Name: Lariexith "Lari" Tor'afin

Age: 280, looks 14

Race: Drow

Religion: Lolth, Queen of Arachnids

Class: Matron

House: Qu'ellar Tor'afin

City: Ulorbbath

Alignment: Chaotic Evil

Height: 4'9

Weight: 80lbs

Hair: Pearly white with gray streaks

Eyes: Ruby Red

Complexion: glimmery ebony

Style: She does not have the typical style for most Matrons. She does not wear long dresses or wear much jewelry. This is on behalf of constant battle stragedy. Long dresses prevent better movement. Trinkets and charms are more of an attraction and can cause injury. Something Lari prefers to have less of. Instead she prefers to wear a necklace on special occasions or during ceremonies. However she does hold a fondess of tattoos and make up. She always wears loopy little designs around her eyes and lots of eye shadow, taken from the ashes of those who have fallen under her. She has various tattoos scattered on her body. Each representing something. She has white spider eyes on the back of her neck, the family emblem on the side of her right calf, colorful snake coils wrapped around her right arm, a passage from a Lolth prayer on her back, and a runic spell on her right under wrist. Her outfits are pretty cutsy. She'll wear the flirtacious short skirts that usually flare at the bottom, a corset for a top, long fingerless gloves, and combat boots. Always sporting her number one love for spiders, cobwebs, and snake-like designs. She normally keeps her hair pretty short, her bangs in front of her face, and the back either spiked up or her wild spiky pigtails.

Mannerisms: Outgoing, insane, morbid, child-like, ADD, demented, and sometimes pretty funny and rediculous at times.

Appearance:

Languages: Dark elf Silent, Drow, Undercommon, Surface Common, Orcish, Elvish, Draconic, Abyssal Aquan, gnome, and goblin.

Weapons/Powers/Knowledge: For weapons, she has a
Mace - User Image
This is pretty much her favorite, every day weapon. She'll often skip down her House's corridors swinging this weapon around and killing commoners just for the hell of it. That is, if she notices the bloody carnage she's causing.
Her other weapon is her staff. She normally uses this weapon during ceremonies, summonings, and to places to deal with business. To have people take her seriously. The head of the staff is made of a live, beating, black heart. People say that the heart had once belonged to Lari's Mother after she betrayed her. The rest of the staff is made of half living metal, and half vines. This metal helps stabilizes the build of the staff while the vines and the living materials preserves the heart.
After becoming a priestess and then after, a Matron. Lari has been given the
Matron's scourge:
An ominous whip with multiple viper-headed falls, each writhing and striking independently, following the wielder's will. The number of vipers upon the scourge often denoting the priestesses rank.
Check Spell book for powers.
Possessions: Lizard Mount and Leviathan.
Biography: Lariexith grew up in a very rich, high favored House. The House was a very battle lusted society. When they weren't causing dispute with their neighbors, they were on the surface raiding. That's where they found their source of wealthy income. Be it food, slaves, weapons and armor, supplies, materials. Whether they took it for their own or they sold it in the Bazaar, the extra raid trips were extremely beneficiary.

Lari was High Priestess. Meaning she was the oldest of her sisters and acing through the Arcane Academy. She was the favorite above all of her siblings. But that was due to the fact that Lari had made her reputation to be feared upon. Even her mother took caution to her eldest daughter to an extent. It was humorous to see the duo for one would look skid-dish and the other would be bouncing off of the walls. Lari was always the hyper and rebellious one. But amongst her insanity was a hidden genius.

Lariexith had stabbed her mother many times in the back without her knowing. She had slept with her Mother's patron who was in no blood relation to Lari. And together they had a daughter whom Lari named Briza. Lari had smoothed the truth over her mother the next morning with an absolute, persuasive lie. Saying her patron had raped her while she was getting ready for bed one night. He had sneaked inside her private chambers. The Matron ordered for the death of her Patron immediately. Blinded by rage at the forbidden thought of it all.

As months moved on and Briza started to grow. Lariexith wondered if her home would be enough to raise her child in. She then came to the conclusion that it was time to move out and form her own home. She wondered if she could get away with stealing a couple hundred slaves and commoners from her Mother to move out with and start building a House from that. Or... if she could merely take her Mother's whole House down and claim it for herself. She had already received a fearful reputation and High Priestesses have been known to take down Matrons.

