Overlooking the center of the village is the Otokage's office. Situated directly across the village from the gates, The Otokage can view almost the entire village by means of the large glass window across form his desk. His viewing window takes up one wall, waist level to the lofty ceiling. Across both side walls span bookshelves and scroll cases, other than an open area where the door is. The center of the room is occupied with a long desk with a large chair behind it, where the Otokage sits. You may come here for missions and to give reports.

Shadow arrived at his office and knocked on the door waiting for a response.

Obito walks into the Otokage's office, passing the knocking Shadow on the way, after 2 months of no missions he thought that by now something might have come up.
"Hay old man anything new going on?"
Obito said, after a while he still was not very respectful of the otokage however he still feared him enough not to go to far with his jokes

Obito glanced at shadow
"Hey, i just need some action, staying still for to long dulls the skills"
Obito said and turned his attention back to the otokage waiting for an answer

A few moment's later the door creaked open, the Otokage in full Kage regalia sat at his desk with a high backed chair. His cruel eyes watched them- not even regarding Obito's comment.
"I wassss wondering when you two would come... I have a very fitting misssssion for you two..." He hissed from behind the large oak desk. The space between them seemed forbidden, almost unholy in nature. Nothing tangible marked it but it was just a feeling that seemed to bring it.

"We're going to sssstart a war..." He mused coldly and let it hang for a moment.
"The war has already sssstarted, though the two ssssides hardly compare. One is the Uzssssumaki Alliance and the other is known as "Amenonuboko". However... thissss war will have only one winner... me..." He decided, giving due explanation in his raspy voice.
"What they both ssssseek... or will eventually both sssseek.... is an artifact known as the Sssspear of Heaven. I have come by information that will allow us to control it, for a time. In the end we will be the one who decidessssss the victor of thisssss war by ssssselling it to whoever makes us the better offer. In this way... we asssssure the sssside that favorssss us will win... do you undersssstand?" The Otokage told them condescendingly- this tone sheathed in ice.

"We are not foolisssssh enough to sssstick our own necksssss out Sssssshadow. That isssss how it will get chopped off... we will join whoever we deem the mossssst beneficial to usss...." He hissed violently at Shadow though the boy was catching on. He liked that, sharp tools were more useful than dull ones. However... it if grew to sharp it might cut him.
"You are both... to attempt to retrieve the sssspear by any meansss nessss-essssary... the one who bringssss it back and hands it to me perssssonally will have completed the misssssion... the one who doesssn't... will fail." He said, ending his sentence rather abruptly.
He lifted two packs onto the table. Inside of them was a map to a location in the Stone Country as well as a syringe. Several small capsules no bigger than a large pill with the Sound Village logo on it sat in a medicine box.
"If... you sssstart to feel the effeccctsss of the sssseal... inject yourssself with thisss. It will only sssssustain you for a sssshort while... but you mussst be quick about thisss... no one mussst know about our planssss... no one..."

'So you want us to retrieve the spear of heaven and bring it to you without anybody knowing what we're doing, correct' shadow said as he went to his desk and took the pack. 'Is that all we have to do.'
