Kasen walked into the area wearing a strange hood that was connected to a small opening giving it the appearance of a cape and hood. He stood in the center of the area with his hands and legs bandaged a bit from his last encounter, but this time it was truly the time to test Zaine to his limits. Kasen stood there waiting for Zaine as he closed his eyes and waited.

Zaine entered the area and saw Kasen wearing the strange clothes, "Hey whats up?" Zaine asked as he came to a stop next to him. "Where is my teacher for shikai?"

Kasen took off the hood and looked at Zaine and grinned at him. "Why, your trainer is right here." Kasen said turning around to face him ,"I'll be the one who will teach shikai to you, who knew so soon after our last encounter." Kasen jumped back to give distance between the two as he moved his cape to reveal the hilt of his zanpakuto, however he showed no sign of unsheathing it yet. "Your offense first Zaine, however the rules are different here..." Kasen said looked at Zaine, waiting for his first strike, however the fight was truly different then last time.

Zaine chuckled, "Are you sure you want this, I mean I did a number on ya last time." he joked, unstrapping his zanpakutoh and taking it in his hand, "I hate first attack but you are the teacher." Zaine said with a groan and decided to start off with the Tooboe Reikon attack, the reiatsu needles flew at Kasen while Zaine began to run to the shinigami's right, attempting to make him chose what to defend against.

Kasen looked at Zaine and his needles fly as he unsheathed his blade, however he did not wield his blade, but his sheath for defensive purposes. He slashed at the needles as he jumped back so he would meet Zaine's attack by the tip of his blade. "I want to do this, and I have to..." Kasen said as it was his duty to make sure Zaine get his training and exceed to limit until he met his zanpakuto's spirit. Kasen slashed with his sheath at Zaine's blade as he waited for the next strike.

Zaine had fully expected the needles to prove usless, thus expecting some retaliation from Kasen. "Don't be so gloomy Kasen, this should be a fun time neh?" he said as he allowed Kasen's blade to push his own down, using the momentum to quickly bringing the bottom blade up to slash at Kasen's chest.

((Ok, so I don't mean to intervein or anything but just a suggestion. When I was taught shikai, I just let the instructor, in this case Kasen, knock me out so that I could go through the spiritual part and get my shikai faster))

((No. You have to go to your spirit world and your spirit basically sets a task for you to complete. IE, beating them in a match or something. You first need to be pushed to your physical limitations. So if you let Kasen beat you to a pulp, you'll get to your spirit world quicker.))

((I'll just fight him till he wants to go to his zanpakuto's spiritual world, thanks for suggestion, but if he wants to fight for his shikai, then let him.))
Kasen shunpo backwards thanks to his odd ability to run backwards sometimes. Kasen however only took a small step back leaving only a small distance between the two people.
"Zaine, as much as I want this fight to be fun, I'm not going to. I have to be serious, and you have to be knocked out or until you finally lose life, and in order to do that, I must be serious." Kasen said in a serious tone that was unusual to people who knew Kasen. He was never serious had only used that tone twice in his life.
Kasen replaced the sheath in his hand with his zanpakuto and he waved it creating a flaming arrow that Kasen learned from his zanpakuto spirit, however it was limited to only a single arrow due to it not being a shikai ability, but a replication of it. "Kasen - Fire Arrow!" The technique that Sasori named after her owner was created in his hand and he held it there unaffected by its burning effects. He placed it at the edge of his hilt and thrusted the blade down firing the arrow at high speed.

(I really dont care how it happens lol)
Zaine smiled, "Kasen I know these things, I am not that naive I know people die during this and I understand the chance very well." he replied, he had retreated back as Kasen did and saw the arrow being fired, he instinctavly brought the cutting edge of his zanpakutoh up in an attempt to cut the projectile in half, not knowing what would happen.

Kasen gave a grave grinned which was different that normal than his normal smile, but a dark smile that he forced himself to have. The one thing Zaine didn't know, was that you should never try to face these arrows head on, for Kasen wasn't a quincy who used multiple arrows of the reiatsu and reiryoku in the air, but a shinigami who's powers where very much different. The arrow split at the edge of Zaine's blade, however the release of flaming reiatsu cause a bursting flame explosion which was a direct impact at Zaine's range. Kasen however did not expect a fatality yet as he knew the exacts length of the arrow he created. "An eight-foot arrow with a six-foot shaft, two foot arrowhead with a width of one inch, and was fired at a velocity of 54mph north at Zaine." Kasen thinking of his arrow and the possibility of fatality which was narrow even for an unseated member.

Zaine was engulfed in the explosion, his body was unable to be seen until the flames cleared, revealing that Zaine was still standing though slightly more singed and his clothing tattered especially his cloak. "Dammit! Im running low on these things." he muttered angrily and ripped the long sleeves off, then looked to Kasen and smiled slightly "You owe me a new coat." he said and dashed once more at the shinigami.
