It was a massacre, the fallen lay broken and torn across the battlefield. They would never see another day, another sidewalk, dance floor or office. The shoes had come to the end of their lives, met their end in the jaws of the beast. Now, covered in drool on the wooden floor of the bedroom they were good for nothing but the garbage.
Ra was the first to witness the scene. The huge puppy lying at the crime scene, chewing on one of his expensive pairs of dress shoes. Italian leather.
He stared at the dog for a moment and shook his head.
"B!" He shouted, walking forwards to grab the mutt by the collar. "B! Your dog is destroying things again."

Obsidian looked up from the meal she had been cooking and gave a little laugh at Ra's shout. Her dog. Go must have destroyed something of his again. Turning down the heat, she walked towards the bedroom and quickly put a hand over her lips to hide the surprised smirk that fell across them.
"Oh... wow. Ne, I'm so sorry," she said, removing her hand once she had regained composure. "He didn't chew anything else, did he?" she asked, glancing around the room.

Ne shook his head and attempted to wrestle one of Obsidian^s heels from the mutts mouth.
"No, no. He seems to be very satisfied with the shoes." He rolled his eyes and held the shoe up for her to see, a long line of drool hanging down from it.

"My heels," she declared, stepping quickly into the room to take what was left of her shoe from Ra. Running her hand over the damage, grimacing at the slime she came away with, she looked down at Go and put on a very stern face.
"Bad Go. Very bad! You know better mister," she said sternly, waving the shoe at his nose and getting a puppy smile in return for his admonishment. "Don't you give me that look. It's not going to save you this time," she smirked a little, unable to keep the amusement out of her face.

Ra rolled his eyes at her half arsed berating of the dog and started to collect the damage, grimacing a little as his skin touched the slimy dog drool. Why hadn't he gotten a smaller breed for her.
"You're supposed to tell him off properly. I mean, last week he totally ate up those cushions my mum brought us."

Obie watched Ra start to pick up the carnage and motioned for Go to sit, smiling broadly as he did so.
"Well, you shouldn't have left them out where he could get to them," she said, looking down at him and grinning as his tail began to wag. "Besides, how can I tell him off properly with a face like this?" she asked, crouching down to give him a good rub down and getting her face cleaned by his massive tongue in the process. Laughing, she wiped her face and looked up at Ra. "Can you honestly tell me you find it easy to yell at him?"

Ra watched her and smirked a little, shaking his head in exhasperation as he lookedd down to the chewed remains of his shoes.
"I didn't leave them out, and yeah, it's hard but we have to be firm with him B. Elase he's going to cost us a fortune in repairs and replacements."
He looked at the silly dog and picked up another shoe. "It's like a kid, you wouldn't let a kid destroy your clothes and not tell them off, would you?"

Obie pouted a little and looked back to Goliath.
"Well, no. But he doesn't really know any better, do you baby?" she said, scratching him behind his ears. "We'll work on it though, okay?" she smiled and glanced back at Ra. Rising to her feet, she snapped her fingers and gestured for Go to leave the room.
"Out Go," she demanded and smiled as he rose to his feet, then sighed as he jumped a little instead of listening. "Okay... okay, maybe he needs to go to school or something," she sighed in defeat, looking back at Ra.

Ra watched the dog and smirked a little more as he didn't quite get what Obie was trying to get him to do.
"They have dog school?" He asked, reaching for the bin and throwing the shoes in. He had never had a pet before, it was one of the things that had sold the puppy to him, Obie's happiness and his own disire for something cute and fluffy to look after. "We should sign him up, he's smart. I'll bet he'll be top of the class in no time."

Obie laughed a little and nodded, reaching down for Go's collar.
"They do. Obedience school. I suppose it's just as much for us as it is for them," she smirked and pulled the beast out of their bedroom. Smirking more at his words, she looked back and released him so he could trot over to drink noisily at his water bowl.
"Of course he will be. He's incredibly smart and he already knows some things. We just need to fine tune a few commands," she smirked and looked over to Go. "Like the other day when he ran off on me. Not fun," she smirked, running her fingers through her hair.

Ra watched the silly dog and closed their wardrobe, that, admittedly he might have left open.
"That sounds good, we can try and get a place on Saturdays, then we can both go." He suggested, walking over to the dresser and grabbing some tissues to wipe up the drool. "Maybe we should get some child locks for the cupboards." He laughed a little and shook his head. "It's like having a kid."

Obie smirked and walked over to slip her arms around him.
"Well, he is our baby after all," she smirked. "And I think that might be a good idea, make sure that he can't open these doors when we're not around. That would be the one downside to this place, the sliding doors," she smirked and leaned up to press a kiss to his lips. "Are you ready for dinner? It's almost done," she smiled up at him.

Ra smirked, a big drooly baby.
He kissed her back and reached for her hand as she declared it time for dinner.
"I am ready, just let me wash my hands."
Jess smiled as she walked up to B and Ra's apartment, it was only a couple of blocks away from her house, just back from the river. As she pressed the bell she breathed in the sweet, summer air.
"Oooh someone's cooking." Her green eyes moved up to look at Kayne. "It was a good idea to stop by."

Kayne laughed and squeezed Jess' hand a little.
"I told you now would be the perfect time. They always eat about the same time, unlike us," he smirked as they waited for someone to answer the door.
Obsidian smiled as Ra kissed her back, then looked to the door as the bell went.
"You go do that. I'll go see who's at the door," she smiled and walked across the apartment to the door where Go was bouncing and barking excitedly. Shoving him aside with great effort, she pulled it open, and smirked as she saw who was on the other side.
"Hey," she smiled and bent down to grab Go's collar as he got overly excited. "Ya'll are just in time. Are you hungry?" she asked, struggling to pull Go back so Jess and Kayne could enter.

Jess laughed and stepped inside the small apartment. She crouched to greet the huge dog.
"Hello baby." She crooned in baby talk, giving him a good rub and laughing as he licked her face. "Aren't you getting big."
Ra washed his hands off and smirked as he walked out to see Jess and Kayne stood in the hallway.
"Ah, the nose never fails. You two always manage to turn up when theres something cooking. Don't you have a kitchen." He teased.
