O'tep flicked a tail behind her before sighing softly. She licked her lips before looking out of the den. He was gone once more, leaving her and the Banus to wander. She wasn't exactly a Banu, yet she wasn't a Kirjava she was treated like both at times. She sighed as she flicked her hair out of her eyes. Her body was once more sore, but not as sore as it was when she first started to live with Tariq. She was starting to get used to the injuries, she was starting to get used to the soreness and the open wounds. She just knew that she had to be more careful, she knew that she had to keep them clean, it was really easy and with Ukoo fussing over her some times she was fine.
Speaking of Ukoo she loved spending time with her 'sister'. She didn't have that many friends in her life and she was glad to make one at last. She was a sweet heart for sure, she enjoyed the time she spent with the lioness. qwll the times that Tariq was away. She kept to herself often when he was around.
She stood up and wandered out of the den, looking around as she stood at the front of it, looking around. Then she spotted something that she knew. Some one she knew. A smile grew on her face as she started to wander toward the lioness. "Morning Ukoo." She smiled before bumping into her softly and nipping at her muzzle. O'tep was a completely different lioness around other lionesses. More like around others that she liked. And she was very picky with those that she liked...

Ukoo was afraid to leave the den personally. Since the day she was told never to leave unless he told her too, she was skeptical about even going near the entrance without permission. But, she didn't want to sit inside the den while he was gone when she knew there was something she could be doing. As soon as he left, she could barely stand it anymore and walked out, heading straight to the sweet grass that she knew his bed was made from.
She was busy pulling up mouthfuls, humming softly to herself, as her white sister approached. She had a neat pile started by the time someone had come along and before long-would have a pile ready to replace Tariq's. She was about to bend her olive head and grab another mouthful when she was bumped against and nibbled on. She smiled, knowing that the only one she would receive such affection from was O'tep.
"Good morning O'tep." She said softly, turning to face her comrade. O'tep may never know how much she brightened Ukoo's life from the dark and dim to bright and sunny, if only for a few moments a day. "Master Tariq isn't around still correct?" She asked, looking a bit worried.

O'tep was glad to see Ukoo today, she was also glad to see her unharmed, after the time that the other female spent with him she was also okay. O'tep was glad, very glad. She hadn't seen any scars on the female, no scratches, as far as she knew anyway. O'tep must have looked like a wreak compared to her. She looked down at the pile having a feeling of what the lioness was doing. It wasn't like O'tep to help in those things even if Tariq didn't know of it, she had a feeling Ukoo knew that too.
"Yeah he's still out." She nodded before rubbing against the side of her sister and wandering over to the water, lapping some up before turning around to face her 'sister'. She shifted and reached a paw back into the water before rubbing it against her face to clean it off some, looking at the pile of grasses before sighing softly. She wanted to help her sister some times but she knew if she laid a paw on that grass it would smell like her. If it smelled like her then he knew she helped. If she helped then he would think that she was breaking. She didn't want him thinking that. No she still had spirit! She clenched her jaw for a moment before speaking once more
"I'm glad he's out for a while. I get to spend some time just.. Ya know, with out him around." She cleared her throat, she wished it was like this all the time, even though she more of just wanted to be out of the pride... "Its nice with out those... stupid pink eyes following you." She clenched her jaw once more in anger before sighing and staring at the pile. She wasn't much of a morning person.

Ukoo was starting to get closer to O'tep and was beginning to replace the empty void that was family. She looked to her pale sister with calm and serene red eyes, looking down at the pile of grass. She gazed at them for a moment and it was a bit obvious she did not want to talk badly of Tariq. She for one, was not raised in a way to even think such things. She simply, did what was needed to survive.
"Are you too still having trouble?" She asked looking soflty in her sisters direction. She for one did not like the fact that they fought and O'tep got hurt. Ukoo hated that. She was used to the one being hurt in reality. Her neck was starting to heal completly, only leaving a light scar. "I mean... is he still giving you trouble Sister?"
She bent down and pulled another mouthful of grass with silent grace.

O'tep felt a little bad that she wasn't helping her 'sister' it was a little sad, being glad that she finally had some one like family that is. She smiled toward her before craning her neck over toward some of the grasses and swallowed it down. She had heard that grasses were good for her stomach, the taste wasn't the best but at the same time it wasn't something that she'd hate or spit out for eating. She sighed and rested her head on her paws before looking at Ukoo once more before sighing.
"Not exactly trouble." She flicked her hair out of her eyes then looked down at her paws before shrugging. "Eh, I can't give him to give in like those other males." She half of the way hissed the word but she tried to keep her temper down, she didn't want to scare her 'sister' in anyway. She licked one of her paws keeping herself moving some how, she wasn't that sure why, she was some what full of energy today.
"I'm bored." she said simply as she looked down at the paw she was cleaning before she lifted the other paw and started to clean that one too. "I just can't hold still... or find something to do today."

