So my twelve year old sister wants to start wearing make up regularly, but im not too sure about it,
When did you start wearing make up regularly ? I kind of just eased into it, bit by bit.

I started somewhere around my 13th birthday.. Kinda eased into it. I dont think 12 is too young, but it really depends on what make up she's wearing.

I was about 14 when I started but really did not wear it much till I was 15 =] 12 might be a little young--but that just depends what she wears. I wouldn't let her wear eyeliner yet for sure.

I never started wearing makeup, I'm all natural all the time. x]
But I think the right age would be between 13 and 15. Just as long as you don't go overboard with it. 8D

I'm 13 and I wear it regularly. I'm kinda used to make-up, though, because I've been a dancer since I was four.
My cousins' nine-year-old neighbore wears make-up, so twelve isn't too young. Just tell her not to go over-board.

I was 14 and a half. Black mascara, black eyeliner, and pink eyeshadow. Now I am 15 and a half. Black/brown mascara, brown eyeliner, natural color tone eyeshadow, foundation, and concealer.

Every day? 13. But I wore it randomly when I was 12. I only wore eye liner and mascara and eye shadow. I dropped the eye shadow when I was 14, and added foundation when I was fifteen. (Now 16)

I started wearing eyeshadow when I was 12, but I didn't wear eyeliner until I was 14. Foundation I rarely wear, and I'm allergic to most mascaras.

I can tell that your sister wants to wear a lot. She still has very youthful skin and if she applies too much make-up at a tender age like twelve, that will actually affect her skin (in a bad way). I didn't wear much make-up when I was twelve (only to special occasions) but I still looked very cute.
Tell her to ease it a bit. A little bit of eye shadow, a teensy bit of mascara may be fine, but make sure she avoids putting on a huge slap. Oh, and tell her to avoid the foundation. Foundation is very unnessecary, since it's very likely that she has a good complexion at a young age.

I was 14, I started out with just eyeliner and when I got older around 15 I start to wear more, like shadows and foundations things like that.

Lol, I was like, fifteen or sixteen or so. I was always too lazy to get up early to put on makeup, but now I'm so good at it that it doesn't take me that long to do.
I think it's alright as long as it's fairly innocent, as long as she doesn't put on so much makeup that she looks like a tramp :/ Like, I don't think she needs to be all into the foundation and eyeliner and mascara and everything, but maybe a little eyeshadow would be okay? Why does she want to start wearing makeup? She should run around like a little kid for as long as she can, rather than trying to grow up so fast.
