[This is a OOC Thread rp turned formal. <3]
Tirokio
-rides in on Moonhoof- X3 <3

vollyballrocks91
*sits on Tiro on Moonhoof* <3

Leez0rz
owo *Watches Moonhoof.*
Khajag: *Oogles secretly.*

Tirokio
Moonhoof: -grunts at the weight- One was bad enough.. e__e; -blinks at Khajag- Care to help a fellow out? sweatdrop

Leez0rz
Khajag: *Blinks and blushes a bit, coming closer to the stallion.* err-- uhmm.. s-sure. *Gently tries to nudge the human off, at least give the human a hint and gives the familiar human, Volly, a pleading look.*

Tirokio
Moonhoof: -looks back to see his owner seemed to have dissapeared- Ah, my deepest thanks. Im afraid im not much of a passenger carrier. -smiles warmly- Im Moonhoof...

vollyballrocks91
*crawls over to Khajag and curls in his mane again* ninja

Leez0rz
Khajag: *Flushes a bit.* W-well.. it's no big deal.. I'm sure any one could do it. *Fidgets a bit.* O-oh? You look well built to do so.. *Cringes a bit, trying not to bring attention too much to that comment.* Oh.. I'm Khajag. *Blushes a bit.*

*Suddenly feels a weight going down on his head.* W-what? *Looks confused, trying to lift up his head.* Oh no..

Tirokio
Moonhoof: Maybe...yet there was no one around to help me but you. Im glad you were here. -smiles lazily, flicking his hair from his eyes- I assure you...it might just be how the light hits but I'm only good at collecting, im afraid being a work stallion is out of my league. -completely oblivious on the comment- Khajag, pleasure to meet you. x3

Leez0rz
Khajag: I guess.. *Flushes.* Oh, I see. What kind of things do you collect? *Smiles shyly, glad that he didn't catch that unintentional compliment.* Its a pleasure to meet you too.. *Still tries not to freak out to why he can't lift his head... definitely can feel someone in his mane again...*

Tirokio
Moonhoof: I collect lots of herbs, mushrooms and any old thing. Im a herbalist...always testing what kind of things and mixtures I can make. -nods his head as a few of the beads clink together, blinking as he noticed Volley- I dare say you have a passenger of your own... -chuckles and lips at volley- :3

Leez0rz
Khajag: *Blinks, listening to Moonhoof, giving his full attention.* Does that mean.. you make things to heal others? *Curious look.* Err-- What do you usually make, if not? *Looks shocked then confused.* I-I do? I don't think.. she's in a good spot to be on. *Feels his neck getting weak.* x___x

vollyballrocks91
*realizes ponies are talking about her* o.o *petpets at Moonhoof* ^-^

Tirokio
Moonhoof: I can...I also really like to make healthy herbal teas with hot water from the hotsprings from the mountians. The Kawani were so kind to give me a bowl to place it in. -smiles, quite enjoying the native locals of these hands- Very delicious with a sore throat or even on a cold day. I'll help you though before your neck falls off.. -muses and pulls her down onto his shoulders, still in the hair- Better?

Leez0rz
Khajag: *Eye widen.* Wow.. that's amazing. Did you learn all of this on your own? *Tilts his head, trying to get a kink out.* A herbal tea? I wonder what that tastes like.. that seems so foreign, but I'm sounds kind of good.. *Blushes a tad from the smile.* Oooh.. Really? I'll be sure I'll track you down whenever I get sick, if you don't mind. *Blushes a bit when the stallion got closer to help him out.* Th-thank you.. I really appreciate it. *Smiles shyly.* Much better.. *Sighs in relief.*

Tirokio
Moonhoof: No of course not..I had some teaching from our herd's herbalist at the time, a grand elder Cerynei. Im still an apprentice, this land has many more wonderful new plantlife to explore. -looks off a bit dreamily at all the possibilities before snapping back- Mind? I would be honored, i'll whip up some tea for you in an instance. Do you have a hobby, or specialty? -looks to the darker male, curiosity in his gold orbs-

Leez0rz
[belated] Khajag: Wow.. That's amazing. I wish you the best in pursuing it. *Smiles.* Oh- Well.. You don't need to, I was merely curious.. *Quietly mentions.* Uhm.. I haven't exactly found my... niche yet. *Blushes.* I don't know what I can do... I wasn't exactly exposed to anything that seemed to interest me yet. *Embarrassed.*

Tirokio
Moonhoof: Thank you very much Khaj...do you mind if I call you such? -smiles a bit sheepishly- I'd be glad to. You haven't? -looks a bit shocked at this- Well, If you don't have intrest in herbalism, I could introduce you to my brother? He's into shamanism, im sure we could find other fields you might be able to get involved in?

