Wide oak doors and granite steps lead one into a marble-floored lobby decorated with posters and signs. A rug is provided for patrons to dry their feet on. Nearby an easily visible sign reads "Please close the door behind you, thank you". Stepping in further and looking around it becomes clear that the inside of the building is quite vast, much more than the building appeared to be from the outside. Wooden shelves tower upwards toward the ceiling, each shelf crammed full of books on every subject imaginable. Everything is pristine and clearly kept in good condition for there isn't so much as a speck of dust on the tables casually dotted around for patrons to study at. Here and there a comfortable chair can be found.

On the immediate right of the entrance is a series of ornate wooden desks, behind which a librarian or two can usually be found. Contrary to appearance the entire building is computerized. There are no files kept on paper here. From these computers a librarian can control many of the important security functions, though not all. The large shelves for example can be dropped into the marble floor to protect from fire or attack or simply to make room for formal functions. On the left of the entrance is a seating area for many people and several machines to provide the public food and drink. The entire library seems designed for comfort and ease of use.

The shelves are dropped to into the marble floor, bookshelves fade into the same destination and book slowly disappear. The fire system has been activated for one of those formal events much talked about.

Many tables were brought inside. Round ones, long ones, big ones, small ones some as big as your head. No, just round and long ones. Strategically placed far away from the center on the room, leaving a wide open space. Each table has been covered with a white linen cover. And they are left empty.....until the food is brought to each one. Scrumptious, delicious and yummy delicacies brought from around the world. Orange duck flambé, roast turkey, lasagna, roast garlic crab, garlic bread, plain bread, honey topped bread, sweet bread, barbecue ribs, shrimp/crab puffs, spaghetti, lobster rolls, cheese sticks, pizza, macaroni, dip, nachos and....bacon double cheeseburgers. Vegetarian? No worries! We have your poor plant-only fresh out of the garden heaven too. Edible eats that would make your stomach jump up and down in happiness!

Ahh, but let us not forget the desserts as well. In which includes brownies, tarte, pies, donuts, ice cream, panini, tortilla wraps, fruits, poached pears with dessert wine, chocolate lasagna, pineapple haupia, coffee anglaise. Never ending twists, twirls and spins for your tastes buds. And for the beverage section we have bartenders at the ready, prepared to make you what they can get their hands on.

As you come into the Library, you'll see that is it absolutely in the least, poorly decorated. To the sides, white, silk linen robes hug the walls, winds making them dance to your entertainment. These create the illusions as if there was something making the linen dance from behind. The floor is covered with an Indian pearl carpet, beautifully matching the crystal chandeliers above that dim the room into the perfect shade, not damaging the eyes of those who may be sensitive to the light.

At the entrance, there is security asking for the invitation sent to each member. Staged at strategical points of the entire floor, security makes sure that for the end of tonight, all is fun and games. Without trouble. And of course, they also wear tasteful tuxedos. But why is all this being done and happening, you ask? It is simple, really.
