well i finally bit the bullet today and suggested to my AOL group that i made a guild for them.
I've done this mainly out of selfishness i will admit, there's 5 stay at homes who can produce up to 300 emails a day between them sweatdrop
which isn't much fun to come home to at 10.30 pm i can tell you! Well the few who are currently online seem up for it, one has signed up already and is catching old boots at Bass'ken Lake lol

so i'm likely to be asking people, Nibbles in particular questions if i get stuck redface
i hope i haven't bitten off more than i can chew here.
We haven't decided on a name yet though so i'll take things one step at a time biggrin

when we're up and running you Purkles are of course more than welcome to come and visit our little English enclave 3nodding

lol...that is a very smart idea there jelly....break the guild forum into different threads....if it saves you time in your email then i think the 20k will be well worth it wink ....and at least having it here..you can respond and earn your gold back xd

you don't get to get your paws on the entry fee though do you, it will be stashed away for future use.
i'm glad people have showed some interest, i was afraid the suggestion would fall flat, but they seem keen and one has already offered to be crew, we're still discussing a name though rofl
i think that's the hardest part of it all!

So far as I know, it is inaccessible still. But I would guess it shouldn't be too long before they are able to be used. You could just ask for people to help you out with costs by sending gold to your guild captain. Put on the front page that entry fee is (whatever you want to set it at) but donations to help replace the cost of set-up are welcome and to be sent to (name of appropriate account)

Guild gold is usable but only to buy seperate forums in the guild. See we could do it here, but the cost outways the need for it. However if anyone wants to buy there own forum in here, it can be done. For example, say we wanted to air out a bit, we could give bippy here very own forum here within the purkle couch. It would look just like the regular forums by having hers be at the top. Does that explain or confuse?

lmao, see she even made herself cry with the fumes that time lol

my guild is created! completely empty at the moment, i'm working on the front page, it's called Halcyon Days, a retreat for the Gaians' of Great Britain.
we're having a bit of a debate about whether i need that apostrophe or not, i may as well remove it i think.
i'm now going to hunt for a union Jack or something to put on the front page, i found a nice small pic of a tea set for the small banner, but it was just showing up as a broken image earlier crying
then i shall scour the Captains' guild for info!

lol, well i was totally unimpressed with the captains' guild! silly me, i ws expecting it to have a few more adults rolleyes
can't see it being much use to me. i want to create some threads but i'm too tired now, i'd like to decorate them a bit, but i don't have the patience for finding dividers and banners and so forth now, i'm ready for some sleep 3nodding
