http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii310/bubblegumtensai/CeinIsles/xxgekokujyou_Arphenion_Adult.jpgArphenion was sitting underneath a large tree on the outskirts of town, his sketchbook open as he sketched the town in front of him. His hand moving back and forth across the paper flawlessly as he glanced up every now and then to look for distinct details. "Let's see..." he muttered to himself, "What else is there to add...?" he looked around vacantly for inspiration, but to no avail found none.

((Wowowow. Burryna's really pretty! Arphenion's gonna enjoy himself. ;D))
The cattaur was mindlessly shading random sections of the sketch when he caught an unfamiliar scent. Looking around curiously to see what it was, he spotted a figure in the distance. His mouth formed into a small grin, pleased it see that it was a woman. Or at least it looked like a woman.
Pushing his hair back, Arphenion decided it was best to sit back and watch them even though he wanted to see the figure up close. He pretended to be preoccupied with his sketch, his tail raised inquisitively in the air.

((Thanks! I thought she'd be fun to bring out))
She had only heard the voice for a moment, and guessed it was to her left. Wondering what someone was doing out here she turned her steps and walked off her path. Burryna would at least walk past who ever it was and made it so she wasn't walking directly to whoever was sitting under the tree.
As she got closer, it appeared to be a cattaur, a male cattaur. She grinned a bit to herself.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw that she was advancing. He couldn't help but grin. Not only was she a female, but she was breathtakingly beautiful (well every woman was beautiful to him, but this female was different). Arphenion couldn't help but to speak out first, "And what is a beautiful woman like you doing out here? I'm surprised there isn't a horde of men following after you..." he couldn't help but purr quietly his eyes resting the wolftaur, his artwork forgotten.

At the sound of the male's voice, she could tell it was the same one she heard from the path. He also seemed to be alone, save for what ever was in the book of his. Burryna ran a hand through her thick hair. A grin spread across her face at his words and she stopped a few feet in front of him. "I could ask you the same thing." He wasn't bad looking himself and was surprised to find him alone. "I'm just on a walk, it's hard to escape the hordes of men that follow me." His purr didn't escape her ears and she grinned inwardly.

Arphenion chuckled, "I don't know why I'm alone either..." setting his book and pencil to the ground, he stood up and stretched before looking at her again. "I must be extremely lucky then, for I have caught you alone and unattended." he winked at her, "Although I'd think I would be even luckier if I had a chance to know your name..."

"Well you must have escaped them before you came out here." Burryna watched him set the stuff down, what had he been doing, reading or drawing perhaps. She smiled a bit at his wink. "Lucky for you indeed. I'm Burryna and who might you be."

"It's true. Women can't resist me and my charm." He was quite pompous at times, but it was true. Most of the cattauresses in the town couldn't quite keep their eyes (and sometimes hands) off of him. He moved closer to her until they were only a foot apart and purred, "Burryna. A very exotic name for such an exotic woman. I am called Arphenion, but you're welcome to call me anything you like..."

She knew that feeling too, well with men following around. Though they tended to be less touchy and liked to show off more. "I"ll judge that charm when I see it." Burryna grinned some and watched him move. "It is a rather unique name, isn't it." His name was quite different too. "Anything? Any suggestions on that?"

"I'll be waiting for your thoughts." the cattaur shrugged, "Almost everyone in my family have unique names. I guess I'm not very different from them." Arphenion put his arm around her shoulder, "The nicknames are up to you. Let's take a walk shall we?"

Burryna grinned. "From what I have seen, expect to be waiting a while." She made no move when he put his arm on her shoulder. "I'll figure one out as we walk then, though I've no clue where there is to walk around here." The wolftaur ran a hand through her thick hair.

"Just wandering around is nice. One gets to see new things that way." he led her into the forest, "It's where I get most of my inspiration for my drawings. That and taurs." Arphenion said boastfully. He was proud of his artistic abilities. And Burryna would be a perfect taur for him to sketch. He would have to ask her later...

"I'm very much a wanderer. I don't stay in one place very much." It was true, she didn't have much of a home at all. Well not having family or a mate meant she could go anywhere. "So that is what you were doing when I happened upon you, wasn't it." Burryna hadn't much talent for art, though decided to leave that out. "What were you drawing earlier? Mind showing me some of them later."

"That's what I was doing, yes. I was just sketching the outskirts of the town. It looks very appealing today." Arphenion understood Burryna's position perfectly, although he had a family, he had recently left them to travel on his own. It was much more exciting than staying at home and doing nothing.
"I would be delighted to show you my sketches." he grinned and moved closer to her, "I would also be delighted if you wouldn't mind posing for me."