Leez0rz
Khajag: Oh.. *Blushes.* Of course I don't mind... May I call you Moon? *Shakes his head, still embarrassed.* Well.. I think I might be a bit interested in herbalism.. *Blinks and looks a bit surprised.* You have a brother? Wow.. *Blushes.* Sure.. I wouldn't mind meeting him too. nwn;; *Still feels embarrassed.* I... don't know.

Tirokio
Moonhoof: Of course you may. -nods with a smile of his own- Oh you are? Most excellent! I could teach you all I know...it would be lovely to be able to compare discoveries to a fellow herbalist -grins widely, before shrugging his shoulders in a stretch to relieve a crack- He's my opposite in colouring mostly, his name is Wenopa if you get a chance to see him. :3

Leez0rz
Khajag: *Blushes.* Really? I would love that.. *Looks a tad surprised.* Thank you for being so.. willing to teach me what you know. I feel... really blessed. *Smiles shyly.* Oh? Does that mean he's your twin? *Blinks, trying to imagine what he would look like.* I'll keep my eyes open for him..

Tirokio
Moonhoof: Its no problem, really...i'd enjoy it. -gives a small shake of his locks- That he is...Wenopa and I have some differences in our looks...but I suppose there are pros and cons. It would be strange with an identical twin. -blinks- Do you have siblings, Khajag?

Leez0rz
Khajag: So.. when do you think we can get started..? *Glances up to Moon.* What are the pros and cons? *Asks curiously, finding Moon increasingly interesting.* Why would it be strange? I think maybe.. it could be quite fun. *Blinks.* Not any that I know of.. ever since I wandered over here. nwn;; Do you and your brother get along well?

Tirokio
Moonhoof: Anytime. How much do you know about local herbs and such? I'll need to know where to start. -beams, tilting his head to the side as he thought a moment- Well, I imagine there is a pretty close bond between identical twins, yet at the same time unless they're different genders there could be a complication telling who's who! I enjoy looking somewhat similar, yet I do at times wish I had my brother's shorter hair. -finds tangles very...painful-Its strange because I think its odd to see my reflection in the water let along standing beside me. -chuckles and dips his head- Yes, we get along great. Similar intrests and a peaceful personality. Thats a shame...where did you originate from?

Leez0rz
Khajag: I'm afraid that I don't know much... I never knew that I'd find someone to teach me things. *Fidgets a bit.* I can maybe name some flowers and trees, but that's about it. *Blinks and simply nods his head.* I would imagine that too, but it would be fun having a twin that looks exactly like you because of that complication, but I guess.. it could get annoying for them and cause conflict. nwn;; *Tilts his head.* Do you need help with the tangles? Why not ask someone for help when it comes to your hair? *Laughs a bit.* That must be some sight to see you and your brother by your side. *Smiles.* That's good you two get along. It would be very.. sad if a twin couldn't get along with their other twin. *Flicks his tail.* North of the fields, more towards the mountainous area where its cooler in comparison to this area.

Tirokio
Moonhoof: Thats a great start...how well do you know the poisonous plants in this region? Wouldn't want to have a slip up with those! -laughs, before going crosseyed and blowing some hair from his face- Usually my brother has to run his antlers through them to get the tangles cleared...but thats pretty painful. Otherwise I don't really have any other way. I suppose though, back to our subject...if one was rather mischevious it would be fun to be a identical twin. Yet Im pretty boring aside from my plants. -sheepisly shrugs- This is well, kind of a first for me in these lands to be having a conversation! -nods, is glad his brother is like his best friend- Ahh I see! So how do you like this heat?

