Bahari'nswi was feeling unusually happy today. He had recently met a wonderful God named Limbuko, and he couldn't stop thinking about what a pleasurable meeting they had had. They were two of it kind, and the God of Fish had really enjoyed being with someone that was very much like himself. It was almost like having a twin brother, or at least that's what he assumed. He wasn't sure if twin brothers would feel quite as strongly towards one another as him and Limbuko did.

With a soft smile on his face, Bahari'nswi walked slowly down the beach. The sun was slowly setting on the horizon, and he had decided to spend the night on land tonight, so he was looking for a suitable spot.

The Goddess of Rain was unusually happy too. She wasn't the sad or easily angered sort, in fact she was patient, and kind; but she was usually confused by a torrent of strong emotions that flooded her daily. She was hard work sometimes. But the recent influx of social activity into the lionesses brain made for a lighter more pleasent mood.

She strolled across the savannah gracefully, her curly paws testing the water as she played with one of her more simple and easily controlled powers. Tiptoeing across the ground, puddles pooled from her paws, splashing lightly around her legs. Her blue eyes widened as she noticed a shape that looked a little familiar, a large blue and grey shape that seemed to glimmer and radiate some kind of intruiging light. She found herself drawing nearer and nearer to the large form, until she recognised the lion, and indeed god before her, and gasped his name happily. "Bahari!"

Bahari'nswi was too busy looking out over the sea as he walked to notice the approaching Goddess. It was only when she called out to him that his coral-pink eyes blinked away from the sea and looked up ahead. His smile widened as he immediatly recognised the pretty female just up ahead. "Nyesha."

When he reached her, he bowed his head in greeting, causing his curly mane to fall around his face. When he lifted his head, he raised a paw in order to sweep it breifly through his mane, before giving the Goddess his full attention. "How have you been?" The Goddess looked as beautiful as ever, and he was sure that he looked better than the first time they met. He had been a bit flustered then, as they had met on a very hot day. Since the sun was setting now, he felt nice and cool, and was as eager as ever to impress.

Nye smiled. She didn't think that she'd encounter Bahari again after such a short time. She supposed that as the lands were full of many more creatures, she wouldn't often encounter the same one twice unless she sought them out. She found herself, however, being very glad that she did find the god. He was very proud, very confident, but he did not intimidate her, infact he made her feel comfortable, as he was rather flattering too. He was by far, one of the most interesting characters she had met.
She bowed her head as he did and looked up to him eagerly, her blue-gray body moving gracefully towards him. "I have been well, yourself?" Her voice sounded almost crystalline, like the tinking of a windchime.

Bahari'nswi smiled warmly, pleased that the Goddess appeared to be as happy to see him as he was to see her. After making friends with Limbuko, the God of Fish was eager to offer his services as a best friend to others that he liked, as it seemed to go down very well each time he had said it.

"We have been well also. Thanks for asking." Once the formalities were out of the way, Bahari flopped gracefully into a sitting position. He allowed his wing spines to fold towards his back, and his tail to curl around his legs. He hoped to spend a good amount of time with Nyesha, so he may as well be comfortable.

She admired his body for a moment as if it actually were the ocean, the colours were so beautiful, and so were the spines of his handsomely unusual wings. Beautiful structures protruding from the vast sea. She blushed under her blue fur as she realised exactly what she was admiring, and turned away for a moment. Nye giggled, she had nearly forgot Baharis signature trait of speaking using the royal "we", so it came as a shock to hear it again, but once it sank it, it was warm and familiar.

Nyesha watched the God sit down, but remained standing. She couldn't help but feel excited knowing his domain, and she still had so much that she wanted to learn, and wanted to see. Maybe one day he could show her the ocean, and the fish! She had to contain her exictement and force herself down on the earth to face him. "What have you been up to, then?" Maybe he had been on adventures with fish! Maybe he had been admiring his domain, as she admired hers.

Much like Nyesha was admiring him, he was admiring her. Her wings were utterly unique, unlike anything he had ever seen on any other God. If he weren't so full of himself, he most likely would've admitted that her wings were even nicer than his. Deep down it was probably true, but no, he would never admit that. Her coat was the most lovely shade of blue as well. Truely, she was as perfect as Goddesses could get.

Bahari'nswi tilted his head, curious as to what Nyesha was giggling about. He quickly shrugged it off though, as the next topic of conversation was something he greatly enjoyed. "We made a new friend whilst checking up on some of Our fresh-water creations. His name is Limbuko, the God of Pleasure. Do you know him?"
PostPosted: Tue Aug 11, 2009 11:26 am

So he was with fish then! Sometimes Nyesha wondered what it would be like to have a domain that was closely linked to other living things, but she knew that with the good came the bad. Did Bahari feel it when fish were injured, or dying? She didn't suppose she would bring that up in conversation.

