The purple-haired ball of energy ran to the familiar house, her orange haired gaurdians following behind her. She all but ran into the door, falling back on her bum in a giggling heap.

Darcy sighed at her "daughter"'s antics, reaching over her to knock on the door as Aaron helped Jae up. They had to be crazy; Darcy was wearing a green sweater and Aaron was in long sleeves. Jaella was the only one properly dressed for this kind of heat.

Aaron smiled. "Hey Sammi." He said, ruffling the toddler's hair. "How are you?" He would have scooped the little darling up, but Jaella had beaten him to it.

"That's right, Sammi!" Jaella said, scooping the girl up into a hug. "You're growing like a weed, aren't ya? You'll be my size in no time, Sammi!" She balanced the toddler on her hip, happy to the girl.

Darcy smiled, scooping Reiya up. "Hello there, leibling." she cooed, her tone soft. "How are you? My, haven't you grown...."

Jaella smiled, hugging Sammi. "I missed you too, Sammi." she said, giggling. "I'm not running errands this time, so we can play lots and lots."

Aaron chuckled, nodding and pulling a bag of candy out of his pocket. "As promised." he said, smiling and, without thinking to ask if it was okay, handed the toddler the entire bag. Oh lord.

Darcy smiled, hugging the little one. "As I did you, Reiya." she said, pulling an almost identical bag of candy from her pouch to offer the child. "Here; a gift, for you." Hidden among the candy was a necklace; she was sure it'd come in handy for the child later in life.

Jaella was the one who answered. "We heard the twins grew and came to visit!" she said, smiling brightly before going over to hug Thali. "We were bringing popsicles...but they melted half-way here." She looked sad over that.

Jaella smiled, nodding. "Of course we can play horsie." she said, giggling. She looked to Thali, nodding. "Yeah...hey, if you have an ice cube tray and some toothpicks, we can make our own!" she suggested, grinning.

Aaron smiled, hugging Sammi. "You're welcome." He then blinked. "I...I don't have one, Sammi." he said, silently cursing his sister. "But, I can bring you one the next time I see you. Would that be okay?"

Darcy smiled, putting the necklace on the little girl. "You're welcome." she said, smiling. "It's a good luck charm, so don't take it off, okay?"

Jaella smiled. "Wanna come help me make them?" she asked, almost bouncing in place. Seriously, you'd think she was five with how she acted sometimes. She grinned from ear to ear. "Please?"

Aaron didn't seem to mind being cast off like that. He simply took a seat, sighing.

"Yep. Good luck." Darcy confirmed before hugging Sammi. "Sorry, leibling, I only brought one with me. Perhaps next time we can bring you a trinket." she offered, ruffling the child's hair.

Jaella literally gave a squeal of delight before dashing off to the kitchen. Apparently someone was excited about homemade popsicles.

Aaron smiled, lifting Reiya up. "Sure." he said, chuckling. "What do you want to play, Reiya?" He had absolutely no idea what Reiya was doing, nor did he care to know.

Darcy shrugged. "Because I only brought one." she said, giving that as a sole explaination. "I will bring you one next time." She said if with a sense of authority, as if to say "That's the end of the conversation." That tactic worked with Aaron and Jaella....but that didn't mean it'd work on Sammi.

Jaella smiled. "We pour the juice in the boxy-thingies here and stick the toothpicks in." she said, pouring the juice in the tray. She tried to stick a toothpick into one of the liquid cubes, frowning when it wouldn't stay. Someone had forgotten a step: you gotta put plastic wrap over the top so the toothpick would stay. Whoops.

Aaron smiled, and was about to answer when Sammi started chanting "mine". "Sammi, calm down." He said, smiling lightly and patting her head. "No need to get upset."

Darcy giggled, watching as an amused grin spread across her face.
