Yanreil lay on his back in the middle of a flower field, his arms spread straight out and his horse legs sticking up slightly in the air. As the clouds crept by overhead, he thought up several silly stories for each of them while they changed shape. After a little while, he rolled over onto his stomach, propping his head up with his hands, to look at the ursataur sitting not far away, in the shade of a large tree. Yan seemed almost half asleep with the dreamy look he had on his face as he thought up a poem on the spot.
"A big bear with a small bow Bent over and reaching below Picked a bunch of what he now carries A handful of sweet blackberries!"Taiomah chuckled, popping the last of the berries into his mouth. "Hey now, I offered you some, but you didn't want any." He winked jokingly. "I'm honored to be the subject of one of your poems, though, Yan."Yan shrugged at the complement, but smiled. "It was not that great, Tai, but thank you. Simply a spur-of-the-moment stanza.""Even so," Tai replied, heaving himself up and moving over the the stream a few feet away, plopping down again to wash off the sticky berry juice from his fingers.

Harmony tapped the path infront of her with a large staff. It's knarled off edges made excellent hand holds to help her gain footing on the tipsy river stones. Her bright green eyes looked out over the forest without a shred of emotion. Getting lost was part of growing up, and she'd resigned herself to it hours ago. The wide brimmed straw hat kept daytime distractions at a minimum so her eyes could stay on the path.
She'd heard voices just a bit further up and vaguely she wondered if they were here to eat her. Surely that couldn't be the case, as she was surrounded by trees and thus, they must be the ones plotting how best she should be served. Personally, when asked, she planned to say with chestnut sauce. No peppers, please, she was allergic.
Still venturing up the river's path, she spotted a ray of sunshine on the ground. Maybe if she could bottle it up, the forest would see it as a great offering and spare her life.
However, the closer she got to it, the more disappointed she became. "Oh," Harmony frowned. "Your not sunshine at all." He was the brightest centaur she'd ever seen in her life, herself included, but still he wasn't the thing in which would please the forest. She tapped the ground once with her staff and slowly began to turn around.

Camellia was in a foul mood. Not only had she been distracted enough to lose sight of Sakari, but the ursataur's tracks were leading outside of their forest home! 'Please don't tell me...' Camellia frowned as she recognized a field full of flowers. 'She's out here somewhere?'
"Sa-Ka-ri!" The yell turned into a soft meow of frustration. Here she had sworn to protect Sakari, but there was no way she could do that without knowing her whereabouts. "Wait a second..." Was that the fuzzy form of an ursataur up in the distance? Camellia nodded and started running towards the taur, but paused in her tracks when she saw two centaurs there as well. Humming a soft tune to herself, Sakari wandered up the stream. The rocks beneath her paws were slick, yet she was enjoying the game of balance. Her hair hung in wet strands around her face as it was still drying from the quick wash she had given it just a few minutes before.
Her staff thudded silently against the stream bed as she started to climb out of the waters. It was only then that she noticed the other ursataur who was right in front of her. "Oh!" Surprise at seeing another taur let alone an ursataur made her grip on her staff fail causing Sakari to fall back into the stream with a splash.

Owen was watching these taurs all come together, hidden safely up in the branches of a nearby tree. His pupils turned to slits as he focused on each one individually, searching them for anything valuable. He had a sack tied to his back, and when he shifted, it clinked and jingled faintly. He smirked, letting out a soft purr as he continued to observe them. Someone had to have SOMETHING on them. Though...he didn't really need much else right now, he'd made a good haul today, back at that hut. He wondered, sometimes, what people were thinking. Don't build your hut out in the middle of nowhere, then store all your money in such an obvious place while you're gone. Seriously. He was only disappointed that it had been so easy.

Russell trotted through the field with a wicker basket slung from his arm with a small gardening shovel inside. He had come out today to look for some wildflowers for his flower shop. There was something about wildflowers that were so beautiful. It was probably their lovely bright colors. He spotted some Queen Ann's Lace, squatting down next to the bunch. He smiled, placing his basket onto the grass. Taking out his shovel poking it gently into the soft dirt.

Yanreil blinked up at the centauress that stood over him. "Um, no, I am not. Sorry to disappoint you?" He watched her curiously, wondering what she had meant, as he sat up. He and Taiomah did not seem to be alone anymore, as a cattaur and - was that another ursataur? - showed up, as well as a centaur who seemed more focused on the flowers than the taur.
Taiomah jumped slightly as he was startled by the arrival of a fellow ursataur - and a very pretty one at that. "Oh my!" he exclaimed as she fell, quickly clambering to his feet and going over to stand by her. Holding out his hands to help her up, he asked worriedly, "Are you okay? You didn't hurt yourself too badly, I hope?"

