Red eyes looked around the area as they fell upon a interesting sight. It was one of her little cubs sleeping soundly. She smiled as she moved over licking the girl black mane from her eyes. "Silly what are you doing sleeping out here?" She asked curiously as she looked around for any of her other cubs or even her mate.
"Mmm...Just napping." She said pouting as she looked to her mother a moment before turning away. "Is it dinner time yet I'm hungry?" The little girl asked her mother as she let the adult lioness groom her grumping here and there. "Okay okay!! I'm clean!" She growled out moving away from her.
"Alright." He said laughing as she looked around curiously. "Mmm well lets find you father?" She said smiling as she looked around for the male curiously. "Where is he anyways?" She said her eyes scanning the lands where they currently resided.
"I dunno." Rin said quickly shrugging moving over to a small pound like watering whole to small for anything to live in it beside minnows. She began to lap at the water doing her best to ignore her mother whines and complaints for her mate.

The large male wasn't very far away, just like always. He never really was. The silver eyes that had been jaded so devistatingly flicked from place to place as he sat beneath the tree. A gentle hum came from his violet throat. He was always humming or singing or just in general belting out songs.
Ever since their cubs had been born he'd felt lighter. It wasn't just that Okoth was gone, it was as if his life had been given meaning. He loved cubs, he'd always loved cubs, always loved things smaller than he was. It was a weakness of his, and now that he had his own it was as if there was a sun shining in his heart.
Nothing could make him frown anymore.
Well... mostly nothing. He was misfortunate enough that one of his babies had been born as the demon that had possessed him. Akiiki couldn't kill him, it was as if something stayed his fangs when he'd lunged for the cub. Maybe it was that the body of the cub was made of his own blood and Maso's.
Whatever it was, Akiiki hadn't been able to go through with it and now he was plauged by the little demon. Surely he'd be free of him eventually but for now he decided it would be best to give the body of the cub that should have been a chance to grow up like it was supposed to. He'd come up with a plan for later in life.

Equipped with his mothers burning red eyes and flaming paws, Okoth was burdened with his father's violet markings but he figured it didn't matter. He had plans for those as well, plans that would dye them a lovely color of red by the time he was done.
All those that had wronged him would burn in the deepest levels of hell if he had his say. Naturally he'd been born when that singing idiot had procreated. Didn't Akiiki think he was smarter than to let that opportunity go unchecked? He'd loved the fact that Aki had attempted to slaughter him when he was born.
The bleeding softheart hadn't been capapble of it, hadn't been able to kill his own flesh and blood. It was something that Okoth had wagered his life upon.
His second life. This was his chance, his only remaining chance.
He would get back at the Firekin that had slaughtered him for wanting to re-join. He would kill his brother off if he didn't join him in the conquest, if he ever found Inzondo.
That was his major flaw, that he wanted his twin brother to help him exact his revenge when Inzondo-mnyama had always been the wild card to the affair. Would he agree? Would he even understand Okoth's desires?
Okoth would worry about those thoughts later. For now he had to focus on re-training his cushy cub body to make it into the fierce killer he would one day be. It was by luck that he was the grand-spawn of a god, his father was monsterously huge for a lion and it made up for his mother's diminutive size in comparision.
He would attempt to re-make the monster.

Maso's ears perked up as she heared the faint sounds of her sweet lovers voice. She moved over to the tree happily sneaking up behind her mate only to forget about pouncing him to rub up against his side.
"Hello there handsome." She purred out into his ear as she licked his cheek.
Rin looked over to her brother seeing him move about oddly as she laid down onto the bed stretching out on the rock. "Stupid Okoth." She said watching the young cub.
"Foolish to think you can do anything your still just a cub." She said gripping at him like always enjoying teasing him.
"Rin is hungry and its my turn to hunt watch over the runts make sure they try not to kill each other to badly?" She said before licking his cheek one last time before moving off into the Savannah to get a meal for the four.

A purr ran the length of his chest as Maso's body ran the length of his shoulder. The slow and almost rougish grin that slid over his scarred muzzle was meant for her alone. Usually his cubs got his gruffer side as they were always acting up. He had a soft spot for his daughters of course.
His mate was something different though. Maso was the only one he could look to when he was hurting and know that she would help him. It was her that he'd given his heart to.
Leaning his head down, Aki chuffed into her puff of mane lovingly and licked down the side of her throat.
"I won't let them kill one another.... well maybe Okoth. But I'll do my best to avoid it." Aki's voice sounded like a deep thrum of drums. Amusement.
Burning colored eyes twitched over to his pure looking sister. She was the only one that matched his mane and tail with color. Rin was also the only one that matched his nasty attitude, though it was so obviously the nastiness of a general cub rather than the anger of a grown adult lion.
She didn't see Okoth as his parents saw him, she didn't know what he was like. Unlike their large father, the tiny female didn't know what Okoth was capable of and where he came from.
"Trust, do little b***h. I won't be a cub for as long as you think. Even cubs grow older. I'm merely planning for adulthood when my paws are capable and much stronger." Okoth sneered in his blade sharpened voice.
Gods spare him the headache of stupid lions. Rin spoke as though she were older, but her language was still colored by cubhood.
Useless.

