As if they didn't learn their lesson with Season 1, they're making Stone of Tears into Season 2. And you can already see how bad it'll be after I tell you this: MORD SITH USE A WEAPON THAT ISN'T AN AGIEL!

I don't like the show as a Sword of Truth show, but I like the show as a "general entertainment" kind of show.
Plus Bridget Regan is so sexy. redface

Well, they have the Agiels...........they just use archery too. Which pisses me off because Mord Sith can't use regular weapons very well. That includes archery. Denna tells that to Richard in book WFR.

As long as they still have their agiels and occasionally use them I wont be upset if they are good at archery, didnt kahlan once say it was frowned upon for women to learn archery so its kind of fitting that mord sith do it.
Also I thought the noise from the agiel was kind of annoying.

Phanari As if they didn't learn their lesson with Season 1, they're making Stone of Tears into Season 2. That means the show is getting enough viewers to keep it alive. By how much? I couldn't possibly guess, but I don't like it. SOT is one of the best things to ever happen to me, and I hate to see it so....wrong. I never have and never will be a supporter of that show. I will not be a figure in those ratings.

From the first episode of the second series, I was like, "NO you have it all wrong!!!" Because seriously, they do. And I couldn't believe the ending to the last series! (I've read all the books, so for whoever hasn't, I'll try not to ruin anything.) It was NOTHING like the ending of the book. From the get-go the writers screwed up the simplest facts like: Darken Rahl is Richard's father NOT BROTHER. Anyway, I'm gonna stop there otherwise every single one of my complaints about the writers' mistakes would take pages and pages to list. sweatdrop But feel free to add on to my complaints! xd

I've been looking into why this series has become so popular, and I figured out something, through reading several online blogs and polls, that should have surprised me less. The show's fanbase is comprised primarily of people who have never read any of the books, but who thoroughly enjoyed Hercules and Xena. They've taken up LotS as their new high fantasy show, despite what the fans say. Even Terry Goodkind doesn't support this show, seeing as they're screwing the pooch at every turn. I found this both comforting and disturbing. On one side, we, the true fans, are not responsible. On the other hand, nor can we stop the slaughter of our beloved franchise.
