Let us go back to the beginning. Mankind comes into creation, whether through Divine Intervention or through Evolution of His own means, it doesn't matter. This species aged and advanced on the small blue planet known as Earth. Man called this planet Home, living most of His life upon it. Mankind would kill itself, it's species fighting amongst eachother for bare essentials such as food and living territory. Ages passed, though in the Universal perspective it was merely an eye blink, and Humanity claimed to have become sophisticated, compared to it's savage past. Any creature, whether Earthling or not, would laugh at this idea. Sure, Man may have developed better clothing, buildings, and ways of entertaining oneself, but they still killed eachother relentlessly. However, it was no longer over such trivial matters as food. No, Mankind started fighting itself over natural resources to fuel their machines of war.

This was one of the first steps into the complete destruction of this race.

The wars raged, and over the years the weapons got bigger, better, more devastating. The very Earth that they lived on was threatened by their own destructive hands. They were soon building bombs that could wipe out entire cities, hundreds of thousands of lives, in a flash. It seemed that Humanity would never learn from its mistakes, until it was too late. Finally that war came. The last, great war of Humankind. The War to end all Wars, so to say. Their missiles were fired, their planet was devastated, their species diminished to but a handful. Those that did not die during the bombardment soon died afterward, and those that persevered were driven into insanity, becoming irrational and animal-like until they, too, died on their poisoned world. The last death throes of the planet Earth were witnessed by the last vestiges of Mankind.

The long-voyage spaceship, UNE Ishimura, hung in orbit around the planet while it destroyed itself, unable to do anything to stop the carnage or to help their brethren. They realized that they were the last of their kind. Their once blue world that teemed with life of all kinds was now a poisonous, brown wasteland. It's nuclear radiation, residue from its Final War, hung in the atmosphere like that of the planet Venus. Finally, after the initial shock of near-extinction had passed months later, the people of the Ishimura decided to fulfill their original mission: To seek out a habital planet and set up a colony.

The crew rechristened the ship Ark, referring to the famed Bible character Noah and his Ark when God flooded the Earth. The last of Humanity, these refugees, had finally learned to put aside their differences and work together, being forced to make it to their new world, or kill eachother in the process.

Interesting idea UnjustExitus. I would partake in wonderful fun, but I too am lazy right now and hopefully will be creative enough to wait ideally for a skeleton to appear...a character one that is. From then I'll decide if I will join, though kudos on the general rp scheme and I wish you luck with it.
In addition, thank for no "new age" cs. I think they not only make my fingers sore before the actual fun typing, but squeeze all the info out of me which usually makes the roleplaying fun. Double kudos, and one for me too because I'm hungry...

So I sent skeletons for the family I'd like to play in this game sometime late last night, and I'm just posting here to to say that I'm really looking forward to seeing the game start.

General Appearance:u] Serinity trys to keep her appearance respectable, she is kind in nature so it shows in her face. She has crystal blue eyes that stand out from the rest of her, soft brown hair that falls slightly short of her shoulders

Back Story: Serinity went out to her mail box, seeing a letter from NASA. It was odd, why would the United States Space Station be sending her a letter? She was still a student, her major being space expeditions and astrology. It was a brief introduction to a colony ship, in need of people to harbor and live upon it. This thrilled Serinity! What a better opportunity then to live aboard a ship, searching the solar system. It was her dream, and it was coming true.. (More shall be revealed as the story goes.)