Maso smiled as she began to hunt thinking of her cubs and her family there where all so different from the next. She laughed a little as she thought of the two almost twin like cubs. Rin had always been a cold little butt and they was probably the reason Maso saw fit to name her 'cold lady'.
The female pouted as she flicked her tail in annoyance. "Alright mister hot shot...Work to hard now thought and later on in your years your going to wish you hadn't you muscle mass hasn't even gotten to a point where you should be preparing for things like that half godling or not." She said giving him a warning before jumping down moving over to him as she let her tail slowly run over his side as she passed.
"Shoulder and hind legs." She siad her tail running over the certain area's. "Be careful not to over stress them." She said in a teasingly singing out the words.

Silver eyes peered at his two cubs, twins they were not but it would appear that in mane and tail coloration as well as their mental aptitudes they were nearly in synch. Though maybe not. Okoth spoke as an adult lion while Rin sang as a little cub that knew too much to be anything more than annoying and snide when she felt the inkling for such.
It grated on his fine nerves but Akiiki let it go as a grain of salt. They were his cubs. It was assuming that Rin may have been Maso's demon Oni at some point but he wasn't entirely sure as Maso hadn't mentioned much about the offending demon since that particular night.
Curling his toes he let out a growl for the expression on Okoth's face at Rin's touch. The cub had never been one for physical touch, let alone from any of the young cubs related to him. Aki was waiting for the one thing that would push Okoth over the edge and he had a feeling that the day it came Rin would be to blame for whatever it was that happened. Just as she was to blame for the brunt of Okoth's outbursts.
Twisting so that his eyes could take in Aki, his father was encased in the blood colored orbs for a moment before he flicked them back to Rin again. Akiiki was far too perceptive for any of Okoth's needs in the department of revenge against his upstart of a cub sister. Rin would hit the wrong nerve one of these days.
If it wasn't for the blood attachment to this body Okoth would have shown her what females were good for. What they were only good for. Or so Inzondo thought at least. That would be his twin's downfall one of these days. Okoth knew that some females could be twisted in the right direction.
If one was evil enough her heart would lead her in the right direction for Okoth to do as he wanted with her.
Claws came out of his violet and black flamed paws slowly and pricked into the ground, almost as if testing it.
"You forget that females and males are built differently. Unlike you I fail to overwork my muscles. I know my breaking point as I always have. Why don't you go talk to a fish Rin and get out of my hair." The savageness in his voice was only for her.
Maybe he would kill her first, rather than the Firekin. She deserved every bit of it.

Rin looked to her brother pouting a moment as she stretched out on the ground beside him. "My my my...someone one the verge of doing something naughty." She teased him before sighing looking away. "You know if you wanted to improve so badly why not help Maso or our the unknowing stupid female that helped sire you I think is what would would call her." She said as she crossed one paw of the other as she laid there watching him a moment.
She couldn't help but enjoy herself in teasing him she knew it was a bad idea but that never seemed to stop her.
Maso returned with a large zebra pulling it along to her family so they could have a feast the night. She made it there not that long causing Rin to look over standing moving over to meet her mother to start eating on their dinner.

Akiiki lifted his head, tilting it to one side as his mate returned. She always seemed to take down zebra. Maybe it was the multitude of stripes they had all over their bodies that made her attack them. She always seemed to go for things that had patterns and a sort of beauty all of their own. The large male would say it was her weakness.
Rolling his heiroglyphic marked shoulder lazily, Aki strolled over to Maso, his tail wrapping around hers, as if catching her.
"You always catch such large things. But I'm never hungry for anything but you." Aki growled in her ear, his voice was a deep chord as he bit her neck teasingly. Almost as if searching for a rise out of her.
"I'm aware of how to hunt. These cubling claws make it hard to slaughter things, you should know that by now. Or then maybe not. You live in a life of illusion." Okoth sneered.
He watched out of bloody eyes as his mother dropped a large zebra down in front of them. His ever pudgy sister immediately went after it. Here she was preaching ways for him to stay healthy in his adulthood and she was gorging herself.
Drawing a circle in the dirt with a claw, Okoth raised his small white shoulders and imagined what it would be like to take down a kill on his own again. He remembered Inzondo and his father teaching them how to take one down as a cheetah. With their added strength as lions they were able to take down prey much heavier than the cheetah ever had.
Doubtless their father hadn't seen the death he'd been given coming. But then Inzo had never been one for sentiment, especially when he was angry or hungry.
Shaking his head sharply, the cub walked over to nibble lightly on the kill. He didn't need to fill his belly fully, he knew he would always be well fed around this bunch.
