 Cheveyo lay on his side in the shadow of a tree at midday. He was going to have to move soon because the shade had moved so that his paws were barely in it. 'I'm glad I can look scary,'He thought. He didn't like people who were chatty. they were really annoying. He could only think of how many people passed through his territory that got on his nerves. Then his mind got stuck on the image of Fallen the brown Vampire with a ring around his nose and a flaming paw. His brown tail twitched with irritation and his golden eyes flared with angry.

Aliana padded across the terrain, an agitated look on her face. Smudges of dirt cluttered her pretty white and pink fur. Segugio, that brat, always running around and jumping on her! Didn't he have self control? She continued to fume even as she slowed her pace to an almost leisurely walk. The hot sun beating down on her back made her thankful for her light colours. She had left her families den, mainly to get away from her siblings. Aliana knew her mother was aware she had left, since Nani had watched her go, so the female adolescent wouldn't get in trouble once she returned home.
Huffing, she spotted a dark brown helix resting under a tree in the shade, looking angry. She glared at him, wondering what right he had to be angry. At least he didn't have her annoying siblings! Turning her gaze away, she continued her leisurely walk as if she didn't see him, ignoring his presence as she wandered past his tree.

Cheveyo smelled the female before she entered what he called 'His' Territory. He glanced at the Adolescent trying to decide whether or not to bite. In the end he decided to. He stood up and trotted over to her. "What are you doing here?" Cheveyo asked pushily.

Aliana had been content to ignore the helix but it seemed like that was impossible now. Coming to a stop as he approached, she narrowed her gaze at him and tilted her chin up.
"Me? What right do you have to ask me that?" She retorted, looking him over. "What are you doing here?" It was a poor reply and it held bravado that the female didn't feel. The male's golden eyes were a little intimidating and he seemed very pushy. She shifted a little, feeling uneasy but refusing to show it.

Cheveyo let out a quiet giggle that he disguised as a bark. He loved it when people didn't know what he was. "I've lived here for longer than you've been alive. Don't ask me about my rights to ask questions," Cheveyo growled. "Now what are you doing here?" He asked again. He hated people who got smart with him.

Aliana knew she was being stupid, her attitude got her in trouble a lot but she refused to be pushed around by some...common helix.
“Sorry,” she said falsely apologetic, “I didn't realize you were a senior citizen here.” Giving him a fierce glare, she bared her teeth at him slightly. It was not an overtly threatening movement, it was just enough to hint that she would fight back if he fought her. “If you must know, I am simply taking a walk in my territory.” She tossed her head slightly, glancing back the way she came. Her families den wasn't far away but just enough distance between her and them that they wouldn't hear if anything happened.

Cheveyo growled his hackles raising at Aliana's comment. "I'll have you know that shapeshifters do not make sound enemies," he snarled His golden eyes flaring again. Helixes like this were one of the reasons he hardly ever got to know many helixes. He felt it would be better without them in his life, territory, and sight. "Your territory.... Bah you are on my territory," He growled. He didn't like younger helixes trying to boss him around. He glanced over his shoulder hoping Leah wouldn't interfere again. She was always getting in his way and he had to listen to her because she was a Beta.

Shapeshifter. Oh...damn, Aliana thought, unconsciously stepping back at his words. His golden eyes glared at her and she couldn't help but look away. Good job, Aliana! She scolded herself, piss off a shapeshifter! She winced, glancing back at him. She really wished her family was with her, Annabelle would know what to do...or even Segugio would distract him with his idiocy so Aliana could escape. Damn it.
Still, Aliana wouldn't back down. She wouldn't antagonize him further, but she still wouldn't back down. “What gives you the right to claim territory and yet I cannot?” She demanded, locking gazes with him. “Do you claim superiority simply because of your heritage?”

Cheveyo thought he Had scared her off when she took a step backwards and looked away. It usually worked for everyone as an instant deterrent. He didn't know what this helix was made of. The way she came back at him. 'What am I going to do now,' Cheveyo thought he was all out of intimidation techniques. He hadn't fought a female before either so he figured that he could take her if need be. "The fact that it was already claimed should be good enough. I do not claim superiority over anything except the Vampire Helixes. With you it's Age that's the factor," Cheveyo growled taking a step forward and making himself look more intimidating.

