Most of her wounds from her last fight with him were almost healed. She was starting to get used to the main that he inflicted. In fact some of the soreness from being tossed around didn't even affect her anymore. But she was starting to run out of ways to tick him off. It teemed everything she did was starting to get old. She was running out of ideas, and in a way she was thinking about giving up. No! She couldn't give up, she wouldn't give up, no way not for her. She couldn't give up, it wasn't in her.
Yet she wasn't even that sure how she felt about him anymore. She had this hate for him, she knew she hated him. Yet... at the same time... she had a odd attraction to him. Something about being tossed around and the male not giving in to her ways was attractive to her. She wondered how he treated the other females, she didn't pay that much attention to him when he was with the other females... He wondered how he treated them when they were in heat. She hated how the other females crawled around, begging for attention. She snorted at the idea, the other males loved it around that time. She was slightly nervous about when she was going to be next going into cycle... it was her time very, very soon, so she thought. She didn't pay much attention to her body lately. Mostly to her wounds she had to take care of them. She growled at the idea of him getting close to her she wasn't going to let him get close! It would be over her dead body... Then again he was a lot more powerful than herself she had learned that... But again! She wasn't going to give in!
She had an idea, maybe another way to get under his skin, another attempt. She laid out on his sleeping place, it was something that she started to do more often if he was around or not. But there was something she was going to do different. She didn't care much about his reaction to her laying up there but she was way more interested in the idea of how he was going to react to her not reacting, at all. She wasn't going to speak to him, wasn't going to move she was going to act like he wasn't even there. Yeah, that would be a great idea in her mind. However in the back of her mind she knew it was going to be a challenge for herself. It was going to be hard not to blow up at him if he kept pushing her buttons and she knew that was what he was going to do. But right now she was going to sit back and wait for him to come back to the den.
This was going to be a interesting 'experiment'.
She stretched out a little more and started cleaning one of her paws, careful to make sure that she wasn't laying on any wounds making sure she wasn't going to be pulling her sore muscles. Ah, that was good, now to wait.

Sometimes, the weather was unpredictable; irritatingly so. It was a cool evening, full of shade and swift breezes. It was the perfect time of day for a hunt. Or a nap.
Or his banu...
Hmmm~, what to do...
Tariq'ra'd pawed at a broken tree branch above him, his back flat on the dirt. He batted at it, his expression bored. He wondered what had broken the branch to make it hang like a dead arm. When the thought of lightning came to his mind, he grinned. He rolled onto his feet and shook the dust from his fur, a breeze sweeping through the cloud of dirt and blowing it away. It rushed through his mane, and the lion narrowed his eyes and focused them on his den in the distance.
Even from there, he could smell O'tep. She was always in there; in that den...She didn't go out much. Though her official status was kajira, to Tariq, she was his banu; maybe even beybanu. And compared to his other banu, O'tep was the most intriguing and consuming. She was very different from normal lionesses. They went out more, with his permission. But not O'tep. He often silently guessed at her past, putting pieces together and reading through her expressions and gestures. She was easy to read, despite being hardened.
All those O'tep-flavored thoughts in his head spurred the male forward, and he dragged himself along the dirt towards his den, not looking away from the entrance in the distance as he went; not even to nod at someone who may have been passing. Once he had something to focus on, he focused completely.
Ahhh, O'tep...
She was very unfortunate that Tariq was so bored.

O'tep could smell him coming.
She could smell it so much. It was a interesting smell to her. It made her excited but at the same time made her angry and also made her disgusted. It was an interesting combo for her but it was oh so true. She scraped her claws on the rock under her for a few times before laying her head back down. she was wondering if they were going to get into a scrap this time, if only she knew about how bored he was. If she did then she might have wandered some where else.... MIGHT have.
Her tail twitched behind her as she could smell him getting closer and closer. She growled softly before staring at the front of the den. She had a feeling he was going to proudly wander in any second now. She closed her eyes for a moment waiting for him to step in. When he did she opened her eyes once more, watching him very carefully. She was half of the way ready for what might happen.

