:[ Name ]: Fjalar :[ Gender ]: Male :[ Generation ]: Second :[ Owner ]: Devastation :[ Personality ]: Fjalar is a bit of a loner. He hates his appearance only because it conflicts on how he truly wants to be: cold-hearted and serious. Deep down, however, he's very soft-hearted but would rather fight to the death then admit it. :[ Likes ]: Quiet, fighting when he feels he has to, mild amounts of pain :[ Dislikes ]: The way he looks, showing weakness, tears :[ Weapons ]: He'd prefer using his fists/nails (he call them his claws though) to anything else. He's also grown quite akin to using a bow and arrow. :[Current Abilities]: Ability to see things from an extreme distance and hit targets with objects (knives, arrows, anything sharp really) just as well. :[Associated Element]: Supra :[Weapons]: knives, arrows, anything sharp really Pae'il (c) Antidia Created by - Tiaphanu

immortalmina Hula Bob kissed Ceri on the forehead once again. He then sat down next to her and sat the egg in his lap. "Kaelia and Luau LuLu. Pretty names! Now, for the third egg." He some how knew who it was for. So, he wrote a note.
Dear Devastation,
Dudette, you birthday is here. My son is now yours. I hope he makes you feel happy and that you do the same for him. Please treat him kind and gentle. Awesome.
Hula Bob.
He nodded and set the note on the egg and then shot some fireworks in the air.
Hula Bob and Ceri's eggs are here! Deva had no idea how she came across this floating utopia in the sky, she knew one thing though... something deep in her led her there. She sat herself near the giant lake, it was obvious there were many different creatures around but she had yet to really see any. A flare at the corner of her eye caught her attention. It was obvious that whatever it was that shot it, it wanted to be found. She ran towards it, she didn't want to lose sight of where it had been shot up at. Eventually finding herself in front of a bizarre tiki hut-like building she felt something roll onto her foot. It took a while before she actually noticed, as she had been staring at the hut in disbelief for a while. Reaching down to swoop up the egg she read the letter attached to it. Holding the egg against her she ran her fingers across it, little wings pricked at her fingers as she did so. The coloring was so bright, she was hypnotized by the red. "Fjalar..." she whispered, remembering the red rooster that was to signal Ragnarok from her many books. The wings were so sharp and his tail so grooved, like a demon's she couldn't help but name it that. Her lips curved upwards and she hugged the egg tight, but gently. "Happy birthday to me indeed... thank you so much Hula Bob."

Deva had noticed subtle changes in Fjalar's behavior since he had matured into a healthy adult. Well, okay, not so subtle. He had become very obsessed with the way he was looking... in such a way that it was unhealthy for him. Not a prideful way as you may be thinking, but more of a hate for what he looked like. No matter how many times Deva had told him his father was so well-known and that it shouldn't bother him, he seemed to get angry and cold at the mention.
Ever since he was a bouncing baby and a beautiful teen she never figured he would want to yearn to be evil. Sure, she had neglected to let him meet more of his kind but even then, it's almost as though he shut down. Maybe it would be better to let him wander around the island unsupervised, she mused. "Fjalar..." she called.
Fjalar stay where he was seated, his eyes fixated on a butterfly. "What?"
"How're you feeling today?" she asked, hoping it wasn't the same answer.
He shrugged and wrapped his fingers around the butterfly, a breath away from crushing it. "Does it matter?"
She sighed, I guess it's too much to hope for. She straightened her posture to look more intimidating an parental. "Did you ever feel like seeing places aside from where we stay?"
His eyes glinted but he continued to watch the butterfly struggle in his grip. "Not really, it'd probably be boring. I like it here... it's quiet."
"Ah... you always did like the quiet." She sat next to him and watched the butterfly curiously. "So you're just going to sit here and never bother with another Pae as long as you live."
"I didn't SAY that," he grumbled, keeping his grip steady but his muscle flexed. "What does it matter if I go today, tomorrow, or a year from now back. I don't want to right now, though I'm sure they're more company then you are." his emerald eyes dulled and he scowled.
Deva bit her lip, she provoked him though she was only doing her best to be playful. It seemed hard nowadays, he exibited all the traits of his father at a young age but it was like a demon within him rose when he became an adult. "Well excuse me... geez Fjalar."
He looked back at her and sighed. "Didn't mean it," he mumbled. "Lost my temper." He let the butterfly go and watched as it fluttered away in haste. "Don't go comparing me to my father either... I know that it's coming."
Deva shut her mouth and watched him. He didn't seem quite done yet.
"All this time we've lived together, I always wanted to meet another Pae'il," he said softly. "You always talk about Hula Bob and how laid-back he is but I never got to meet him, not once. I got this look from him... my colors are so bright it hurts my eyes. And the flower here..." he pointed to his left eye, "why is it even there? What did I do to become a demon and yet not a demon. What am I exactly? A 'fake' demon?!" he started out so calmly and was nearly yelling. "Do the others look like me? What about my family? Do they even care?"
Deva knew he was on the verge of tears, she could hear it in his voice and the grimace that covered his face. The small sapphire guardian that lay in wait leaned down and glowed a bit in his direction. She knew it was talking to him, but what of... she didn't know. She acted on impulse and leaned over to give him a chaste hug. He didn't complain or even struggle. "I'm sorry Fjalar... we've spent so long in this forest. We need to get away and meet the others, please allow us to go. I don't want to force you." She stroked his hair. "At least meet your father... he would love to see how you've grown."
Fjalar's teeth were gritted, a single tear rolled down from his eye. He hated it. He nodded though, wanting to get away from Deva. "I have to go and do something... please don't follow." Rising off of the ground he headed off to a reflecting puddle (it was a normal puddle of water but it seemed to reflect his appearance best) he had found in the forest. He saw the tear trail and scratched at his face, there would be no tear trail any longer... only a mark of red, his prefered method of "crying". He clawed at his left eye as well, a tiny blood puddle formed on the ground but he took no notice. There'd be no tears, he wouldn't have it. Looking at his guardian he growled at it. It always spoke sweet words at him, maybe that's why he was such a happy kid but as he finally "matured" he was unable to see the sweetness, and found it more of a sarchasm then anything. "So we'll see father soon... the others. Will I be able to take it? I wonder..."
