Amaranta had been spending the day roaming the pride lands, trying to get further acquainted with them. She knew it would be important one day that she knew every inch of these lands, including any secret tunnels routs, anything and everything.
Her purple eyes were scanning the area when the fell upon the Caesars' son. She sauntered over to him, she knew the Caesar had had cubs around the same time she and her siblings were born, but she had yet to meet any of them.
She made her way over to him, her dark purple/blue fur almost shining in the sun light, "Hello there" she said to the other cub, " I am not sure if you know me, or know of me I should say." Amaranta was a tad full of herself, and felt that everyone should know of her. "I am Amaranta I am the elder's daughter."

Ceyx's head was in the clouds that day, almost literary. He was busying himself by staring at the sky, examining the blue and the clouds. He sat back on his haunches, using his front paws for support as he kicked his back legs as far up as they could go. A large smile on his lips. To tell the truth he was a little hard to miss. He was a large sized cub. Very bulky and not with cub fat either. He didn't like being bigger than normal some times. He would have to be careful when he was playing. So most of the time he kept himself busy but doing this like he was doing currently. Sure as staring at the sky, or following around his dad trying to learn all that he could.
However even though he was in his own world and completely day dreaming it didn't mean that he would be easily snapped out of it and brought back to the world. His attention turned toward the cub that wandered toward him. "I know who your parents are." He payed attention to the cubs his age, even though he didn't know them all that well, or even talked to them, he knew about them. He flicked his hair out of his eyes as he watched the other cub. "My name is Ceyx, you probably know I'm the Caesar's son." He nodded before flicking his white mane out of his eyes. "Can I help you Amaranta?" He smiled softly at her.

Amaranta was a little taken back about how with it the cub seemed to be, she obviously knew that he was larger, to begin with he was a lion and she was a leopard, but for reason she had not thought that he would be so articulate. Perhaps his parents trained him just as her mom trained her and her siblings, but of course she wasn't to talk about that outside of the families den.
"There is nothing in particular that I needed, just felt that perhaps I should introduce myself." she said simply to the other cub. She moved her body close to her, even at a young age she was beginning to learn how to use her sexuality to her benefit. Leopards were beautiful creatures in her opinion and she knew to use it, particularly... as disturbing as it was with her brothers.
"I haven't had a chance to get out and see the whole of the pride's lands. Perhaps you could show me." she smiled at the young man.... she couldn't see how befriending the Ceases' son could hurt her in any way, perhaps it would even help her in the future.

Ceyx looked at the female with the smile still on his face. He was hoping that he size didn't scare the leopard, she didn't seem like she was that scared though. He shrugged the idea off before nodding to her. "Makes sense." He was a little surprised at the fact that she was leaning on him. He made a small face before moving his body a bit and bumped her as gently as he could so she wasn't leaning against him. She flicked her tail around a few more times, before yawning.
"I guess I could show you. I don't have that much to do today." He had followed his father around the pride a few times when he was bored, or just to get some training in. He looked toward his left then back toward his right and at the leopardess again before standing up, a small smile on his face. "Is there any part that you really want to go to?" He asked as he shook his pelt up, standing up to his full size.

Amaranta smiled wondering if it was possible that the Caesars' son would be able to show her some of the off limit places around the pride. She had heard that there was places around the lands that only the royal family where allowed to be. Thinking it through Amaranta decided not to jump right to that. Perhaps she should just easy her way into it.
Amaranta made a hmmm noise as if she was still thing, she had already decided to play into his feelings. "How about you show me your favorite place." she said eying him gently. She hoped she was being subtle enough.

Ceyx looked at the leopardess then around the land that was in front of him. He really wasn't paying attention to her advances, he normally was a little obvious to those around him. It was just the way he was. And at the moment he wasn't that swayed by the opposite sex. Yet...
"This is my favorite place." He said motioning toward a tree and a watering hole not that far away from it. "I like it here, the tree has nice shade, water isn't that far off and no one comes around here." He shrugged as he arched a brow at the female as if she should have known that fact.

Amarana smiled while the lion cub told her about his favorite places. She could tell her advances were going no where with him, but that didn't mean she would necessarily stop, it was one of the only ways she knew to communicate with the opposite sex. Even with her brothers it was either a battle or sex appeal she had with them.
"I can't say that I have ever spent time in this area." she said quietly to him, sitting down in the shade of the tree and enjoying the shade. "I always spend my free time around the beach." she smiled at him again.
"Could you show me where the most interesting stuffs happens around the pride?" she cocked an eyebrow at him. It would be cool to see what he found most interesting. He was a boy so who knew if they would even have the same interests.