Mixed scents of Tariq's den flowed out of the entrance and wrapped around him, seeming to greet him, and the male stepped inside, instantly bathed in coolness and shade. It didn't take him long at all to spot O'tep, for he knew where she would be before he even caught sight of his own den. He grinned at her expression and position on his sleeping place, head tilting strangely in some gesture of greeting.
"Good day, O'tep." he said kindly. He seemed like he was going to say something else, but paused, seeming to wait for something. His eyes trailed over her, then fixed themselves on her eyes. "You're supposed to greet me back, O'tep." he said childishly, as if she had done something silly and funny; something laughable. But it wasn't laughable. She was to do what she was told, and what he taught her. When she didn't, there was hell to pay. A polite greeting called for a returned polite greeting. Period.
But gracious as he was, the male gave the female a few more moments to reply before he crept towards her, ready to punish her for her mistakes. He was bored, and not to be trifled with.

O'tep couldn't help but to just stare up at him. She didn't show and particular expression on her face. It did not look amused though. Even though on the inside she was excited to find out how he was going to act. As he walked closer to her and said his greeting she moved slightly shifting her paws so they hung over the edge of the rock and putting her head on her arms. Arching a small brow at him before shrugging to his next words.
She was going to be silent. Yes, some reason she felt like this was going to work. That was until he started to walk closer to her. Of course a few things went through her mind. One thing at the moment was to figure out if she was going to get up or not. If she didn't move there was a chance of majorly getting hurt. Then again if she did move there was a chance of her getting majorly hurt.
She looked at him and sneered softly before she let out a hiss, It didn't count as talking, before she spat in his face. Keeping her glare steady as she stared back at his eyes.

It almost made Tariq'ra'd happy to see O'tep acting in such a way. Her less than out-right rebellious display only meant she was beginning to crumble; to fade. Her will to fight back was beginning to diminish, and it was with a sight sense of glee that he regarded the black and white striped lioness once he realized that. On any other day, she would've cursed at him, shouted, or jumped down from his spot and started a fight. But now...
Now she was silent.
Tariq knew that didn't mean she still wouldn't fight back; on the contrary, he expected her to. But it did mean that she was going to fight less and less until she wouldn't fight at all. Then, she could finally be regarded as a banu. And maybe even become his beybanu...mm, that was a nice thought...
When cold spit splashed on the male's cheek, he was still smiling slightly, pink eyes glowing in the shadows of the den as he gazed at his kajira. Then, he reached a dark paw up, wiped his cheek, and licked his paw.
"Spitting isn't very lady-like, O'tep." he stated calmly, never tearing his eyes away from hers. "It's also rude. You should apologize."

She stared up at him, her eyes full of the words that she would not speak. As she stared she wanted to much to growl '******** you' but she just kept staring up at him. Her hair bristled and her body was tense. If she needed to she was ready to fight. she was more than ready to fight. But he wasn't reacting the way she wanted him to. It was even more frustrating to her.
She growled loudly before hissing at him. She stared at him then leaned forward before clamping on top his maw with her jaw. She bit down as hard as she could before letting good, tasting some of her blood in her mouth. It was a interesting taste but she was getting used to it with all of the times they have gotten into it. As she hissed again she slunk back a bit. She wanted to know how come he just couldn't react the way that she wanted to and either leave her alone or get really pissed off right now. Why didn't he!? It made her so mad.
She really didn't enjoy this feeling of not talking. She felt like she couldn't get anywhere she could have a reason to start a fight. It made her feel so helpless. There was also this other helpless feeling that she wanted him. Just over all. She wanted to be like his other banus but there was still that part that she wanted to run away and go some where else, she couldn't leave Ukoo though. She wasn't even that sure of what she wanted to do but she was going to take the days once by one.

Despite what O'tep most likely thought, Tariq didn't become angry by the bite, nor did he seem at all pained. In fact, he liked it, and he grinned a near psychotic grin. A small stream of blood trickled to his mouth, coloring his left fangs with red. He remained motionless, watching O'tep move back, but then he lunged forward, grabbing the lioness's face and neck with his claws and pulled her rather violently from the elevated space she had been on. He threw her to the floor, pink eyes dancing over her before he lunged at her again, black claws ripping swiftly over her cheek once.
There was a pause, two hearbeats filling the den with their heavy sounds, and the scent of two kinds of blood moving through the air.
"I punished you because I knew you heard me, O'tep." he said calmly, gaze quivering over the female's bloodied face. "If you hadn't hear me, I wouldn't have punished you since it would've been a simple mistake. But you did hear me. And you did nothing. So I punished you. Do you see?" he explained quietly, no trace of a smile on his face. He knew full well that O'tep did, in fact, see. He knew she understood. She just chose not to act like a good lioness. She chose to rebel and get hurt. She chose punishment. Maybe she liked it?
Ahhhhh, if she liked it, she was making a big mistake...But Tariq couldn't help but enjoy the thought; enjoy it a little too much.
"All you have to do is apologize." he said sincerely, stepping closer.

