The night was young and rather pleasant. Being fairly cold rather the heat of the day, was indeed a nice change. He moved swiftly threw the night, his dark pelt hard to see unless one knew what they were looking for. The only thing that was noticeable on him was his light brown fur fluff around his neck. He tended to stay out of the light of the moon. Raaze wasn't the one who wanted to get spotted. Though it was hard when there were so little trees about. He figured he had wondered into a desert of some sort.
He must have. It was hot for being night time, yet still pleasant. He wondered how hot it was during the day, but then again he didn't. He didn't like the heat much. The cold air was so much more blissful.

Being seen, or the heat was the farthest thing from Nona's mind. Guilt was the one thing that was there, she felt horrible just leaving the one she watched over all alone. And open to whatever her a** of an uncle had planned. Thing like that just ran wild through her head, yet at the same time she knew it was her choice to leave the lands to explore for awhile. But for what, that she didn't even know. That would be something she would have to think over some other time, but for now she just continued to walk off into the random direction she picked the second she stepped out of the lands.

Movement had stopped him in his tracks. It took a second to realize what it was that had made him stop. It was more of a reflex thing the him actually seeing the other. Though, she stood out clear as day in the moon light. The brown pelt, much much lighter then his own. And spots. Interesting. Only one female he'd ever met had spots. Her name, he could never forget. Though her pelt was far different from the female in front of him. Maybe he knew her?
He moved closer to her and out into the moon light to be seen. He didn't want to startle her if anything. Though he wasn't pleased with his actions. Curiosity and the face of that female, Kei.... She called herself. Washed over his face. She was the girl who got away. It was ancient history, though. His actions were to late, he was completely visible and in front of the female by a few feet. His golden eye watched her, in case she did anything. His face wore a sore expression, but nothing that was meant.

Nona stopped instantly when she saw the male appear in front of her, it snapped her out of her old thoughts in a split second. Only to put new ones there in it's place, what did this stranger want with her she wondered. But she just stood there as quiet as she was before, only staring back into the eyes of the strange leopard who was staring at her.

An awkward moment passed between them as they stared at each other for a minute or two. What was he going to do? There was no backing out now. "Er.... Sorry." He spoke first. Not really sure what else to say. He didn't mean to intrude her peace at all, but an urge was an urge. "I was wondering if you knew someone, perhaps." He added now that it was too late to hide back into the shadows. "Her name is Kei." He added. It was the spots that only made him wonder about her.
Nothing else, she didn't look like Kei in anyway shape or forum. Though, the spots were enough to draw him out of the shadows. How could past history seem to haunt him so? No matter. He put her in the back of his mind after her answer if it was a no. He could move on, he swore he could.

The only thing Nona could do at first, was shake her head no to his question. "I'm sorry, but I don't know any by that name." She finally said. Every word coming out of her mouth telling no lie what so ever. She never met any other with that name, but why would this male go up to her and ask about this so called Kei? Why pick a random leopardess like herself to ask

"Was worth a shot, anyways." He spoke with a shrug. No matter now he was here, now he had to talk to her. "I'm Raaze" He said, his voice rougher then it had been the first time he said anything to her. He didn't mean to sound stupid. Though he thought she might be related to her in a way, but then again he was being stupid. Kei was purple. No matter it was in the past now.
He tried to move on from the subject of the question. "Lovely night, no?" he asked her. He wasn't sure how nice this female was, but he knew a few females always loved the stars. He looked up, but only saw some clouds here and there. Blocking most of the stars above.

She wanted to qestion the first thing he said back to her, but decided against it. Only to hear him intoduce himself to her. "Oh, my name is Nona" She replied. But unlike the male her voice didn't sound any different then it has before. But as soon as she replied to one thing, he would say another. "I guess so." She started, looking around for a few seconds before continuing what she was gonig to say. "It seems much cooler then it usually would be."

Interesting name, Nona. No matter, he nodded to acknowledge that he heard her name. "Really? It seems quite warm. " He started to say. "But I'm not use to the desert" He said with another shrug. He once was told that the desert was hot at day, and freezing at night. Yet this was a pleasant temperature. Maybe it was warmer then other's like to think it is. "I come from a jungle." He told her. He thought all leopards did a while ago. Until he realized how many of them lived all over the place.

Nona just mentally shrugged off what the other said about it being warm. No two leopards were the same, and each ones body depending where they came from can veiw tempatures differently. "I'm not exactly used the the desert either, seeing as I come from a nice green area somewhere near the ocean." She stated. Not going into any details of where exactly it was, she didn't see any reason to say much more about the lands she came from.

Raaze wasn't interested anyways. He had been in a cage already, he didn't need to be in a pride. Humans... two words for them, utter dislike. Perhaps even hate. But that wasn't something to bring up. He let a frown cross his face and that was it. He lashed his tail for a second then stopped when he realized what was going on. "I see. So your not around here then?" He was hoping she was. He was lost.... And needed some directions.

Like the first question he ever asked her, she simply shook her head no. "No, i'm not from around here. Though I have passed through here quite a few times before." She stated. She used to pass through here some time before she found that stupid pride to be her home, before she found her uncle, before the hell of the pride got to her. "I can point out so many interesting spots in this area, from when I have traveled through here."

Raaze nodded, well that was a little better. "I'm looking for some water. Do you know where a water hole is? Maybe a small oasis out here?" Of course most creatures wouldn't be fore showing other's their water spot, but his mouth was quite dry now. Thinking on it just made it worse. He could feel is tongue sticking to the top of his mouth every time he shut it. "If not, I'll just have to head back the way I came." He said with a rough smile as he looked at her. His golden eyes seemed to glimmer in the moon light.

Nona once again shook her head to one of his question, but this time it was a yes. She did infact know where the water hole was at in this area. "I know where a small water hole is." She paused for a second, and turned her head to point out the direction it was at. "If you walk in that direction, you should reach it eventually." She stated, not moving her head away from the direction she was pointing at.

Raaze inclined his head. "Thanks. I'll have to remember that." He told her with a nod. He made no movement towards the way she pointed. After all, it was rude leaving without saying anything. Though, they didn't know each other except by name. Though, he had no reason to stay anymore. He just stood there, an awkward silence between them. "Well... I suppose I should get going then?"
