Ellandra was curled up - as much as she could curl up, anyway - on the couch, writing away in the peaceful silence of having the vardo entirely to herself for the moment. Rhian and Lauss were away with Aoi, and Ellandra had no idea where the other three residents of the vardo were. All she knew at the moment was that it was finally, blessedly quiet, and that she could work peacefully at her writing.
Though, come to think of it, it was a little lonely now, being all alone in here - even with the twins for constant company. Maybe Faolan would come in soon, she'd appreciate the chance to get to spend more time with him, especially time alone. It would be so very nice. . .

Faolan blundered through the vardo's front door wearing nothing but a towel and carrying a bag of toiletries. He dropped the bag down on the table and walked over to the couch.
"Hey, big puffy version of Ellandra," the young man said, leaning down to kiss his wife. "Whatcha workin' on?"

Ellandra squeaked and stuffed the notebook away as Faolan came in. She was desperate to not let him see her awful attempts at getting through her writer's block, though she was enjoying the view he provided. Greatly. However, she smacked him lightly at being called "puffy" even as she returned the kiss. "I'm not puffy, that makes me sound like a marshmallow," she said, pouting. "And nothing in particular."

Faolan nodded. "Add milk to the grocery list, okay?" He stood up, grinning at her. "You're a beautiful marshmallow, my lover. How be wor bairns?" He rested a hand on her belly.

Ellandra pouted. "Beautiful or not, I'm no marshmallow, Faolan," she said, just a touch insistently. "And they're fine, as much as I can tell so right now, anyway." She smiled at Faolan as she added the mention of the babies, to show she wasn't really mad at him - but could he please lay off the puffy and fluffy remarks?

"Of course you're a marshmallow," Faolan teased, moving to place his hands on her belly. "And you're my marshmallow. Actually, this talk of marshmallows is making me hungry." He leaned over and began nibbling the woman's neck, making happy noises.

"I'm not - I'm not a marshmallow," Ellandra said, or rather tried to say, as Faolan's nibbling n her neck while clad only in a towel was a little. . . ehem, distracting to her sensibilities. Far more than a little, in fact.

Faolan made no answer than some happy noises in the back of his throat. He moved back to sit on his haunches and look up at his wife. "Shal I go get dressed, or do you prefer me naked?"

Ellandra actually had to think about her answer to that question - for a rather long time, in fact. In the end, she still couldn't quite make up her mind. "Well . . ." she started to say, and then cut herself off as a smile and accompanying blush spread across her face. "If you think about it, I'm. . . sure you already know the answer, Faolan."

"Oh, aye," Faolan purred, lifting her easily and carrying her to their room. "Bet you wanna see more o' me tattoo anyway, yeah?"

The brunette squeaked as she was picked up, and tried not to giggle. "Maybe, maybe not. We'll have to see."
A while later, the brunette woke from the daze she'd unknowingly drifted into after her thorough inspection of Faolan's tattoo (and more) and murmured something vaguely that had no real words to it - more of a "Mmrhmmmm," than anything resembling conversation.

Faolan lay on his back, hands behind his head and a grin on his face. He looked down at Elle with half-closed eyes and mde a few happy noises in his throat. "Well, that was a nice way to spend a few hours, eh?"

Ellandra blinked up at him sleepily and smiled, making a soft "Mmhmm," of contentment, snuggling back down and trying to resist the urge to faall back into a nap.