Leez0rz
Khajag: *Blushes.* I honestly have no idea.. I guess I'm fortunate enough to never have came up upon one.. *Watches Moon curiously, somewhat finding some of his actions.. adorable.* *Cringes.* That does sound painful... Why not groom it like.. a mother to her foal? It doesn't look like your antlers look like they should be used for.. grooming. *Smiles.* I agree with you there. Although, I think if I had the twin, I'd probably be the "well-behaved, lets his brother blame me for things he did" kind of twin. *Laughs a bit.* I don't think you're boring at all, Moon! *Blushes a bit.* Well-- ahh.. you just have so many layers to yourself.. and its very endearing with what you do with plants.. *Flushes and shakes his head, feeling embarrassed again through the string of compliments.* *Smiles.* R-really? This is my second.. I guess I'm getting better at being social myself. *Frowns a bit.* I'm not a huge fan of it... I'd rather be in a cool, breezy climate, maybe even rain, than in this muggy heat. *Sighs.*

"Thats good to hear...or else I wouldn't have met you." Moon smiled, his features illuminated under the night sky, as well as by his beads and antlers catching the light of the moon to allow them to glow. The poor lad didn't know the reprocussions of his words to Khaj, such was the life of a hermit. "I...suppose I could do that. But I have no one to reach the back of my hair in that fashion, and I very well can't reach myself!" A curt chuckle rose in his throat, golden orbs gleaming with joy. It had been so long since he had good company...trees just sometimes didn't cut it.

"Well when it comes to it, Wenopa is the social one....oh?" He smiled warmly, the stallion was so kind with his compliments, he wasn't sure if he deserved them but it was indeed nice to hear! "Well You are turning into a real social butterfly, emerging beautifully from its cocoon. Even if you don't like it...some are born with the ability, perhaps like you?" He offered, tilting his head to the side as a wide smile crossed his ivory snout. "I love the rain. I have yet to find a better moment in time than sitting near a lake while it rains meditating. There is nothing like the level of serenity you can acheive...." Moon sighed happily, drifting off in blissful thought.

Khajag stared at Moon in shock, blushing darkly. The only indication of his blushing was the purplish hues along his red markings. The stallion looked at the captivating sight before him, too surrealfor Khajag to believe that he was seeing what he was seeing. The stallion bowed his head down, still feeling his embarrassment heating his cheeks. He had no clue what to say to that, so instead, he stayed quiet while trying his best to understand why it seemed like it meant a lot. The nibbling of his bottom lip showed his nervousness as he peered through his bangs shyly to look at Moon. "I don't mind helping with that..." He said softly.

He tilted his head, "What does that make you then...?" He asked curiously, then returned to blushing and bowed his head down again. "R-really..?" He asked hesitantly. "I can't believe it.." He whispered, finding the idea of himself being a social butterfly. The stallion quietly watched the other stallion, curiously studying him. A small smile appeared on his lips as well, closing his eyes slowly. "I just love the smell of the rain. It's refreshing.."

"You don't? Mind if I take you up on that offer?" Warm was the smile which always seemed to flutter across his lips, Moonhoof had never really been a sexual being, he had no need for it between his profession and brother. The life of a hermit often changed souls, as for the longest time he'd lost intrest in his species and resorted to the comforts of the forest. Perhaps this was why he seemed mentally immune to his behaviour and actions...it simply not registering for him. Slowly dropping to lay upon his legs, he tilted his head forward a bit as an invitation to try and tackle the tangles.

"That makes me, dear Khaj...nothing but a hermit. Truth be told i've tried my best to be social and one with society. Yet somewhere along the way i got caught up in all nature had to offer, to how much herbalism had to offer. It wasn't untill it was too late, that I realized the cost of it was more than I could bare....so I suppose i've been unwilling to change." Moon confided, closing his eyes softly at the painful memory, it was a wound that just wouldn't heal for him...and there was no potion he could make that seemed to work. "I am, although glad to hear of more who appreciate the rain. So many take it as a burden in their busy lives...."

