He had been bug hunting all day, letting the sun set to let the sky turn pink and orange. He had found quite a few interesting species of bug.. But he decided to eat them and move on. He liked bugs, they always had a different texture, depending on the type you ate.. He preferred the crunchy ones...Though he did know of quite a few who preferred the caterpillar types. Fat, meaty, juicy, and just all over gross to Chincha.
The male was a sweet boy, always having been a close consort to his mother. He had decided it was his mission in life to make sure she was safe...Happy.. He would never let anything hurt her, or else they would deal with him. Not that he was a dangerous lion... But if anyone messed with his mother, he would hurt them, and then he'd be dangerous.
He smiled, the rabbit fur over his shoulder showing how accomplished he had become. He was a rather good hunter, able to catch up with some of the rabbits that darted along the lands. It gave him a preference for rabbit..But right now, his belly was little, and he was sure once he grew, he would need larger prey.

Aryaisha had enjoyed the day, he had been wandering and enjoying the day. It had been a nice day, with the sun shining and a warm breeze blowing. Even the sunset was beautiful, what with the pink and orange sky and clouds lighting up the sky, and as the night fell Ary found that he was not tired at all.
Rather then resting underneath a tree as he normally did, Ary started to wander across the moon washed grassland. With his eyes on the stars he contemplated his life...
He grew up with his mom but no father, a little practical jokester with out a care in the world. But that all changed when his mother was brutally killed and he learned that stories and pranks had no space in his world anymore. It was not until he had grown to adulthood that he realized that he hated his serious, sober self and swore that he would change. After a few months of being a big child Ary found a balance for the most part and for the first time in a long time Ary was happy with himself.
Ary looked to the sky and said quietly to the gods "Thank you." he thanked them for the way his life had changed for the better and for all the others that he has met in his wanderings.

Chincha tended to be the type to sleep a few hours of the day, and be active and busy the rest of the time. His body was not tired, and the energy he usually carried tended to keep him busy. Sleep was for losers, oh so he liked to think sometimes.
His tail flicking side to side, he couldnt seem to find anything to keep his interest. When the sun goes down, the fun in the savannah tended to go with it.
He looked side to side, bright blue eyes gleaming as he did so. He as alone, or so he thought.. a Scent caught his nose, and he stopped, waiting. He could smell something now.. And the longer he waited he swore he heard heavy paws hitting against the earth.
He lowered his ear to the earth, and listened intently.
Lifting his head, he smiled. Something was coming.

Aryaisha was walking quietly but by no means silently, contemplating the way his life had changed. Something a lioness he had met was bothering him so he mentally chewed on it as he studied the waning gibbous moon and the stars. Even mentally distracted he sensed that he was no longer alone, there was nothing that marked the change in the grasslands but Ary knew that someone was out there.
"Hello?" He called out lightly, trying not to disturb the nights peacefulness and anyone's sleep.

"Im not answerin' if you plan on hurting me." Chincha called back, sticking to the shadows even though the white of his pelt could probably be seen if anyone had given have a look.
He watched the other, and couldnt help but examine him. He was a big lion. A -big- lion. If he wanted to snatch Chincha up and eat him he could do it in a heartbeat.
He stood still, motionless.
He wasnt going to be eaten today. No siree.

Aryaisha chuckled at the voice's guts so with a amusement in his voice Ary said "I'm not going to hurt you and I hate to point this out but you did answer me." Using the voice Ary could find the owner of the voice, or more accurately the white that shone lightly in the moon. Judging from the size of the shadow that he could make out, the voice was a young lion. To try to prevent scaring the lion, Ary sat down and waited to see what this brave little 'voice' would do.

Well..if he wasnt gonna hurt him, then he felt no need to hide from him. Chincha darted from the hiding place and smiled at the bigger male.
"Well I never said where I was!" He smiled, flicking his tail, whether it was a logical statement or not. He knew full well that if the big guy had been a bad guy, he would have been found in a heartbeat.
"Whats your name?"

Aryaisha watched as the young lion came out into the 'light', what little there was now that the sun was gone and the moon had taken its place. "Names Aryaisha but most just call me Ary. And you, young shadow?" For some reason Ary felt like gently teasing this young lion, so in a spark of amusement called him shadow since his pelt was a gray. Although I guess it would make more sense to call him little ghost. He thought to himself as he waited to see what the juvenile would do.

Chincha almost didnt want to share his name, because the nickname had been just so cool! He smiled, grinning and laughing a bit at that.
"My name is Chincha'Jibari. But Im called Chincha, or Chin." He nodded, flicking his tail back and forth.
"But I think I like the nickname, so feel free." He laughed again. The nickname Little Ghost would have worked, as he was a Ghost rank in the Mizuka pride, but Arya hadnt voiced that name. He had called him Young Shadow, and that was just as cool.

"Nice to meet you Chin, but since you like Shadow then that is what I will call you." Aryaisha didn't expect this young lion to really like the nickname, he figured he would just shrug it off but he was oddly happy that Chin did indeed like it. "So Shadow what are you doing out this late?" Ary new the dangers of night well, and how the dangers were a bit more when one was young.
Ary did a covert look around, he was acting like and really stretching, and did not see any others close by. He gave a internal sigh of relief, Now we wont have to worry about anyone picking a fight. For a average size lion, Ary was always covertly on the look out for trouble, one of the many mental scars from his one messed up childhood.

He smiled, letting his tail sway to and fro. "Im exploring, thats all. Maybe a little bug hunt. I like bugs ya know." He chuckled.
He had never really been worried about the dangers. Danger really wasnt something he thought about all the time. It mightve been his undoing one day, however, it wasnt today.
"What about you?"

"Bug hunting? I don't think I have done that since I was just a young cub. What is your favorite bug?" Ary was surprised that this young lion was bug hunting since he remembered only hunting bugs when he was much younger then Shadow was right now. But then again by the time I was Shadow's age I was on my own and didn't have time to hunt bugs. He thought silently before answering Shadow's question, "I was just wandering with no particular destination in mind. Coming from nowhere and going to nowhere." He smiled to take off any edge his words might have carried. His lonely nature didn't really bother him but he knew that it didn't always come off that way.

Chincha still lived with his family, and eventually his mother would move them to the new pride that she had been speaking of. A new home. He would hopefully never have to set out on his own. He truly had no interest in it.
"I like the juicy ones." He mused, thinking about the caterpillars that had fallen prey to the little carnivore when he had found them. Well, caterpillars and grubs anyway.
"I dont get to bughunt much anymore, as momma has been teaching us to hunt large prey, instead of something such as a snack." He nodded proudly.

"Ahh yes the juicy ones are quite good. I favored the crunchy ones myself." Ary said as he thought of the last time he went bug hunting. "Learning to hunt larger and more dangerous prey is a very useful skill to learn because as you get older Shadow you will need more and more to be full." Luckily for him Ary's mom had already taught him the rudimentary of hunting, she had said that it was a game. He was waiting to see what Shadow would say when his own stomach rumbled.
Ary smiled slightly and said, "Well it seems that all this talk of hunting has made me hungry. I'm sorry to cut our conversation short but I should hunt now before everyone settles down for the night." He nodded politely to the young lion before disappearing into the night.
((edited first post slightly, just pulled the hunting bit is all.))

Chincha smiled, though he wished they could have spoken longer. He truly had found a friend in the male, though he found friends with everyone. He was just all over friendly.
"Okay, well have a good hunt! Imma catch some bugs." He called, and turned looking towards the tree stump in the distance.
"Bingo." He smiled, and ran off in an attempt at another days successful bughunt.