"Cor blimy it's hot out 'ere!" Vladamir shielded his eyes with his arm as he looked up to the sky. His pelt could almost compete against the Sun's radiant apparel. "Well arn't you just a 'luminatin beat today?" he grinned, squinting slightly. Turning his head back down, he placed his hands on his hips, scanning around himself. "Hm?" ears perked up and swiveled as he could smell and hear other's were near. "Oh boy.. I wonder what kinda character's are around.." a little look of nervousness crosses his face as his brows furrowed. Brushing back his bangs, for them to only fall back in place, Vladamir walked slowly towards the meadow, as he was higher up on a hill. As he declined down, his pace picked up to a little trot, slowing once he got to the base of said hill. His arms stretched back, as well as a wide yawn craned. Closing his eye's casually, arms resting behind his head, he lolly-gaged towards the group.

Harmony tilted her head up to look out into the surrounding forest. Already it was plotting how best to eat her. She could hear it's voices now, some louder than others and the unmistakable sounds of movement. Looking back at the male, the centauress tucked her legs under herself and after tossing her staff to the side she took off her sunhat. Inside it she put a pouch of gold that she pulled from her top. "It's quite alright. I'll just think up a new plan to catch sunbeams."

Still shocked, Sakari just shook her head. "I'm...fine." Her smaller hand clasped his as she attempted to stand in the water. The staff banged sharply against a loose rock, but her balance was saved by the hands helping her.
A small sheepish grin flitted over her features, "I'm more soaked than anything else." She laughed softly as she shook her soaked fur, "So I guess I'm really cooled off now."
Looking up at him, Sakari couldn't help but to look startled once more. "You're an ursataur." The words slipped past her lips as she stared at Taiomah, too distracted to notice that quite a gathering was going on near them.
Camellia groaned. Where were all these taurs coming from? Out of all the times for Sakari to venture out into the open...the cattaur shook her head with a frustrated sigh. Her mood only worsened when she listened to this other centaur. Catch sunbeams? That was just...crazy!
But her expression changed as she looked over towards the stream. She recognized that staff! So Sakari really was over there. But who was that with her? Still Camellia couldn't help but to ask out loud as she noted more coming their way, "Who are all of you guys and why...why are you here?" Not that it was her turf or anything since they had wandered out of the forest themselves. But for there to be so many other taurs at once!

Owen caught sight of Harmony's money pouch, and his ears perked. He started to purr, and stood up, slinking along the thick branch, then climbing head first, halfway down the tree, before pushing off with his hind legs, and landing gracefully. His eyes flicked from one taur, to the other, then went back to Harmony, and he put on a convincing smile, before he made his way over to them, watching Harmony out of the corner of his eye.

After he had piled the flowers into the basket, Russell sat back, surprised at the sudden influx of taur. He wasn't really good at socializing with others. He noticed Tai, the kind ursataur he had met previously. He seemed busy though, so the centaur decided it was best to keep quiet for the moment. Russell started to hum quietly to himself as he tried to keep himself occupied for the time being.

Yanreil nodded, somewhat interested by the centauress' odd behavior, but also not sure how to act around her. He looked up at the purple cattaur. "Greetings," he offered, since she seemed to be slightly confused, and a green cattaur had come as well, so he thought they all might as well share their names. The centaur with the flowers and the cervi who had just appeared might possibly join their group as well. "My name is Yanreil. I am here because... my friend invited me, I guess," he replied to the purple cattaur's question, gesturing to where the ursataurs stood.
Taiomah let out a deep chuckle. "Why, so I am. As are you. It's good to see you, I haven't seen one of our kind in - oh, but forgive me. I've forgotten introductions." With a slight bow at the waist, he nodded his head. "I'm Taiomah."

Harmony tilted her head back to see what all the fuss was about and was pleasantly surprised to see only the flowers were seeking her out. Taking form of a cattaur. Very clever, forest. Smiling casually, the centauress tilted her head to the side and shrugged her shoulders. "I became lost on my way to visit family after closing my shop. " She did so hope her answer would please the spirit, for she could see another one, this time a male centaur and didn't want to think she had called for reinforcements.
She looked around the group and saw a cervitaur approaching. Though he held no flowers, she didn't feel as if he were real enough to shirk off. So, she bowed her head and smiled at him. "Hello."

"I haven't either...Oh!" Sakari faintly blushed at his bow, "Really...there's no need for such formalities." Yet, she too bowed with a small smile, "I'm Sakari, Taiomah."
Her gaze happened to slide past him for that breif instant and she took in the gathering of taurs, "Where did everyone come from?" More surprises...Sakari hadn't seen this many taurs at once in a long time.
"Your friend invited you?" Camellia's frown deepened as she looked at the odd gathering, "Did he also invite everyone else in the isles here as well?!" The cattaur's words were soft but more of a hiss then a statement. Then she looked over to the female centaur, "Lost? You're lost? I'm sure that wouldn't have happened if you would've just taken the right path? Jeez..." She for one was sure that she hadn't done anything to confuse the centaur. After all today she was far more busy with keeping up with Sakari then to play around with travelers.
Yet...really! Though she noted that it wasn't exactly aaall of the isles, but still! How many more were coming as well? Maybe she should just go grab Sakari and run for it? Sighing Camellia tossed that idea away quickly. This would only be something that Kari would have fun with. Another sigh escaped, she might as well accept this.