Khajag shook his head to Moon's first question. A small smile grazed his lips before answering the stallion. "Of course not.." He said softly. He had no idea why he was feeling the way he was towards Moon. It seemed silly, and maybe he was getting too distracted... His brows furrowed as he was consumed with his thoughts of his current situation. It was only his second occurrence of talking to another, but comparing his reactions to his first occurrence with Adalina did not create such a reaction like he had with Moon. The stallion paused, tensing up realizing that Moon was position ready to get his tangles out. He blushed, almost forgetting about his task at hand and moved closer to Moon. From there, the stallion started grooming at the crown of his head.

The stallion paused, pulling away from Moon's mane. He could hear and feel the pain from Moon. He frowned, lightly resting his head on the side of Moon's neck to offer him comfort. He didn't know what to say since he didn't know much about Moon's history, nor did he think he had the right to ask him about it. In due time, he would be happy to offer him his thoughts. Instead, for now, he would gladly offer him companionship and comfort. The stallion soon returned to grooming the stallion's mane. "I g-guess... I'm sure they just don't realize its very important for all of us. The rain brings us water for us, the plants we eat, and other living things." He said softly, before returning to grooming.

It had been a long time since Moon had even paid attention to his own appearance, let along had someone dote over his hair like that. Distant memories of his mother often trying to tackle the tangles in his hair made the buck smile softly, Wenopa never had such problems like this, as he inherited the soft straighter hair of their father. It relaxed him like his hours meditation under the waterfalls, or the nights he and his brother bunked together if they were working on some new spells and potions. Contact....it was something he greatly missed, longed for it perhaps.

Nature was good for almost everything, but it lacked the emotion that came from companionship, love, and friendship.

This might be why Moonhoof froze for a moment as Khaj laid his head on his neck in an act of comfort, and boy did it work. There was just something about the warmth of his cheek that was so soothing from the lively but otherwise cold embrace of nature....it wasn't like he could draw comfort from a branch, or flower. "Important...." He echoed softly once the other stallion returned to his hair, staring at the grass. "It is very important, like you said....there are lots of things important in one's short life..."

Khajag continued on with his work, nearing the stallion's ears. He tried to not to breathe directly into the stallion's ear, knowing that when his mother used to groom near his ears, he'd go into a fit of laughter. One of his secret ticklish spots. He also made sure to be careful of the feathers adorning his hair.

His ears flickered, listening to Moon's soft voice. He felt a little concerned, hearing how Moon was trailing off. He pulled his mouth away from the stallion's hair and shifted a bit, wondering what was on Moon's mind. He fidgeted wondering if it would be okay for him to ask Moon or not. Maybe he was overreacting, but he'd rather be sure than seem cold. "Are you okay?" He said softly, his concern reflecting in his eyes. He didn't want to bring up anything painful for the other stallion. "B-but, I agree.. There are a lot of important things in our lives." He said with a soft smile to his face.
PostPosted: Mon Sep 14, 2009 1:03 pm

Lock by lock Moonhoof could feel the difference the grooming had on his hair and his spirit, no longer did some strands pull at his scalp from the tension, drifting down against his neck like it should. The night was quiet except for the occasional hoot of a passing owl, or the quiet serenade of crickets and the wind in harmony. Tilting his head down for a moment so his dark bangs covered his eyes, Moonhoof seriously considered for a moment if he was alright. Since meeting this stallion...he'd remembered the kindness of his ex herdmates....forgetting slowly the pains of being separated so long by the great fire.

Feeling warm from a worried stare, the stallion tilted his head up to meet gold with teal....Khajag...what a wonderful soul he held. It was truly a treasure. "Perhaps....I will be. Tell me Khaj....would you ever consider me to be a friend?" He asked quite seriously while not breaking eye contact, ears flattening against his skull. "I...think its time to get some important things back in my life that i've overlooked...I feel so inspired by you that it makes me believe that maybe....just maybe a hermit can change his ways.."

Hearing the first few words made the stallion feel a bit better. He smiled, truly, to the other stallion. "I would, and I could only hope for the same, Moon." He said softly, not breaking eye contact even once to blink. The stallion blushed a little and fidgeted. "If.. you don't mind me asking, what do you.. want back?" He ask softly, moving to rest his head over the stallion's neck as a 'hug'.