"Oh, No, I haven't met Limbuko." She pronounced his name carefully. God of Pleasure. She supposed it was logical that him and Bahari got on so well, after all, the God of Fish did seem to enjoy alot of life. "To tell you the truth, I haven't met many Gods" She admitted. Even though this was true, Nyesha'Densi knew that even if she had met one hundred gods, Bahari would still be one of the most interesting. "How are your er. f-freshwater creations doing then?" She didn't even know what the word "freshwater" meant, but was trying very hard not to offend the god. There was alot she had to learn.

"You would like him, We think. He's very much like Us." Bahari'nswi continued to talk in his matter-of-fact tone of voice. He was sure that Nyesha liked him, and therefore she would like Limbuko, simple as that. When he thought about it, he hadn't met many Gods either. Not in this lifetime anyway. He could never recall his previous lifetimes whenever he was reborn, so he could never say exactly how many Gods he had met.

When the topic of conversation turned to his Domain, his smile couldn't help but grow. "They are doing fine. Well, most of them." He shook his head heavily at this point, and his smile faded a little. "Our creations are preyed upon by a lot of other creatures. Obviously We would help them if We were there, but We can only be in one place at one time. Very unfortunate."

She tilted her head to the side, as she did sometimes, with that lovable cub-like wonder that kept her looking so young in her mannerisms. "Perhaps I would." Nye imagined Limbuko to be a fancy man, handsome, with a beautiful pelt perhaps and a Domain worth shouting about. Her mind wandered back to Bahari however as he continued talking.

"Unfortunately, that is the Circle of Life." She looked at him, curiously. She had so many questions to ask, so much she wanted to find out, but would she seem intruding or childish to bother him with questions? The Goddess guessed that Bahari would be more than happy to answer questions, as he was so proud of his Domain, so she simply continued. "There's so much I'd like to know about fish." She admitted, blushing under her fur. "What are they like? Can you tell me about some of your favourites?"

"The Circle of Life is no fun." He replied somewhat childishly. "However, We came to accept it many years ago, so it no longer vexes Us as much as it used to." Bahari'nswi had simply been forced to get used to the fact that most of his creations were good enough to eat. That didn't mean he had to like it. But then, what could he do?

He grinned as he thought about his most brilliant and most favoured creation. "Our sharks are Our pride and joy. Some of them are more fierce than any creature you would find on land." A thoughtful expression breifly crossed his face as he considered the fiercest of land creatures. "We truely cannot think of anything that compares to Our wonderful sharks. They are every bit as fantastic as We are." Again, the word modesty meant nothing to this God.

"The Circle of Life, it can't be broken.." She had heard someone recite these words once, a wise Pridelander, perhaps when she was a cub, as the memory seemed blurred and distant.

As she listened to Bahari speak, Nyeshas eyes widened in that childlike fear she captured so well. "Sharks.." She had to admit, despite how scary they sounded, they also sounded rather well, fascinating! "Yes, you do seem rather fantastic." She wasn't sure why, but she felt her face flush under her blue fur as she said so. "Bahari, you have to show me your creations some day, I cannot wait!" The exictable look that flickered in her eyes lingered about the varying shades of blue, seeming to light them up extraordinarily.

"Indeed. So really, it would be foolish for Us to dwell on it too much." As Nyesha began to get excited, Bahari'nswi's smile soon returned. She seemed like such a delicate creature, so it was nice to see her get a little giddy.

Still smiling, he turned to look at the sea. The sun had almost set now, and so he doubted that any of his creations would be too close to the shore. That was something he had always warned them against anyways. Turning back to Nyesha, he nodded. "Last time we met, you gave Us a wonderful sample of your Domain. It would only be fair for Us to do the same."

"Not foolish, just perhaps unnecessary." She didn't like using negative language, and she didn't like when others used it either, even if it was in regards to themselves. She followed his gaze as it turned to the sea, and spent a moment looking into the velvet blue. It had a decepitve appearence, it didn't look cold, or wet. It certainly looked vast, but not miles and miles deep. It didn't look like a friendly home to thousands and thousands of creatures. That what was intruiged Nye so. It seemed to be a world of its own, a world she knew little about. Her attention snapped back to Bahari as he turned back, and she smiled. "Thankyou.." The lioness didn't really know what else to say, her mind still picturing the strange underwater land she had envisioned a few times before.

Bahari'nswi had a thoughtful look on his face as he pondered how Nyesha would react to being underwater. Since her domain was related to his, albeit slightly, he believed that she would cope just fine. Still, it was aleays better to be safe than sorry.

It was dark now, and the moon bathed the pair in a soft white glow. The God's fur shimmered in the moonlight, turning all the colours of the rainbow in places, like a prism. "You won't see much in the dark." He said finally. "So perhaps you could meet Us here tomorrow? Unless..."

The large God lowered himself into a lying down position. This was where he had been planning to sleep tonight. Once he was comfortable, he patted the space beside him, and looked at Nye carefully. "We would love to learn more about you and your Domain Nyesha. If you aren't too tired, perhaps you could spend the night with Us?" He blinked, attempting to reassure himself that what he had said was perfectly normal. After all, he genuinely did only want to talk.