Aliana scowled at him when he mentioned her age, opening her mouth, preparing to retort when he stepped forward, looking oh so intimidating. She held back a whimper as she took a defensive step backwards, oh gods, he's going to eat me she thought wildly in her head, before shaking her head and steeling her nerves. If I'm going to die, then hell if I'm going to let my last minutes be cowering in front of some...extremely scary....male! She straightened herself and, while she couldn't quite meet his eyes, she did manage to glare at his forehead.
“Age? You think my age is the factor? Simply because I'm young doesn't mean I'm foolish or weak,” she scowled at him. “You should be wary of youths, after all they're the ones that'll take over after you're dead.” and I'm going to be dead soon, she thought immediately after her statement, still glaring at his forehead unable to meet those golden eyes.

Cheveyo could smell fear coming off of her. The whimper made him grin making him look evil. He didn't know why the female didn't flee already. She looked at him as if he was going to eat her. He gagged at the thought. He had tried Helix meat before it wasn't to his fancy. He may harm her, Maybe kill her but not eat her. He felt her glaring at his forehead and started to laugh. "I didn't say that you were weak or foolish. You may have the best chance at beating me. I don't know," Cheveyo snarled, "Besides I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon." Cheveyo was beginning to wonder if the female had a death wish. she wasn't even attempting to move.

He looked like a devil, Aliana couldn't help but think as he grinned at her. She knew that he'd heard her whimper, a sign of her weakness and glared at him, though she still couldn't meet his eyes. She felt like an idiot, and when he began to laugh, it only made her feel worse. Growling, she finally met his eyes.
“Fine,” she snarled back, her pretty pale eyes flashing, “then if you do not wish to leave, then I will. You're a waste of my time anyway!” She glared at him before turning her back on him, stomping away, but instead of going back the way she'd came, she traveled further into what was probably his territory. She wasn't thinking of that, she just wanted to get away from him. Her heart thudded painfully, wondering what he'd do now. She was running away, yes, but she had insulted him and she doubted he would like that...

Cheveyo noticed that she finally met his eyes. He made his hackles rise further than normal. 'She really wants to fight?' Cheveyo thought angrily. When she left and started walking deeper into 'his' territory. It was the last straw. Cheveyo was about to blow his top. No one talked to him like that let alone ignore his warning and do the opposite. "Not a good choice," he growled launching himself after her. He skidded around and stopped in her path his teeth flashing. "Fighting fire with fire is not that smart, especially with me. I hope you know how to fight well because that's what you will need to get out alive. All the skills at your disposal will be needed," Cheveyo snarled. He made it so Aliana couldn't get past him easily then growled "I'll be polite. Since you are a a lady why don't you make the first move. Its not like you are anything to be scared of." Cheveyo enjoyed taunting his opponent. It usually led to a better fight.

Aliana could have sworn she felt her heart stop when he growled behind her, suddenly appearing in her path, looking furious. She stumbled back a step, trying to put some distance between them but it was too late, her intention to fight had been made and it looked like her smart mouth comments had caught up with her. Aliana was alright at hunting but she had never been a strong fighter. She'd never really fought before! Not even playfully with her sibblings, though how she wished she had now!
Yelling at herself inwardly, she glared at his paws, not even close to look at his face now. There was no way she would back down, she wasn't a coward, not like her dad! She wouldn't be like him, she'd own up to her errors. Lifting her head, she locked eyes with him, her pale eyes blazing.
“Just because I'm a girl, doesn't mean I can't kick your butt!” She snarled, somewhat childishly, though she had a right, she supposed, to be childish, being barely more then a child herself.
Launching herself towards him, teeth bared and aimed towards his throat, she could only hope that fighting was an ingrained instinct and her lack of experience wouldn't kill her in this fight.

Cheveyo thought she was about to back down. when she took a step back. He smelled fear permeating her body. Then her whole demeanor changed and she snarled to him "I never said...." He started to say but, then she leaped towards him. Taken by surprise he only had time to dodge slightly. Her teeth dug into his shoulder. He shook himself trying to shake her loose. 'Never think they'll back down. Always be prepared...,' he thought mentally kicking himself. He deserved that one and put him back on attention. He wouldn't let a female get the better of her.
