The building seemed run down, but was sturdy enough. Jaeger spent hours and hours getting the interior cleaned up. The utilites were running, which was good. Jaeger stocked the refigerator and cubboards with enough supplies to last a month. It was more than enough.
The furnature was scarse, but confortable. It took some doing, but he had managed to get a working television in there. It wasn't the best conditions, but it was comfortable enough.

*Jaeger enters with some supplies.* "You doing alright here, kid?"
*Iris sits, half watching TV and pacing the floor at superspeed.* "Geez, this is SO boring. How much longer do you think this'll take?"
*Jaeger puts the supplies away.* "Can't say for sure. I can say your folks are really worried about you."
*Iris pouts and turns away from Jaeger.* "Hmph. They should be. Serves them right."
*Jaeger finishes putting everything away and heads for the door.* "No, it doesn't."
"But...!"
"Save it. Just think about what we're doing here. I've got to go before someone figures where I am."
*Jaeger leaves.*

Jaeger worked on another ransom letter as Iris took a nap. With this one completed he's be able to bring this entire melodrama to a close. He examined his work, but was so caught up with it he didn't notice the intruder in the safehouse until it was too late.
Jaeger jerked sharply as heavy voltage ran through him. It happened so fast that he didn't have time to call out to warn Iris.
Once Jaeger was unconscious the intruder slipped into the room Iris was staying in and used chloroform to make sure the young speedster stayed asleep.
Jaeger still wasn't moving as the intruder left with Iris, setting fire to the safehouse as they left.

My God...Whatever this used to be, it's been burnt to the ground.
::Grinds a bit of ashed soot under his heel::
If Iris or Jaeger were here-
::A soft groan sounds out from some debris fallen in a corner::
Hold that thought.
::Bigby grabs the fallen roof support and pulls it off of where the sound is eminating from. He looks down, shocked::
Mother of God. It's Jaeger Ayers. At least...what's left of him.
::Grabs his cell phone::
Oracle. I need you to find a way to transport someone out of the Cyberdome and directly into a medical center...or something.
I don't think he's going to make it....

Misfit! I want you to find Judomaster and get to Bigby's location. You'll need her help carrying Jaeger's, and you are to take them immediately to S.T.A.R. Labs, Professor Hamilton. He'll be expecting you.
