This is the place where most ninja will learn Grass Jutsu, for its vast amount of grassland.

Tame was grazing out here, poking his head up on occasions to check if people were nearby or not though he never did see any, he always picked the best times to eat grass. It was sometime deep in the night and the likeness of someone being out at this time of the night was slime to none.
He wouldnt mind if someone stumble upon him sometime but most, he knew, would be shocked by his appearance. He was a centaur after all and though this world was filled with a bunch of strange things, a centuar was a very rare one to be in existence especially one such as him and his kind that had wings as well as being part horse.

He has met the kage and her Sannins before and told the kage that if the village ever needed him that he would come to its aid. Sometimes he ponders on entering the town and letting his kind be known but then that would lead to people looking for them more or trying to tame them like some kind of wild animal.

Requiem of Remorse

PostPosted: Fri Oct 16, 2009 1:19 pm

The man entered a large open field with a dull frown upon his face, he took a seat near a large unmoving boulder and began to write down vast and complex notes on different jutsu he knew. His hand flew across the paper as he wrote with an intense speed and skill. He hadn't a care in the world and his notes were utterly pointless as he had already copied the same notes down trifold back at home, the true reason he was within the village was to learn of this new kage he had been hearing so much about. "Wonder if anyone is even here...."

The sun burned down upon the open grasslands as Zetsumei sat alone, the heat distorted the air around him in an eerie show of shifting air currents. "Well now....This certainly is dull." Zetsumei muttered to himself, his tone laced with boredom and restlessness. "I knew I should have gone elsewhere." With that final statement Zetsumei stood, gathering his things before walking away from the village, taking a secondary route out instead of the typical gate pathway most used.

Yet I have nothing better to do...)

Kane felt that he had gotten close enough to his home village, it was time now to train. Kane, took his backpack off of his shoulders and set it down on the ground so that he could find the scroll that Blade had given him. After rummaging through the pack for a moment he found it. He picked it up and then turned around with his back resting on his backpack. He unraveled the scroll and began to read.
PostPosted: Mon Oct 19, 2009 5:45 pm

After studying the scroll for several minutes Kane felt that he was ready to begin. He got up and drew his katana, Boruto, placing his middle and index finger on the habaki. He breathed deeply, focusing his chakra into his two fingers. He slid his fingers down the length of the blade while he tried to transfer his chakra onto the blade to make a transparent coat of chakra. After sliding his fingers all the way down the length of the blade and then roughly one foot past the tip Kane held it away from his face to see his handiwork.

There was no visible sign that he had done anything so he did the only this he could think of to test it. He brought the hilt of Boruto level with his eyes, the blade pointing behind him, and then swung it in a wide arc in front of him. The grass around him fell to the ground in a pile, but something seemed wrong. He brought the blade back into position, and this time slowly moved the blade in the same way he had before so that he could see more clearly.

Damn, it was just as he had thought, the chakra had dissipated to quickly, he hadn't been able to maintain the chakra edge for the entire swing. The distance from the tip of his sword to the edge of the cut grass had decreased from the beginning of his attack to the end, making it look more like a half oval than the half circle the swing should have made. And instead of being about a foot from the blade, the edge of the grass stopped right where his swing ended. The Chakra Edge had kept neither its length nor its width.

Kane sighed and sat back down, crossing his legs and setting Boruto on his knees. He held up his middle and index finger once more and focused chakra into them. The problem wasn't my preperation, it was my concentration, he thought to himself. He grabbed Boruto by the hilt once more and ran his two fingers slowly down the length of the blade. Perhaps this will help things along, he thought to himself as he closed his eyes and focused. A moment later he snapped his eyes open, revealing the Sharingan.

He looked at the blade and could vaguely see his own crimson chakra coating it, but instead of one stable coat it was splotchy. The chakra wasn't spreading evenly along the blade, and in some spots the chakra wasn't coating it at all. He stopped his concentration and released the chakra coating. He took a deep breath concentrating with his whole mind as he ran his fingers down the length of the blade, moving them slowly and deliberately making sure to form an even coat.

After he had completed the chakra edge he simply stood there and concentrated on maintaining his focus and keeping the coat smooth and even. After about fifteen minutes he walked under the closest tree and found a branch that would normally have been just out of the reach of his sword. While maintaining his concentration on the Chakra Edge, Kane pulled back his katana and then as quickly as he could he sliced at the branch.

After the blade had cleared the branch Kane looked up at it to see if it had worked. To his disappointment he saw that the branch did not even appear scratched, he started walking back toward his backpack, maybe I didn't understand something, I'll just have to take another look at the scroll, he thought to himself. He looked down at Boruto as he got closer to his back pack, and was surprised to see the coat of crimson chakra still running down the length of the blade, and about a foot past the tip. "But...", Kane began to say as he looked at his blade in confusion, but then he heard a crash behind him and turned around, sword at the ready.

As he turned around his eyes quickly searched the area for an enemy, but saw no one, then looking toward the tree he saw what had made the noise. The branch he had cut. Kane's expression quickly turned from one of confusion to one of pride as he realized that he had succeeded. He released the Chakra Edge and then sheathed his sword as he picked up his backpack and started heading towards home. He had done what Blade had told him, and he could tell that soon his training would pay off and he would be able to enter the Chunnin exams without fear.

Rei laid down against Shige and watched the people in the field a she ate her tacos and sipped on her coffee. She was feeling so much better. She finished up her food and loked at Shige- "I need to run." She asked Shige to lay down so she could mount easier, she still didn't have all their strength back. He stood and they started flying across the field.

Woke up in the field, his head pounding like crazy. He was face down in the dirt after another long night of drinking, God knows how he made it out here. He lifted his head from the dust to see his bottle of lager being sipped by a rabbit. His bones ached as he picked himself up and gave the bunny a swig before taking the gord and shooing the rodent away.

Rubbing his eyes as he made his way back to the village, his father was going to beat him.... rabbits? What a waste of beer...

He ran through the feild at a brisk pace, felt good to run with a bit extra resistance. He passed the spot at which he woke this morning, chuckling to himself. He focused his chakra into his feet and steadied the flow. He rose about two inchs every few steps, he thought it prudent to try running on matted grass(working on control). The feild fell away as he ran back towards town, the extra weight began to slow him down a bit.

Rei sighed and asked Shige to slow down, he came to a walk barely panting and he let his head hang down to relax. Rei started talking to Shige, "I really like it here... what do you think?" Shige groaned and let out a sigh. Rei laughed and spoke, "O.K., to the Kage's office. Time to tell him my name, and to ask his again... woops."

LT walked throught the grass fields and bent down to pick up some tea leave, or actually leaves that might possibly be used for tea.

Sev's clone ran into the field. "I'm here, just waiting for Zane now..." He said, stretching his arms.