Ceyx started up at the sky for a moment he wanted to go back do going what he was doing he wanted to go back to watching the sky and thinking he really wanted to but of course he isn't going to but now he was going to try to entertain this girl then he as most likely going to hunt down his father and maybe train for a little bit. He wasn't even that sure of what he was going to do but he was going to figure out something to do, he had to didn't he?
He looked at her thens shrugged slightly. "I'm always over here, not many others, it's nice when you want to get away from your siblings or just spend some time away from the other pride members." He was an odd cub, most other cubs would want to find some one to play with at all times, not him he was afraid of playing with other cubs because of his size.
He looked at her and shook his head. "No." He said bluntly before looking toward where the beaches were. "I can't even go to where the interesting stuff happens. Only my daddy can go there, not even my mommy can go there." He made a face once more before flicking his hair out of his eyes once more. He had a feeling he was coming off very boring to the other lioness. He wasn't it was just that.... Well he didn't want to get in trouble, mostly.

Amaranta listened thoughtfully as the lion cub spoke to her. She was some what disappointed that the cub didn't have access to interesting places around the pride. She was hoping he could make himself useful and show her the cool stuff that perhaps only a Caesar's family would be able to know about.
Sighing quietly she plopped down under the tree he had showed her and rolled over on to her back, her purple eyes scanning the sky above her, watching the clouds roll by. "Lie down relax," she said to the other cub. Giving up on her idea of a in depth tour.

Ceyx stared at the sky, once more pretty much forgetting about the leopardess that was sitting next to him. He wasn't that sure why he was always distracted by the sky, but he was. Currently he was really focused on trying to figure out how the clouds got up in the sky. Or better yet! What were they made of? Oh he wasn't that sure but he wanted to poke one of them. Why not? they looked like fun. Or better yet! Sleeping on one of them also looked like a load of fun.
Her voice almost made him jump, but he tried to hide it the best he could. He looked down at her before finally processing what she had just said. "Uhm... Alright." He shrugged before flopping down where he was and rolling over on his back. Well he could admit this didn't hurt his neck as much but he couldn't get as much of a veiw... Ah he wasn't going to say anything about it...

Amaranta giggled looking up at the sky. She was starting to feel and act like an actual cub. This of course wasn't a luxury she got very often. She was in strict training with her mother and siblings. Their mother wanted to make sure that her cubs would be useful.
"I like that cub." she said out loud, she was talking mostly to herself when she said it. "It looks like ..... an elephant." she said taking the time to let the cloud form a picture in her head. "Clouds are really cool." she said. "They look so fluffy and cuddly like they would be a good place to nap. But the one time I suggested it my father let me know that that isn't possible. Apparently they are nothing but water." It was a rather confusing concept to her but that is what her father told her. She rolled to look at the other cub's reaction.

Ceyx blinked a bit and looked around toward where she was looking. Trying to look at said cloud. He loved to see clouded shaped like anything. He thought they were really awesome. He saw one that kind of looked like his father once. "Wow it does." He said in an amazed voice, to him things like that were some of the coolest around.
"It is impossible." He said simply as he looked up at them. He was a really smart cub, and he had heard that before. "And plus it'd be impossibly to get up there too." He shrugged before he glanced at her once more. "But they do look realyl nice to lay on, if I could lay on one of those I'd love to."

Amaranta didn't like his attitude, nothing was impossible. She liked to think that everything was possible if you but enough effort into. She rolled over and looked at him.This cub was very laid back it was something she wasn't use to at all. In her family it was always a battle always a competition, you always had to prove that you were the best.
"Yes it would be comfy to lie on, I would like at that one." she said gestering with her paw at a particular puffy one. Amaranta was beginning to grow tired of laying and looking at clouds, she stood and stretched. "Come on lets go see what else we can do." Amaranta wasn't sure if Ceyx would want to go do anything else he seemed so happy here.

Ceyx looked at the female as she stood up, he was a little confused at why she wanted him to go with her. He really didn't want to move, he didn't want to go anywhere he was enjoying himself. There wasnt' that many times where he got to wander around. "I'm good, I don't have that much longer until I have to go back to the den. I'd rather spend my last few minutes here. The clouds are so nice." He nodded to her as he flopped back down on his back resting his paws on his stomach. He was happy here.

Amaranta huffed, she didn't like being told no, and it hurt her pride somewhat. Her mother had told her to always been in control, she was suppose to be a leader. On the cusp of letting her anger get the better side of her, Amaranta stoped, if she yelled at the Cesear's son she was going to be in a heck of a lot of trouble when she got home and really wrecking a potential friendship now with someone who was in such a good family was just plain stupid.
She turned back towards him and smiled, "Alright then Ceyx you enjoy your clouds.. but I should get back to more important things." she smiled proud that she had been able to give the hint that she was more grown up then he was, perhaps she was even smarter, just because he was royalty didn't mean he was smart and he obviously didn't have parents like her mother that took the time to train him.
"Thanks for showing me your spot, I suppose I will see you around." she said before sauntering away. He may not have been all that useful, but Amaranta had enjoyed the chance to relax. But now she had to get back to work.