She saw that smile. She wanted to tear him a part with that smile. She could feel it under her maw, and on top of that she could just feel the smirk that he had on his face. It made her so aggravated, she snarled before he noticed that look change a bit, next thing that she knew she felt jaws on her face, claws next to them. She felt herself then pulled down, she let out a loud snarl once more. Flailing her limbs out like she did when she had that helpless feeling. She hissed as she felt his claws dig into him. "A-" She snapped her jaw shut trying to keep her mouth shut, she almost slipped a word in there.
She panted loudly trying to keep her cool and trying to hold herself together. She stared at him, her eyes starting into his own. she let out another snarl then swiped a paw at him. In slight attack and slight defense he could take it witch ever way he wanted to she didn't care, she knew that it was going to end up hurt either way. She knew that either way she was going to get tossed around because she was NOT going to apologize.
When he stepped closer. She eyed him, before standing up. She could feel some pain and even noticed some of her own blood drip down on the ground. She snorted at him before wandering toward his sleeping spot. She grunted then flopped down where she was before, acting like he wasn't there, facing her back to him. Flicking her tail around annoyed. He wasn't going to win in her eyes.

It was all very puzzling, but somehow exciting at the same time.
Why was O'tep acting so strangely? So quiet...So unresponsive...Almost...Submissive? But no, there was still the fire of rebellion in her blue eyes. He watched her walk away, pink eyes holding fast to her striped body. What did she think she was doing? Where did she think she was going? Hadn't his actions made any sort of indent in her mind? What game was this...What game was she playing?
It was intriguing.
Tariq jumped up to stand beside O'tep, lowering himself on the ground and pressing himself close to her. His eyes were half-lidded, his maw relaxed, but he smirked.
"I get it, O'tep." he said simply, in an understanding way. "You're too frightened to speak in my presence..."

O'tep glared at Tariq, she saw him coming toward her. She growled lowly she didn't want him to go up there with her. Even though she had a feeling he would she didn't want him to. She tired to ignore him as he got close to her. She eye him, she wanted to slap that smirk off of his face. She wanted to dig her teeth into his neck. She wished she was bigger than him. But she wasn't. instead she was often pushed around because she was too small.
She let out a hiss as he pressed his body against hers. Her hair started to bristle up and she dug her claws into the ground. Her tail whipped around behind her, and her eyes were locked on to him. Then he spoke.
Her eye narrowed as he finished. Her frightened of him? Not at all! No way! She would never be afraid of him. She would never listen to him. She would NEVER give into him. Or so thats what she thought. She looked at him before snarling loudly. She was trying to prove a point. She wasn't going to talk to him. No matter how bad she wanted to scream at him, even though she had a feeling it was the only way to get him to stop. What if she did give in? No she couldn't do that. She wasn't like that.

Her plan was crumbling fast, Tariq could see that plainly. For whatever reason she had decided to give him the silent treatment; something she probably hoped would deter his attempts at dominating her. Maybe it was even a way to placate him? Or maybe irritate him? But it was all failing, at least in Tariq's point of view. No matter which way she turned, how angry her eyes flashed, or how loud her snarls were, Tariq knew one thing he was sure O'tep knew as well.
She would break eventually.
Smiling, eyes half-lidded, Tariq slid closer, flexing his claws up to trace the female's shoulder. "You're doing this for attention, right?" the male guessed aloud, even though it wasn't his solid opinion. "I understand. Things get very chaotic in harems, what with so many banu..." he sighed forlornly, but it was obvious he wasn't at all displeased with the fact he stated from the flicker in his pink eyes. Casting his glance back to his kajira, he smirked again, ears perking. "Let's talk about you, then!" he suggested. "We don't talk much about ourselves, do we, O'tep?" he asked quietly, claws moving over her shoulder lightly. "You've never told me where you came from. I'd like to hear sometime...I'd like to hear your story. And why you're such a mean little girl towards males."
Tail curling 'round until the black tuft on the end flipped over to one side, Tariq moved just a little closer to the striped female, eyes moving over her shoulder as he moved his claws down to her back. "I wonder..." her murmured. "I wonder why...A bad love experience, perhaps? Maybe your heart was broken...Nooo, you're stronger than a heartbreak. So what, then? Not a lover...A bad mother?" he offered. Then his eyes narrowed. "Nooo..." He leaned his face leaning towards the female's ear. His claws moved back over her shoulder, only now their tracing was not so light at all.
"A bad father." he whispered.

