"WELCOME CAMPERS TO YOUR FOURTH CHALLENGE!"
Chris, void of his Magical Girl outfit but still with bright purple hair, stood near the river's edge. Despite how pissed off he'd been the past few days, well...today he was simply grinning ear to ear.
This doesn't bode well for you camper dudes.
"Cmoooon campers, I set up a pretty sweet reward for you at the other side. But to get there...well..." He laughed. That typical, slightly crazy laugh of his. "You're just going to have to find your way across. Hope you don't run into any of my little friends..."
He paused, seemingly thinking it over. "Oh who am I kidding? I hope you DO run into them!"

CROSSING THE RIVER You know, all those times you laughed at my 'lame' challenges? Yeah I bet you're sorry about that now huh?

HOW TO PLAY
Objective: Use the hidden rocks to cross to the other side! ...is it just me, or is Chris smiling a little too much? 1) To begin, you must pick a grid point on the H row. Your objective is to get to the other side, which is beyond the A row. 2) You can only move up, down, right, or left to adjacent squares. You may not move diagonally. 3) You can start ANYWHERE on the H row. You can start at H5, H10, H 7... whatever. You can NOT start on any other row. 4) Just because you've reached the "A" row doesn't mean you're done. You need to hit the hidden rocks there too. :v 5) You only get one chance. 6) ANYONE who reaches the other side (BEYOND row A gains immunity. The cabin with the most campers on the other side wins immunity. 7) You may list out or draw on the grid to mark out your intended route. You must list your entire route -- you can't go one square at a time.
FAQ ~So...we only post one move at a time? ~~Nope, you can RP out your post, but at the bottom of it you need to post the -entire- path you want to take. (Either listed out, or a link to a drawing of it) And you only get one chance. ~How will we know if we won? ~~Either Chef or myself will post telling you just how far along you made it >3 ~How long is the path to safety? ~~Like I'd tell you that. Hrmph, not laughing at me now, are you? >D

Where there was Chris, there was Chef. He arrived soon after the campers, two lawn chairs, two drinks (complete with little umbrellas), and a... wait, was that a camera? He nodded a greeting to the host and flashed a big grin at the campers before handing the drinks to Chris in order to set up the lawn chairs. The lawn chairs were angled towards the river, far enough away to not get splashed yet close enough to offer a fantastic view of the proceedings.
"Heh heh heh," Chef chuckled, taking his drink from Chris and settling himself down in his chair, "This is gonna be great."

Oh god, more swimming? crying
Zoë took a deep breath before hopping into the river. Was the current going to pull her under? What about gators? Could the sharks have returned? What about jagged rocks that could cut her poor paws? Maybe piranhas lurked in the murky river, waiting to gobble up paws and legs and toes and - oh god, was she really going to swim it?!
Calm down, she though to herself, shaking her head as the water rose higher the further she walked into the water. You can DO this, Zoë!
Feeling the current of the river, Zoë let the water move her as she paddled upwards. Up, to the side, up, to the side... would she be able to make it across?

"Sure is Chef-man!" Chris snickered, settling down in his own chair. Mmm, normal clothes, comfy chair, fruity drink...and soon to be suffering campers. HA! This day was perfect.
...Near perfect. He still had to fix his hair.

No sense dilly-dallying on this sort of thing; there was no way in HELL to guess the mad host's madder methods. Sighing as she overlooked the river, Annabel furrowed her brow a moment, seriously seeming to contemplate her path. She was entirely enamored in her thoughts, as if trying to figure out what the hell she was going to do. Maybe if she went straight, then turned...?
Muttering a very quiet swear that possibly rhymed with 'duck it,' Annabel simply turned to Chris, raised her eyebrows with a grin, and took off, not even looking back as she made her attempt.

Em's first step ended with a splash. There were several more splashes and a flash -- Chef lowered his camera, and pulled out a commemorative photo of the event: "Ha ha! There's our first one, Chris-man!"

Several flailing motions later and...well all that remained was a picture of the aftermath. "This is GREAT dude!" Chris laughed, sipping happily at his drink. No better way to cheer the host up than causing mass suffering.

Axl just stared. Man, this was really stepping it up after the last few challenges, eh? Shaking his head, he stepped toward the river. Might as well get it over with, right?
Shrugging, he turned to give a salute to his teammates and to Chris, then took a deep breath and made a run for it.

Of all the campers he had -really- expected Annabel to try harder. Really SHE should have known the path would be some kind of insanity...
Though now that he thought of it a straight path would have been pretty humorous, hehehehehehe...
But, alas, this path wasn't straight, and the first step Annabel took led to
"Hahaha, it's a good look for ya Belbel!"
