Goals

99 Firemaking-Banked, but I will not be attempting/completing this for a while.

Other than that, I am just raising whatever skill I feel like raising. Not many major goals come to mind.

99's

Here, I will post my 99's, and briefly explain how I got them.

Magic, my first 99.

99 Magic

99 Magic Scroll

I have gotten with a mixed method. First, let me start with, I started my goal of 99 Magic, with a Magic level of 74. This goal was set December 24th, 2008. At first, I thought I was going to do like my other previous goals, of throwing them out. But after I got 80, I started to get enthusiastic. As I reached 90, I was eager to get 99, but lost all motivation for it. After hitting 94, I decided to put my goal on hold. It was too much, and I have a lot of things keeping me from doing it. Also, with the few hours I could of gone on Runescape those weeks, I wanted to do something I enjoyed like Mining, or Woodcutting. I sold all my Nature Runes at the time, and my Iron ore, which I superheated with. I decided to quit the goal. After I spent all my money on all the God armors, day passed. I kept opening my skills menu up and kept seeing, 94/94 Magic. It was tempting, but not tempting enough. I started Magic again after I sold my God armor. Hey, at least those weeks of cutting yews got me 2 Woodcutting levels and 900k or so. I bought my Magic stuff back and kept working on my goal to 99 Magic, I also worked on my goal of 80 Smithing. Soon after I've worked so far, I hit 99, I achieved my goal on the 3rd of July, 2009.

Method- My method was the following...

74-94 Superheating Iron bars. Lost an average of 100GP per superheat. (All supplies bought)

94-96 High level alchemy. I alched green d'hide bodies, Rune Dagger, Adamant Platebodies, and Rune Squares.

96-97 Superheating. I did this the same way from 74-94, Iron ore. I swapped for two reasons.

1. Not to get bored
and
2. I was going to hit 80 Smithing.

97-99 I used the spell High alchemy on the same items I used before.

Approximate Cost: 32Mill

For my 2nd 99, I got Cooking,

Cooking was extremely easy to me, and no challenge what so ever. So, why did I get it?/

Well, that's simple. To get it out of the way.

99 Cooking

99 Cooking Scroll

Basically, I cooked lobsters from 80-84
84-85 I cooked Swordies
85-86 Lobsters
86-95 Swordfish
95-99 Shark

I did most of it in non-members. But 95-99 I switched to members.

Approximate Cost: 8Mill

From now on, I will post regular levels, and tell a story or two while I was getting them, or how I got them.

80 Ranged.

Let me start off with, this level was a big pain. I had 3 Days left of Members, and I said, well, why not get 80 Ranged? I mean, I am already 78. It wont be too hard. Well yes, I was right, no it wasn't hard, but expensive, yes, yes it was.

My method was Red Chinchompas. I used about 2,000 of them to get 80, which cost me 1,724,000 GP. Those got me 79 with an estimate of 75,000 experience of 80. From there, I've done Yaks. Which cost me a good 200k, since I bought Black knifes.

Level Achieved, August the 3rd of 2009.

[ninja-steals the ornate styling back]

>.> You couldn't use one of the other styles? Document, Whisper? Shout?

-grumblegrumble- I guess I don't own the style so much as make it look good.

And... Runescapades? -twitches at the horrible smooshed word-

I'd suggest raising your size one level to 10 instead of 9 as well - it's a teeny bit difficult to read as is.

Good luck on your goals and I look forward to reading more.

Thanks Death, but no I didn't steal it, I had Ren's permission.

Oh, Ren ;P. Actually I like Ornate the best, I tried all of them, and ended up deleting posts. Thanks for checking it though. Yes, I have to change the title, I didn't want to take your title or anything and smash it into one word; I was planning for escapades since I speak French, it would of been cool ;P. I guess I'll think of something eventually. Thanks for reading ^_^. Oh, and I can't really make it size 10, I don't have an option.

This level I got a while ago, but I'd thought I'd post it since it's one of those important levels to me.

80 Smithing

I got this level by purely Superheating Iron Ore. It is very slow experience but wastes very little money. Thanks Death for coming.

80 Smithing achieved on, Unknown date.

When you post and select the "small" size, the size tag "size=9", just change the 9 to 10. That's all you need to do King.

Hehe, I think I will use one of those in the future. Oh, really ;P? I sort of enjoy smooshed words sometimes.

Oh, I haven't gotten the chance to post this. But I have achieved 60 Runecrafting recently. I know it's not very high, but it will do, for now at least.