O'tep growled as she felt claws run along her shoulders. She shifted slightly, she wasn't enjoying being touched not by him. Or so thats what she was telling herself. The barely felt touch felt good on her shoulder, she fought off a purr though, she wasn't going to let him know that it just felt that good. But he let out a loud growl instead. Her hair bristled then his first guess rolled off of his thought. She couldn't help but to snort at the idea. She didn't want attention. Sure she enjoyed time with Ukoo but that was about it. Otherwise she really didn't want anything to do with him.
She ignored his words the best she could until he started to talk about where she came from. Her hair bristled as she went back to her cubhood. Or what she could remember of it. She always remembered being in control of her father. Him pimping her out to different males as soon as she became a teen. Him abusing her, in anyway possible. She hated it more than anything. She remembered being in this pride, she just wasn't that sure when. She remembered being passed on and now here. She remembered him bringing her here as soon as he got bored of her. She felt bad for her little sister.
She stared forward, still ignoring what he was saying. His guesses were wrong, he wasn't going to get it. She was sure of it. She ignored his touches, even though they were getting rougher. She kept her mouth shut and kept staring forward. She couldn't help it. But then something disturbed her stare.
A bad father.
She let out a loud roar at his words. "SHUT UP!" She screamed. she stumbled up as quickly as her legs could let her, she glared at him before springing forward, her paws wrapping around him and her claws digging in. She reached her neck forward and latched on to his neck through all of his mane, she clamped down and let out a growl as she held on.

The roar of two words sent Tariq into a grinning fit of delight, and as the force of his kajira slammed into him, flipping him onto his back, the male couldn't help but explode into laughter. He liked to think of himself as an intuitive male, skilled in the art of reading people; digging deep down into their inner core, finding their weaknesses in very little time. It was a wary but confident guess, his was. But O'tep's reaction told him he had hit the nail right on the head.
Claws and teeth clutching his fur-covered neck, Tariq simply lied there and allowed the female to do whatever she wished. Her grip was strong, and Tariq noticed for the first time that O'tep was no lithe female. She had muscles.
Pink eyes narrowing as he smiled, Tariq moved his arms over the female's back in an embrace, neck turned up as she bit into his flesh. He stared at the rocky ceiling above him, listening and feeling the kajira's heartbeat against his chest.
"I had a bad father too, O'tep." he said quietly, gaze seeming distant as a small open-mouthed smile still clung to his maw. "But I'm not a bad father. I'm not your bad father. And I'm not my bad father." His voice came out in a slight choke from the pressure on his neck, but it didn't seem to bother him in the least. Hot blood trailed down his ears, and he pressed the female a little closer to him, as if they were merely cuddling and not wrapped in a violent power struggle.
"I only hurt you because I want you to be nice to me..." he murmured.

She was a very strong female. She was small. However because of that and because she knew that she didn't want to be pushed around. Even though she was often was here but she wasn't really pushed around with the females. Males however normally she was. But when it came down to it she could kick a** when she wanted or needed to. She kept her grip on him. The laughing made her angry, her throat started to rumble with more growls and her body was still tense.
But then he confused her. His movement. His sudden niceness. What was going on? was this a trap. Some reason she felt like it was but she wasn't that sure. There was just something about this. She kind of licked it. She listened to him talk... He also had a bad father? No it was different for her. Was it? He made it worse! Or did he? She let go, staring forward and licking the blood off of her white chin and teeth. She was shaking just slightly out of fear. She didn't want to give into him. No she couldn't do that, not at all.
But maybe she could be a little softly for once. Maybe. Just for tonight? She still had that odd attraction for him... She still wanted to get to know him, not be pushed around. She wasn't that sure. Se didn't know what she wanted or what she didn't want.
"I can't give into you." She sneered slightly as she mumbled her words. "You're a male, you're like the other ones. You want to hurt me, you want me to be a zombie just like the others." She looked down closing her eyes for a moment. Kind of enjoying the feeling of his paw around her body.
