Zukota pondered to himself, "I wonder if Mayuri can generate a substitute for the power of the Sokyoku." He marked the page in the book that contained the information and set it aside for later, and then picked up a scroll and began work on translating it.
*SCENE CHANGE*
Mayuri looked at the Arrancar more closely a frown on his face, "Read the reports, they're over there," he indicated with one of his scrawny fingers a small panel. "I don't have time to explain anything to you, but you'll see that the phantoms are nearly the same as humans." Mayuri went to work, typing commands into various keyboards and examining screens, his eyes wide, he began mumbling about the need to improve the speed of the connection to his field generators.

Kalron strolled leisurely to where the reports were, fighting the grimace at what the human shaped zebra had done to this creature.
"Well... you're right... they have the reactions and constitution of human beings." His eyes darted toward the monochromatic megalomaniac. "So how can I help?" The words bitter on his tongue.

(I'll take a break with Zukota for now... too much of 'he is now reading this' and such is just too monotonous.)
*SCENE CHANGE*
Mayuri smiled wide, his eerily perfect teeth and golden eyes bearing down on the hollow, "I need you to go in there and see if you can talk with it, though it could be dangerous, so don't go in unless you are committed enough to the cause to sacrifice yourself for the greater good."

"Don't underestimate me... as much as you would love the leftover carcass to investigate and experiment on, I'm not going to die." He sighed, waving the shinigami off.
He entered the chamber that the phantom was occupying. The said being was sitting in the lotus postion*. He decided that it would be best to imitate the phantom and be as peaceful as Hollowly possible. "So... my name is Kalron. I'm not here to attack or harm you unlike some creeply little clown-like death gods."
"May I be honored with your name?" He asked calmly after a short pause.

Mayuri watched expectantly, various monitoring devices flashing and beeping. He smiled, "I think it's gone into another inactive phase, that means it could react in one of two ways at any moment." He started to press buttons in a seemingly random order on the various keypads surrounding him, "it will either tear you to shreds, it did so to all the other testers that I sent in, or it will start to give off its unique energy, I believe that is the key to communicating with it".

Don't eat the French fish Peara shook her head. It felt heavy, and she didn't recognize where she was. There was a swirling gray mist all about her, like a thick fog. Vaguely she could see a shadowed form ahead of her. Going towards it she couldn't help but feel as if she were in a bad horror movie but at the same time something compelled her towards it. When she was near enough to see it's features she recognized it as the apparition that had taken on her form in the supermarket. It looked like it was in agony, it's faced contorted into an expression of pure, unadulterated pain. "H-help me..... m-make th..em sto---" It's voice and body both vanished with a horrible cry that jolted her from her sleep. Upon awakening she didn't know where she was. She looked around, noting the door. Exiting she ran down the hallway trying to find the Captain Commander. it's POISSON

Kalron just watched it, his hand had been on Hombrelobo the entire time. He wasn't going to die. He would make sure this thing died before he did.

Zukota felt a spike in Peara's spiritual pressure, it seemed as though she had woken up abruptly and was in quite a state. He put down the scroll he was translating, it had turned out to be a map leading to an ancient treasure trove. It was doubtful that the trove was even still there, or that if it was, it would have anything of use hidden within it. Zukota walked down the hall, he would have to find Peara before she got lost.
*SCENE CHANGE*
The phantom began to stir, its head cocked sideways in an eerie clock-like tick. It seemed to look into the depths of Kalron's soul. The phantom began to glow, and it rose up to a standing position, it walked slowly towards Kalron in a curious fashion.

He stayed in his lowered state so as not to seem dominate or threatening. Dominence only needs to be established when challenged, so to avoid conflict he remained in the submissive state.
His head cocked instinctively as well, studying this creature with interest.

I'd rather be forgottenPeara spotted Zukota and ran up to him. "The phantom! It spoke to me! I was dreaming and it was there! And it spoke! It's hurting....." Than remembered for giving in.]

Zukota held his hand out to Peara in an attempt to calm her, "Tell me what happened exactly," he persuaded, "What did the phantom look like? What did it say?"
*SCENE CHANGE*
The phantom reached out an arm and touched Kalron on the forehead, instantly transmitting a thousand years of information and pain int his mind. "This is very interesting," Mayuri grinned, "It has never done that before. Tell me Arrancar, how does it feel, what are you experiencing right now?"

He cringed slightly from the pain of the informational transfer.
"To say it hurts is a little bit of an understatement... but there is so much information..." His eyes grew wider with the new information. It was like a story book.
"There is a completely different world... and the cultural history is staggering... It's a pain that is a small compensation for a plethora of knowledge..." He spoke with slight giddyness.

Zukota frowned, "who? Who's hurting it? Why did it take on your form?" he asked, trying to get the exact and important details from the distressed Peara.
*SCENE CHANGE*
Mayuri smiled wickedly, "An information transfer eh?" He pressed a few buttons that initiated strange machines that attached themselves to Kalron's head, "These machines will collect the data that was delivered into your consciousness by the phantom. Don't resist them or they could completely destroy your mind."
