Divine stretched out lightly, reading a book as he waited for his husbands to return home. Kuschel, Jade, and Kodiak were down for naps, Connor was visiting her Shark, and the rest of the family was who knows where, probably on dates. Really, it was a quiet afternoon in that household and the swan man couldn't be more pleased. Now if only Pash and Pyran would get back, he'd be able to have a quiet afternoon with them.

The angels in question arrived home only moments later as if summoned by their husband's desire to see them. " Divine where are you?" Pash called out as he slipped his shoes off, the green haired handle carried a large giftbox very carefully. It had taken a lot of work to find this and a lot of money to procure it after finding, he needed to be as gentle with this package as possible. Behind him Pyran was smiling and purring softly, the redhead certain Divine would love the gift.

The white haired male smiled as he heard them enter. "In the bedroom." he called out, smiling from his position on the bed. He'd pushed it closer to the window so as to be able to bask in the sunlight but still have room to stretch out. The window seat just wasn't long enough for him.

The pair smiled and hurried to join him though being quiet so as not to wake the sleeping toddlers, naptime was sacred.
" We got you something" Pash explained once they were in the room and seated on the bed. He held out the box to the other and smiled.
Pyran's tail flicked behind him in anticipation and he watched Divine carefully to see how he'd react.

The man smiled, opening the package slowly before blinking in surprise. He was staring down at...an egg? Well, it wasn't a cabbage at least. "An egg?" he inquired, curious.

Pash nodded " I know we have a lot of children and more coming " thank god they had a big house " But well Pyran and I wanted to get you something special."
"It's an egg from a special type of being called a songbird" Pyran continued " It's going to turn into a swan kid" and they'd made sure to verify this information before purchase.
" We wanted you to have a child that would be more like you." Since none of them could be certain what the ones currently growing inside the man would turn out like.

Divine blinked at it before smiling. He carefully set the little egg in its box on the nightstand and moved to hug both of his husbands. "Thank you both."

The pair hugged him and wrapped their wings around him, each glad he had been happy becuase it wasn't really something they could return. " You can't name it anything silly" Pyran warned.

"Why would I name it something silly?" the swan man asked with a raised brow, reaching up to pat his husband's head gently. "Anyway, isn't there some sort of rule in your culture that the youngest kid names the next one?"

Pyran shrugged " People always name swans kids after that girl from that stupid play thing." It was in his mind about as overused and cliche as Juliet. The very thought of the names making the hybrid man lay his ears back against his head.
Pash nodded the green haired angel smiling " Yes although we didn't let Connor name Kodiak and Kuschel so I assumed you wouldn't be in favour of them naming this one when it was born." Not that he actually trusted the cabbage born twins to come up with something supportable anyways, they were rather young.

"That's because Pink and Bear aren't good names." the man pointed out, "anyway, if I don't like the name Odette that much anyway. I was thinking something along the lines of like Gail for a girl."

" That's not too bad" Pyran admitted, had a nice ring to it " What if it's a boy?"
Pash actually hoped it was a girl, they needed more girls in the house and he liked having little daughters they appealed more to his more emotional nature.

"Don't know yet. We'll think of something." Divine said, pondering for a bit as he leaned on Pash lightly. "Maybe something like Jericho or Aaron. There are a lot of boys around so we could probably think up something good."

Pash smiled as he wrapped his arms around the other man "Mmhm, it will works itself out once the egg hatches, until then we shouldn't over think it though." He didn't want to lose Divine to a baby book name for several weeks or anything.

The other male snorted, reaching up to pat Pash's head. "Who do you think I am, your cousin? I am not going to go get lost on the internet trying to find useless items because I'm afraid of being a bad parent. I love Merrill like another brother, but that's just a silly way to act."
