Located to the East of the square is a path that leads to the lakefront. A man made body of water, it is calm in nature almost to the point of depression or even a quiet loathing in some. There is a special building set squarely in the center of this man made lake that can be accessed through four separate bridges located on all sides. The building itself is plain in nature, being of cube shape with only durasteel sheeting covering the sides and top. Very rustic and dull in color it bereaves its nature quite clearly as a solomn one.
As you enter into the structure you find yourself already ascending in, a flight of stairs leading the way. Names can be seen on the backs of each step, names of fallen comrades from all squads. This motif is continued as you reach the top of these stairs and enter into a small hallway preceeding the main room, more names of the fallen. Small flowers can be seen growing out of the flooring at the bottom of each slab that contain names, as if the world itself weeps for these lost souls.
The main room is huge, taking up the majority of the durasteel structure with its open floor plan and high ceilings. In the center of the room lies an ever blossoming sakura tree sitting beneath an opening in the ceiling on a raised platform. This is the only major source of light within the room aside from the large fires briming in the corners. The tree is always in bloom, enchanted with some sort of spell that keeps its pedals from totally leaving the tree bare. There are several benches in the shade of this tree looking up at it from their spots around the platform's base. Here members of Squad 3 may sit and look up at their captain who is usually seen speaking from atop the raised platform.
