When Haine was 12 her mother went away for a business trip leaving Haine with her father and brother. Haine's father took advantage of Haine and sexually abused her and even raped her. Haine kept quiet about for a year before she broke down on told her brother, who then told their mother. Haine's mother quickly kicked the father out of the house and filed a divorce. Haine's mother sent her to the island for the summer after getting in trouble with the cops several times because of having late night parties.
