BBC states that the new Doctor started shooting the new season yesterday (7/20). It's sad to know that David Tennant is truly no longer the Doctor. It finally hit home when I read that.

I saw the spoiler pictures the Sun had online, and I have to say [spoilers] the 11th Doctor kind of looks dweeby. He almost reminds me of George McFly from Back to the Future. Also what's the actress who played River Song doing there in a red dress and heels? Hmm... Still, you can't really judge a new Doctor just by still pictures alone. Hopefully the Doctor-companion dynamic will be good (I also personally hope she won't be another Rose-type love interest).

they are also getting rid of russel t. davis, also i saw the picctures, i think that the new doctor will never live up to david tennent, no one will...

What? o_O I'm not really a fan of the new outfit, much like Ten's "blue suit". Like trying to draw inspiration from several of the other Doctors, but it's kinda weird on him. It'll be interesting to see how he ends up choosing/getting that onscreen.

Could end up being brilliant. Or not.

After zooming in a bit, I see that the words read St. John Ambulance link. Not sure what's up with those soldiers. Are they members of the Red Cross or something? confused For some reason the Doctor in that picture with the coat reminds me of the Joker (from Batman). The new companion's cute.

But as to the new suit, new tie, new Tardis, its new Doctor.
Still not completely about it, but he must have wowed Stephen Moffat with what I'd like to know. Maybe the not-the-best-dressed still have talent.
Still I pictured him wearing black. Something between Chris and Ten. New New New Doctor, ya know?
Still not about Tardis being so blue. Lego blue??? *thinks of Joker costume with bright colors again*

Hmm. Maybe that logo means the area is quarantined due to regeneration whatevers? xd
And the new companion is cute. xD
I think the Tardis looked either airbrushed in that photo or the lighting was weird or something.. it looked way too bright.

The TARDIS is supposed to look worn and battered. it gives her character.
This is like an elderly woman having all the wrinkles removed from her face and her hair dyed! It looks fake and unpleasant.
On another note....could there be a REASON the TARDIS suddenly looks completely renewed?

Oh, and that symbol on the TARDIS isn't so new after all (in fact, I seem to remember Moffat mentioning the cross's disappearance in an interview and how he wanted to put it back on). Case in point:  Man, that's one blue TARDIS in those new pictures. I would have preferred a bit darker blue myself.
