so latley i have been reading the forums in here to catch up on whats been going on and a lot of you are talking about someone named matt.now i have only read up to volume 8 in the series and havent gotten around to the show yet so can someone please tell me who matt is?

well, i haven't read the whole manga, just the whole anime, so i'm not entirely sure where you are at. But, if you know who Near and Mello are, matt is basically one of them, and he's like Mello's best friend.

Matt is a really minor character in Death Note; he only appears in about 18 panels total throughout the last 3 volumes. Despite that he is a fan favorite. Basically he's Mello's best friend. (Although he is often paired with Mello) Wait a sec, just look him up: http://deathnote.wikia.com/wiki/Matt Doesn't anybody use Google? confused

Mello-Sab s i l e n t x c i r c u s unfortunately. sad The fact that a teenager died? Yes, very tragic and unfortunate. However, the death itself was hilarious. Sorry to say it, but I laughed myself dizzy.

Sorry to say it, but I laughed myself dizzy. technically he's 19... sooo he's basically an adult but yes the death was tragic, yet, hilarious.... i laughed soo hard i choked... i absolutely love matt..... even tho i laughed soo hard... a little part of me wanted to cry.. cry