The stallion moved to groom Moon's hair again, intending to finish what he started. As the stallion progressed further, he was proud to do this for Moon. His hair really needed this and it looked like it was rather painful for Moon. He was happy he could relieve him some of his pain. His ears flickered, hearing the music of the night. The stallion smiled a bit, continuing to groom.

A warm smile crawled its way onto his lips, relaxed by the grooming of his newfound friend. "Of course you are..." Moon spoke softly, tilting his head up a bit to look at the night sky through the canopy of leaves and branches above. Completely sincere about his comment, they may have not known each other for that long but that was irrelivent. It was spark, not time which dictated the lasting strength of a friendship and the cerynei definately felt it between them.

"Ask away, Khaj....I have nothing to hide." As his lips curled into a coy grin, he shrugged softly before turning his sights back to the ground as the grooming resumed. "When I was young...I was more social...the fun Wenopa and I had with the other foals was grand. I suppose things changed when our training for our professions really intensified. I just became too wrapped up in my work and training to really live and experience anything else. While everyone else fell in love, had foals, went on grand adventures and fought....I was out learning of nature and plants. A part of me regrets missing that and losing touch with old friends...I do love Herbalism. Its a real contradiction in my thoughts."

Khajag smiled, despite having the other stallion's hair in his mouth. He couldn't deny that he felt a spark of something with Moon. The something that drew him to the stallion. He didn't know exactly what it was, but he was content knowing their friendship was mutual. He continued on with his task, grooming the long locks that were giving the stallion trouble.

After finishing a lock, he pulled back to look at his work. The stallion then refocused to Moon, trying not to get too consumed in his thoughts again. He needed to listen to what Moon was saying. He nodded his head, and took a moment to think of what he was just told. "I think.. that was just something you had to sacrifice, experiencing life, to train for your profession.." He said, looking to Moon. "No. I don't think its a contradiction at all. I think you can always try to reconnect with your old friends, and get back to those adventures." He smiled. "The same thing with being a herbalist. You can always go back to both. You have all the time in the world now to experience life." He nodded.

Still trying not to move his head too much least he wanted to get his hair pulled from the stallion currently tangling the locks, Moonhoof kept his gaze forward as the plants stood tall against the backdrop of mighty trees and shadows cast from the canopy of leaves above. Able to listen in peace while his companion spoke wise words of his situation, he could appreciate the meaning and lesson behind the words. He did have time, now that the herd had all but vanished under Moonhoof's and Wenopa's hooves from the great fire all those years back.

"Even if I tried...I don't think I could find them. Its simply been too long, and who know what direction they took after the fire. That doesn't mean I can't make ones here...perhaps there are other Cerynei too which found their way to these lands eventually. Who knows. Maybe I'll find an apprentice or something like that which can incorporate my profession and social life." True, he wasn't getting younger, but time was of the essence. If Wenopa could do it, why not he? "What of you, Khajag? Do you find yourself being social and living within society or are you having problems like myself?"

Finishing off the last tangled lock, the stallion stepped back to check over his work. He wouldn't want the stallion to leave with knots in his hair, when he had asked for the knots to be removed. After checking the stallion's mane sufficiently, he was satisfied with his work.

His attention shifted to his companion's words, and made sure to let the stallion know he was paying attention to him with light nods to his head. Finding a good moment to speak up, he glanced to the stallion shyly. "If it's been too long, then just hope that luck is with you and chance brings you together." He said with a confident nod. "And I'm certain you will eventually find other Cerynei." He tried assuring his companion.

The stallion thought about it for a moment. He was a wanderer by "profession," and his social life was restricted to those he came across his travels. It felt like he had met a great deal of others along his travels, therefore his social life was not hindered much. Although, there were times when he would not run into another Soquili for days, and there were times when he would run into other Soquili more frequently. It all depended on where he was, the time of day, and the season.

Khajag didn't realize he was thinking and shook himself from the blank look he must have been giving his companion. The stallion felt nervousness bubble up from "spacing out" and gave the stallion an apologetic look. "I wanderer around these lands with no destinations in mind, usually. Since I travel alone... you could say that I am not living within a society and being as social as one would be in a society." He said softly, glancing up to the stallion before continuing on. "I come across others, and since I've gotten here, I feel like I've met a lot of individuals. So, I'm not sure where that puts me..."
