I finished the book and loved it, and I wanted to see what other people thought concerning the religious themes in it.

The end was kinda creepy... eek
I found the book funny, just because I could relate to him and his multiple religious things so well.

Yes! I LOVE that book. I'm so happy that we just bought it. I love it when the church leaders meet.

A Murder of Angels What's it about? Don't give away the end though... I'm interested in reading it.
Pretty much this kid who's going through a religious identity crisis, he has prayer beads, a cross, a shiva statue..or something like that. The point is..he has a buncha items from different religions and he's just exploring them and fascinated by them all basically.
Well, him and his family decide to move to America or somewhere..and the boat sinks, so he gets on this boat with these animals, an ox, a pig, a tiger, a monkey, and something else. Its pretty much about his survival with him and the animals.
