...affect they way your avatar looks?
I know it's very hard to do, but perhaps the century/location/culture/origin of the instrument can play a role in how your avatar looks.
I really think that gaia should come out with more instrumental based items.
You'd think some of the gaia staff would have mentioned those types of items since I'm sure at least a FEW of them are band dorks.

My avie has gold on it like a trumpet. Oh, and centaur can be related to trumpets. They both have ancient roots. Not to mention my other instrument, horn, has some roots in the hunting horns people played on hunts. And people rode horses on hunts. And centaurs are half horse.
I see some connections here. biggrin

Anywho, I don't play any instruments. But they could really do with some chellos, or flutes. Not sure if theu have them, but they could also use some tubas!

Gaia definitely needs more instrument-based items.
As for my avi relating...
I play alto sax, and one of my avis that I use has a lot of gold on it.
But my sax is black since it's nickel... >>;;
But also on the sax side of things, our sax line thinks they're the s**t totally awesome, and I think my avis are typically pretty frickin' cool.
(Except right now because I'm accumulating pieces for a new one, so it's a little... bare.)
But my first instrument is clarinet, and I'm trying to get a black and white theme going right now, so maybe...?
