luan lightened up a little bit "yeah but you don't have to be heir of slytherin to be jinx someone into doing what you might've done to filch's cat"she opened the stall and looked to see if moaning mertle was there. She was sitting by the window up top

"But what if I did Petrify Mrs. Norris?" Ginny said. Suddenly, Ginny thought of Harry. "What if Harry finds out?" She sank to the ground and actually did begin to cry. She figured that if Harry found out she thinks she opened the Chamber of Secrets and Petrified Mrs. Norris, he wouldn't like her anymore.

luna closed the stall and sat in front of ginny on the floor "Well it's not like you did the worst thing of all.."she leaned in and whispered "opening the chamber of secrets"she sat back up "you know if you did harry'd probably have to save the day and risk getting killed to do it"

"But I might've," Ginny said, still crying. "And, if Harry had to save the day, he'd know it was me and he wouldn't like me anymore, I just know it." She couldn't think of why she had to get involved with that diary anyway, but she wasn't going to tell anyone that it was Riddle who told her to do it in the first place.

"I think I did," Ginny said. "Most of the blood I found all over me was on my hands." She didn't know how to explain it. If she had opened the Chamber of Secrets, she certainly wasn't meaning to.

"I know!" Ginny sobbed into her hands, starting to cry even harder. She thought about what her mother would do if she found out that it was because of her that the school closed down, and she started crying even harder... if that was possible.

luna placed her hands on ginnys knees "it's gonig to be ok ginny. We'll find out who did this to you and take them down. With the help of harry of course. But for now we'd better get out of here"

Ginny somehow calmed herself down enough that she could at least think somewhat clearly... and see out of her eyes without having to constantly wipe them. "Why do we need to get out of here?" Ginny asked, looking up out of her hands.
