Ears flicked back and forth alertly, and ruffled tail twitched every few moments. Hm, was there nothing to chase now? No food to hunt, nor any siblings to dart after just for fun. All in all, this evening was a boring hour. Heaving a sigh, the lion quirked a brow as he looked to the cloudy sky. If anything, he was at least happy that the weather was cooler than the paste few days. Still warm, yes, but not nearly as hot. Sighing again, Li'a decided there was nothing to see here, and he made to stand. A stretch of his legs and he was already debating what else to do with his time before it got dark. Maybe a view from that tree up ahead would give a better view? "That's it." Smirking, the male began his trot over to the sturdy plant.

Nuia sprinted happily through a land she had never seen before, she was content with the cooling weather and making the best of it by challenging herself to make it to even more unseen areas.
Humming a tune her mother taught her to control breathing while running, "mmmmm.." she exhaled and slowed her pace. Was that a cub? She watched the dark form with a bright blue mane.
"H-hello?"

Li'a spun on his heels before he had reached the tree, his tail flung to the air alertly. He didn't recognize that voice, and when his eyes spotted the speaker he didn't recognize the fur either. Oh but wait!
"Hey there...you're a cheetah! Cool!" The young lion wagged his tail politely despite his curiosity over the new stranger. Her neon stripe made her look like a kin of the pride, and Li'a couldn't help but grin. "Heh, nice to see some more bright stripes around here." Then he shook his head while quirking a brow. "Didja come here to meet someone? I won't mind showing ya around till you meet them. Oooor maybe you're just passing through?"

"Cheetahs are way cool," she laughed and approached him slowly so she would not seem like a threat, although he did not appear to be phased in the least by a stranger entering lands near him.
"Have to have bright colors," she laughed again a sweet melodic sound, "I am Nuia, and I think your markings are very interesting, little one."
"Nope, not looking for anyone, just looking around," she wrinkled her nose, "Shouldn't you be afraid of strangers? I was at your age. Are you in a very big pride that can protect you?"

The lion grinned as he tilted his head. Her slow approach was welcomed as he saw no real intention of harm in her face or eyes. While she moved, the young boy glanced over her unique form. How odd, all the different felines there were in the lands. Like the cheetah before him, slimmer than a girl lion and without the normal tuft on the tail. No wonder they were so fast!
"Yep yep, can't be boring with only one color now." He nodded proudly, glad to have a few colors of his own. It didn't help with hunting, no, but it was something to look at! "Well thank you, and a nice marking and name for you also! My name's Li'annam. But you can just say Li'a too." The lion nodded before he swished his tail with a smile. "Oh, no real need to be afraid here. This pride enjoys peace above all else, so if you made it this far passed the border guards, I'm sure you're good company." It might not be a huge pride, but there was definitely enough lions around to watch everyone's back.
