i was reading the topics and i noticed that evryone in here loves ddr...but do we play too much? imean..someppl in here arelike...ddr NERDS. well no...more like dorks. domokun ninja imean...ddr isnt a real sport...i like it, dont get me wrong..but some ppl play way 2 much. ya needoutside air ya know. tell me bout wat u think!

That is a statement unsupported by proof, logic, or proper grammar. But I'll waste my time with you anyway. :]
1. If you're saying we play it too much because that's all we talk about here: That's probably because this is a DDR guild. What else are we gonna discuss?
2. If your judgement is based on all the crazy scores in the Accomplishment thread, then let me tell you something: I play about once or twice a week, for about 2 hours at a time. At the same time, I'm the best player in the guild (except probably Original Z but he doesn't post much anymore anyways shh). That should tell you something.
I don't really see where else you could come up with that conclusion. Feel free to explain your side of the story, because I'd love to prove you wrong. smile

I only play about once every three weeks now for about four hours at my local arcade. It's a hobby of mine, but it's not all I think about (even though I constantly listen to Bemani music. ..oh, and I had a dream about dating a Bemani artist two nights ago, but that's beside the point).
Oh, and it's a real sport in the Netherlands, I believe. surprised (correct me if I'm wrong. I know it's an official sport somewhere, I'm just not sure if it was the Netherlands.)

So what would you rather us do? Have a "life"? The definition of such is completely up to the individual- you have no right to judge and sentence them from your perspective alone, which you impose on others.
While there are certainly more worthwhile things to do, there are certainly more worthless. Walking around the mall with cindy, gossiping about things in school(Jim will never love Sara, sorry to say.) and going to parties... Yeah. I can completely see the benefits of that, and at most there is only one- friends. But, no suprise here- DDR is something you can do with friends too! To be overly comparitive of these two would bring only more trouble, so Im resting this one right here.
Regardless, it isnt possible to play too much unless youre at the point of self injury. People do something and enjoy it, just as you do when you go about doing...whatever the hell you do. Life can be a game- anything can be considered a game. I dont consider it a sport, but its something Id do over just about anything else. Dont criticize others' lives from a single, overly common perspective.

I used to play 3-4 times a week for 1-2 hours (then school started scream ). It's just a hobby and one of the few things I'm really passionate about.

Actually, Ill go further and say I think I dont play enough.
I play maybe... 2 hours, 4-5 days a week, when I should be doing at least 3 every day.
D= stupid school gets in the way though. Damn them for trying to provide me an education! ;-;
