Nkosana had taken leave of his time with a lovely young mare who seemed promising to the start of his herd. He was really hoping to have a few nice mares with varying personalities and also appearance that would befit future offspring. The last mare had a nice background that would add some pizzaz and she had a firey nature.

As he soared over the tops of the trees with his possible new mare hidden in a grove from other stallions, Nkosana searched the forested area for any other mares who may be in the vicinity. He would have missed her if she wasn't moving. He spotted a natural and lovely mare under the canopy of the trees and circled back to land not far in front of her but hoping to not spook her. With wings flapping he lowered himself carefully through the trees, his back hooves finding purchase on the leaf littered ground with a crunch.

As he stood upon the ground and folded his wings in close he raised his head towards the mare and made a soft bugle greeting to her.

"Good morning!" he called to her. "Your presences is a treasure indeed. My name is Nkosana. May I request yours?"

He gave her a bow, his wings extending a bit to create more of a elegant flare. "A lovely name it is. And I believe your right. Though I do find greeting a random kirin to a poliet gesture. I love to meet others. But indeed I'm a new bachelor in search of my own herd." Nkosana felt it best to get his purpose out there first hand. Lies and dodging truth isn't the way to start any type of relationship be it friend or not. His blue eyes appraised her very presence and he smiled.

Nkosana listened to her and tilted his head slightly. "Ah well, I was born into a herd...once upon a time," he laughed lightly "but then of course I had to leave...now I'm searching for a herd of my own. Would you care to join me? If I may be so bold to ask that of you." He folded up his wings close to his side and stepped closer to her.

"How wonderful! There is one other mare who has also joined so when I must be away you'll have a friend I hope. Anyway...I must here more about you." He gave her a bright smile and then nodded in the direction he was going.
