper in question and filling it out. "Oh, I can understand that. Technically, my daughter could call either me or my mate 'father', but I suppose I, ah, suit the role a little better." He chuckled quietly and handed the form back, all filled out. "So, do you get a lot of business here?"
"Nice t'meet, too," Alazne replied with a smile, tail wagging a bit as she shook the other girl's hand before letting it fall, picking off the stray scraps of paint that had chipped off of Alome's hand during the handshake. She gasped at the girl's wings and gaped a bit, reaching out to try and touch them. "Gosh, you're lucky A-lome," she stated, bouncing a bit. At the question, she nodded a few times. "MmHmm, dat's what Daddy said I was doin'. I has a plate; see?" she said, picking up the plate and showing Alome, smiling happily.

"Is that so? Well, Nice to that there are other families like my own around." He put the form in the pile with the rest of the paperwork there, and then turned back to the newcommer. "Well, actually, I really don't work here. I'm only helping out a friend, since his workers decided to go on vacation. But I'm pretty sure that they do. After all, little kids are his biggest customers.
"Coolio~" Alome chirpped, spreading her canvas a bit wider so that they could share. "No.. Not really cool, cause there are times when daddy won't let my fwai, says it too.. dangerous.."

Alazne smiled at her plate being called cool and lay it out in front of her, looking from the paint to the plate itself and frowning slightly, tipping her head to the side curiously. Why would you put paint onto a plate? Weren't plates for food, not for... colouring supplies? She shrugged and reached for some yellow, swirling the yellow-paint-covered finger across the white plate, wiggling her tail a bit.
"Aww, rully?" Alazne asked, pouting in response. "Dat's no fun. Daddy gots wingies, too, see?" she noted, pointing toward her Hippogriff Eilian of a father. She giggled cutely. "When Mommy gets rully close to 'im or he gets nervous, he flaps a bunch and then hits his head on the ceilin'!!" she giggled, picking then the purple paint and smearing it across the plate's surface.

Alome giggled as well, painting little hearts all over her canvas. Well, things she called hearts. "He has pweety wings! Daddy has wings, papa has wings too~ But my wings are shiney."
She nodded a bit, adding some green to her picture. "So.. Um.. What it like to have Mommy and daddy? I only got daddy and odder daddy." She didn't seem sad, just genuinely curious~"

Reaching out for some red paint, now tainted with the yellow and purple still on her small, stubby fingers, Alazne tried to mimic the little hearts that Alome had drawn on her canvas. Alazne nodded in surprise and then pouted a little. "You guys is so lucky. I only has a tail, but so does Mommy, but mine's littler and I've got legs, too."
She switched her technique, swirling blue and purple together to make a darker purple, then scribbled some random little shapes on her plate, the few that she actually knew. Alazne glanced over and blinked her big grey eyes at Alome curiously before understanding and giggling a bit. "Acshully, Mommy's kinda like a daddy, too. He's just really girly and wears dresses and stuff, so real Daddy says that he's my mommy," she said, tapping each finger as she made her points, ending up with confused, crossed eyes by the end of it all. She giggled nervously. "It's confusin'."

"Oh!! So Alzane is like Alome!! We both have daddies for daddy and mommy!" She looked over to her dad, pointing with a mess finger to Noel. "Dat my mommy daddy. He no wear dresses, but he really girly. I wub him so much!!"
Her little fingers took Alzane's hand and held onto it for a little bit. "You know~ we fwiends right? You know Darcee and Aron? You come frwom der too! We be good fwiends!!!
