oh boyyy;
my school's band just got another BD,who's female and apparently very demanding.but anyways,she changed the show(after all 10th and 11th graders had the other show memorized) D:,there's a $500 dollar band fee (does this lady have no concept of the economy crisis) and band camp is from 7:30am-5:00pm for 5 days with temperatures 101 degress.

&& this BD is not being realistic for high school attention spans

Sounds kinda like my director, but less fun. xd She's strict when with the whole band, but if she's talking to someone one-on-one, she's a lot of fun. =D Changing a show doesn't sound like a good idea, though...
Our band fee is $750, I think, and our band camp is 9-9 for two weeks. We've been lucky and had some rain, but of course, it gets hot here when we have band camp...it's been so nice all summer, too. D=

That's a bit weird...everyone will be like, "So...what's your name?" when they meet her. xd
What do you mean by level? We're a relatively competitive band, and we like to get a lot of our show on the field before school starts. Last year we got the whole show on the field by our first competition, but we didn't have too many breaks or anything during practice. We have a lot of breaks at band camp this year, so it's less intense, but I like it either way...except the sunburn.