Lariexith gathered hidden followers in the House. Her followers became more like cultists. Lari's speech was like a Gospel. She explained to them her plans to try to take down the House from the inside, out. She pointed out the main obstacles and people they would need to divert in order to complete the plan. Lari even sought out outsiders. She made new allies and stuck to the already made allies. She was careful who to talk to. Lari didn't want any word of her plan getting back to the Matron. She made deals with outside allies that she would share any wealth they can take from the House. And she made her followers a compromise by giving them a more beautiful, more organized, much better home. She explained to them the blue prints she had already drawn out for her House. After many hands shook, the plan began.

It first started with Lari placing Briza into the arms of a wizard who opened a portal and transported to safety. Then chaos came like a silent breath of air. Assassins moved through the house stealthily, slicing the throats on guards. Mages came from behind to hide the bodies and traces as long as they could before something would ruin their cover.

Lariexith took to the stairs and headed up to the Royal Dormitories. First Lari beheaded all of her sisters with a knife cleanly and silently. When Lari finally reached her Mother's room, she found her starring out the window saying she had expected this day to come. The door then closed automatically on the two to settle their spar. It was shortly after that moment when a cry sounded throughout the corridors. The assassins had been spotted and were now in the mist of combat with the rest of the House. Towards the end, fire started to burn down the House. Trying to avoid getting burned and blinded, everyone ran out to the courtyard and continued combat.

Just then, Lariexith made her appearance on the burning roof and shouted down at all of the people, "THE MATRON IS DEAD! I AM YOUR NEW MATRON NOW!"

Agreeing feebly now that their previous Mistress had died, they looked upon Lariexith as their new ruler. She then divided the wealth with the outside allies, grabbed the rest of the House's troops, and left her home city seeking out a new life.

Several years later, Lariexith finally settles down in Ulorbbath of Undergaia. Her establishment looking grander then most of the Houses. Which is pretty good for it being so low in rank.

Name: Briza "Bri" Tor'afin
Age: 72, looks like her Mother could be her younger sister.
Race: Drow
Religion: Lolth, Queen of Arachnids
Class: Priestess
House: Tor'afin
City: Ulorbbath
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Height: 5'1
Weight: 90lbs
Hair: Starlight White
Eyes: Cherry Red
Complexion: Soft charcoal black
Style: Unlike her mother, Briza is a little more conservative in what she wears. Usually she'll wear the long, flowy materials. On occasion she might have an outfit or two that shows off her stomach, back, and shoulders. Some of the materials are slightly see through. Like her mother, Briza doesn't care too much for jewelry. But, she does keep her hair long and down. Briza has no tattoos and hardly ever wears makeup. Thus giving her style a very clean, fresh, and innocent look.
Mannerisms: Quiet, seductive, charming, obedient to her mother's word, snooty when it comes to other races, shy around other priestesses, shy around Nobles. Can be a little two faced. Can be deceiving.
Appearance:
Languages: Undercommon, Elvish, Drow, Dark_elf_Silent, Surface Common.
Weapons/Powers/Knowledge: Look at her Mother's Spellbook. And she has the gift of foresight.
Possessions: Seven headed snake whip.
Biography: Briza had a rough life while she was growing up. Her mother constantly pushed her into practicing the family spell book. Even while they were in the wilds of the Underdark. Or in caves near the surface. No matter where they were, it made studying extremely difficult. They would settle in one city for about two years. Briza would attend to the nearest Arcane Academy. But then shortly they would move again. Every five years this happened. It was hard to find a good place to start a House since they all started at the lowest rank. The higher houses would try to demolish the lower houses to prevent threats in the near future. That, and her mother was just plain picky. Secretly, Briza begged for the day where they would settle and become as big as her grandmother did. From the stories she heard, she idolized her grandmother. There was times where Briza and Lari didn't always agree. Briza doesn't care too much for her mother's immature attitude, two face phases, reckless moves, or style. Briza has also been more drawn to weapons and fighting then to magic. Certain that her mother would never have her daughter fight alongside a common soldier, Briza sucks in these desires and bids her time.
