Carter sighed and sat down in a near by chair. The morning had been a bit hectic, Elvis throwing little tantrums all the while because carter had to leave the isle for a day.

" 'arter no GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!" Elvis screamed, throwing one of his plushies square into carter's face. " NO GO! NO GO! 'ARTER NO GOOOO!!!!" He continued, carter sighed and let the floppy rabbit plush rest on his face before he heard the knocking on the door. He would have had missed it, if Elvis hadn't taken a breath to continue his little fit. Carter just had to wonder if all baby faes were this loud, or if Elvis just had a good set of lungs...

With a sigh cater removed the floppy rabbit and walked to open the door. He smiled when he saw Cadassi and gave a sigh of relief. " oh, thank god. He's having a little bit of a tantrum right now..." He explained in embarassment, wincing when another toy hit him in the back of the head. " He doesn't want me to go, but he'll forget all about me with you around, he adores you cadassi. thanks again for helping me out." Carter breathed. He would have liked to take elvis with him, but he was fairly sure pae were not supposed to leave the island.

Carter stepped aside to let Cadassi into his quaint little home. It was a small and cozy home, baby proofed so there were no expensive breakable items or things to bump heads on. The floor was littered with Elvis' toys, obviously carter liked to spoil him a bit.

"'ARTER NO G-" Elvis stopped in mid scream when he saw Cadassi and smiled. " 'ADA!" He peeped happily, getting up and waddling over to his favorite sharky friend. Carter chuckled and smiled.
" See?" Carter said with a smug smile as he watched his little fae go over to Cadassi and reach up, wanting to be carried.

Elvis looked at cadassi and giggled, happily snugging with his baby sitter. He looked over at carter and frowned. " no want 'arter to go. no..." he breathed, and huffed when carter pet his hair and went ahead with explaining what was needed.

"Well, he doesn't seem to be allergic to anything. I usually let him play until 2, then i give him snack, he likes peanut butter and jelly with milk and then he goes for a nap. He usually naps for about an hour and then he likes to go to the beach for a while. after that it's bath time and he goes to sleep, but i don't think i'll be out that long." He said, " Oh! the emergency numbers are on the fridge. my phone is there...that's really the only number that's there..." He said and chuckled a bit in emarassment. He then looked at his watch and frowned. " allright, well i need to go. I'll see you soon elvis ok?" He said, movig to kiss the baby's head and pet his hair. Elvis whined and gave a kissy back, but then pouted and hid his face in cadassi's chest to not see carter go.

Elvis whined and huffed when cadassi tried to make him feel better. Carter only giving a small, slightly saddened smile. Leaving elvis was just as hard for him, It was sort of like what mothers experienced when they sent their babies away to pre-K, a bit of seperation anxiety.

" I'll be back soon." Carter said and made his way out. When Elvis was set down he stared at the door like a puppy, sniffling a bit. His tiny wings drooping sadly as he muttered a soft " 'arter go byebye..."

His sadness quickly disappeared when cadassi asking him if he saw something in his pile of toys and he frowned. " I no see anyting..." He breathed as he waddled his way over to cadassi and the pile, peeking in curiously to see what the other had seen.

Elvis was confused and picked up his floppy bunny. " 'unny?" He asked, a bit lost as to what cadassi wanted. He then began picking up random things. "'ottle? 'anky?" He asked, givinf cadassi his bottle and his blanky.

Elvis gasped, his tiny little mouth becoming a cute, perfect little "o" as he was told that the sparkley had appeared. " 'un 'ada 'un!" He peeped, encouraging cadassi to runs as he wiggled up onto the other's back, hugging the other about the neck.

"is getting away 'ada!" he peeped excitedly, pointing foreward. " I dink i swee it!" he squealed, having forgotten all about missing carter.

Elvis looked around and then pouted. " Mwaybe id went ou-side!" He breathed with excitement, pointing towards the back door. Behind the home was only a short walk to the beach, which elvis loved to go to everyday. Perhaps it was time to take him for a walk there, let him explore a little and lok for the mystery item. He'd be bushed by the time they'd come back and he'd drift to sleep with great ease.

Elvis giggled at the pat and nodded, looking around once they were outside. "'down down!" Elvis peeped, wanting to go down and walk on his own to search around the beach. " me look dat way!" he giggled and smiled, fluttering his tiny little wings.
