This sticky is for feedback about this subforum. I'd like to know what everyone thinks of my work, and whether it has been useful or not. I'd also like you all to answer the poll - every time I make a new sticky, the poll will be changed and the options will be different.
Please don't flame me, but rather, leave constructive criticisms. I'd prefer to keep this topic civil. If you don't think there's anything wrong with this subforum, then say so.
Anyhow, thanks for reading this. I really hope this subforum helps people appreciate D&D as much as I do.

I find everything in this forum to be very effective.
Might I suggest putting together an online D&D game? Gaia has that dice rolling thing in the post actions that has all of the dice for the game, so it would theoretically be possible. Perhaps the players could create the character sheets, then upload them to one topic to be used for multiple campaigns? It seems like a lot of work...

Yes, if you'd like to play D&D online in this subforum, be my guest. That was actually one of the reasons I made it. I, unfortunately, cannot commit myself to any games since school is starting soon, but if anyone decides they would like to DM a game, I would suggest opening a thread to recruit players.
I will be lurking around to make sure everything is going alright during school, so if there's any rules that anyone needs confirmed, a PM can be sent to me.

*nods* My own school is coming up very soon, so I doubt I could DM very well (unless everyone was on at midnight).

I've always wanted to try starting up a slow moving game... as in, you take turns posting and post whenever you can. It may take days to get through a single round of combat. Or weeks to get through a scene. But the point is you can just pop in every now and then, check on the story, and maybe do something creative if its your turn. I dunno. It could work, but then again it could fail miserably.
I've never DMed. And I don't really feel up to starting lol

Well, guys, the only way you can develop any skills is by DMing. So try it when you have time, but I wouldn't suggest it unless you've been playing D&D for a while.
Also, on the subject of races, that is not for me to decide, but the DM in any prospective campaign. Some DMs that are just starting are only comfortable with using the three core books (as shown in August's Book of the Month), but other DMs don't limit their players at all. Some DMs use homebrew races.

First i would like to say that this section is great. You have done a good job.
I would also like to add that anyone new or old wanted to try out playing D&D 3.5 on Gaia, we have oru Afiliate Guild (my guild) "Adventures in Faerun"
(I hope this is not spam, i just thought it was appropriate seeing all of the curiosity on the subject)
