I don't know about you guys, but as soon as the CSS for extended profiles came about, one of my first thoughts was, "How long until someone sets up a profile shop?" Then tek-tek came out with user-submitted themes, and this was good also.
My question for discussion is this: would you sell profile layouts for people who can't figure CSS out? Would you submit them for free? Would you make them for others at all?

Someone offered 10k to the person that could code their profile with the graphics they already made.
I took them up on their offer. >_>;

I would definitely sell a few profiles...once I actually get the time to do so (I've figured I should do a Sailor Mercury theme to go with the blue...). I would probably also put up a few free ones, but I don't see what's wrong with a little monetary compensation. cool

But I've also made 2 free ones for the tektek site. And I'm not going to go and charge someone if they just ask for a simple code- That's just, like, wrong. xp

Uennie offered me a fairly large amount of gold to make one for her bf, which I accepted, but I feel kinda bad now since it seems a lot more than what other people are charging sweatdrop I'll just do an extra good job on it and donate most of it to her quest or something.
I'm thinking of having an avvie art + layout auction... but have to get other things out of the way first. I want to make a few freebie ones later too whee

Once I'm finished version one of my profile,
I am making a couple for some close friends.
After that, if someone asks me and the price is right,
I'll do a custom layout from top to bottom for them.

How I see it, I might make a few easy ones (Or lets say.. basic) ones for free.. to those who might want them. But for more advanced nicer graphic type profiles I might have people pay me. Though only because I helped someone with theres and there was alot of time consumption which I dont really have on my part now 'a days.. with the fact that I have to start making a site for a lady ~_~;
As for prices? Im not sure.. 10k seems like alot and I saw someone selling for 7k and.. theres was.. well it was alright I suppose. What do you guys think prices should go as if you did sell?

Like I used to do with my banner shop: Pay whatever you feel like it's worth.
I don't really like to paste a price to my works, so I let others decide so they can feel for themselves what they think the work is worth to them. I usually got a lot more than I thought I would.