Ukoo watched her sister and wondered deep inside why she was so rebellious. She couldn't really like being passed around like currency from male to male. She couldn't really enjoy being beaten and hurt so badly all the time. She just-didn't understand. She nodded her head... wondering if she would ever have a dream in which she could see O'teps future. She hadn't even really told anyone but her master-and she was going to keep it that way for a while.
"Bored." She said, lifting her chin to gaze around. "When I was baby, when I was bored I'd play with my brother Albiona... we had a special bond." She said softly. He was also a seer and they felt that they had a special connection.
"We could play a game." She said softly

O'tep sighed, reaching out one of her paws and twirled a piece of glass between her toes before looking up at her sister with a slight laugh. "It is seriously boring here some times." She snorted slightly before stretching out again looking up at her 'sister'. She sighed before blinking at what her friend was talking about. Play? what was that? She really have never heard of something like that. Well she thought she had heard cubs talk about it before but she wasn't that sure, not at all. Games... She thought'd she had heard of a game before too but she wasn't that sure of what it was. There was the Game that Tariq played but she was more than sure that Ukoo was going to do that.
"Game?... Play? What are you talking about sis?" She sat up some before flicking her hair out of her eyes truely confused about what the other female was talking about.

Ukoo was tickled at her sisters reaction to her words. She lifted her head and lowered it a few times in excitement. "Yes. I used to play games with my cubs... I'd hide and they would find me... and they'd have to touch me to win. It was very fun." She said, her deposition becoming so sunny it was strange to see her so happy. Truth was, anything that reminded her of her children made her heart swell, even if she didn't see them anymore...
She wasn't even sure if anyone in this pride knew she had cubs.
"Well.. a game can be anything. Like, a guessing game. I give you clues and you guess what I am thinking of. Or there are rough and tumble games, where we wrestle until someone wins. Or... games with things-like sticks. You pick them up and run with them like they are prey...

O'tep looked at the lioness her face was twisted in an odd expression she flicked her tail behind her before scooting forward toward her friend some. She was really confused at what her 'sister' was talking about. Why would you wrestle? You could get hurt. Why would you run with a stick? It made no sense at all? And how would it cound as fun? She sat up and shifted on her haunches.
She moved toward her friend and nipped at her before blinking a bit. "I don't get it." She sat back on her haunches before looking at her friend and shrugging slightly. "Why would you run with a stick like it is a prey if it is a stick?" She arched a brow before lifting a leg and scratching behind her ear.

Ukoo sat up and laughed. "Why, you pretend silly. You pretend that the stick is prey. You run around and flip it in the air for fun, and to practice skills of killing." She said, her voice and mannerisms slightly changing from her norm. It wasn't really noticable at first but now it was starting to show. She put a paw to her chest. Looking around, she spotted a sizable stick and padded to it, her hips swinging gayly.
She picked it up between her teeth and began to pad back-her eyes squeezed shut. She then began to shake her head back and forth, growling lightly and flipping her ears. She then gave the stick a toss into the air and proceeded to tackle it, biting it and leaving teeth marks. "See... its all in good fun."

O'tep looked at her sister, listening intently to her explanation for it. She cocked her head to the side as she watched her friend. She had never really done anything like that when she was a cub. Or at least she couldn't remember doing anything like that when she was a cub. A confused looked spread on her features before she flicked her tail behind her a few times and made a small face shaking her head a bit. "I don't get it. It makes no sense." Her voice was low she looked at a stick next to her and batted at it. "This 'playing' makes no sense." She licked her lips for a moment before nodding toward the other lioness. "But... I don't know if you say it's fun.." Her voice trailed.

Ukoo tossed her head back and forth and proceeded to get more and more excited. Her hips swung side to side and her tail flipped around wildly. She looked up with her red eyes gleaming. "It is so much fun! I promise O'tep!" She said, tossing her ears around. "Just try sister! Just try!" She said, looking desperate for fun.
She nodded her head as O'tep pawed the stick and she did the same, cocking her head and rolling her shoulders! "please please please!"

O'tep looked at the stick before looking at her sister and her nose scrunched up. "Is this normal?" She questioned in a confused manner. "I still don't get it Ukooooo." She whined a bit before flopping down and laying her head on her paws as she blew her hair out of her yes. "Maybe you could explain this to me another day. We really should be heading back soon." She said that in a bit of a disgusted voice. She really did not want to go back not at all.

Ukoo looked down at the stick and pressed her paw against it in vain. She sighed, shrugging. She didn't get it, she played as a baby and her babies and played without any kind of showing. How was it that O'tep had no clue. It was so strange to her but she would not dwell on it. Not any longer. "Okay... you are right."
She said, wrinkling her nose. She stood up and went to her pile of grass and picked it up, as much as she could, and started to walk back to the den.

"You can teach me to play another time sister." She said quietly as she nudged her sister hoping to make her feel better. She looked toward the den and sighed slightly as she started to wander that way back toward the den.
