Alice found herself in the park picking the little clover flowers and tying them into a necklace thinking about what she had seen with the girl Demi. It was one night, one night and she found herself unable to be rid herself of the memories. How many more nights like that had she had previous and no feeling or thoughts afterward? How many more nights would she have to have with other cats just to forget the image of the boys face as he looked at her, and then how he was with the female. For once in the Somali’s life she was unsure of herself. Just as she always did she said C'est la vie to the situation, it was life, and he had found someone else.

So was it she did to make herself sure again? She adopted a trainee in her arts of seduction with dance. The girl was tiny, seemingly muscular, and genuinely interested. So Alice had told her to meet in the park when the sun was the highest in the sky. The small bobtail reminded Alice of herself when she was younger, before she was adopted by an older woman and exposed to jazz and human liquor. If she could she would keep Demi away from liquor, but dance and jazz… that was the whole point of the meeting.

Demi panted softly as she hurried into the park and looked around frantically. She had gotten sidetracked by an interesting-looking road and had gotten lost trying to find her way back. The way her new mentor reacted to the male the other day was still fresh in the young girl's mind, and she desperately wanted to question her on it. Somehow, Demi felt it might be a sensitive subject to push, though.

She smiled brightly when she spotted the fiery-orange female sitting on her own doing... something, and bounded over to her swiftly. "Sexy-sensei! Sorry I'm late!" She called loudly as she made her way over, "I erm... I tend to lose track of time, sometimes..." Standing over the other, Demi tilted her head at the floral necklace in the older cat's hands.

"...That's pretty, you seem to be talented with all sorts of stuff.." She mewed softly, the questions tingling at the tip of her tongue. "Uhm.. Sensei..? About yesterday...?" She couldn't figure out how or what exactly she wanted to ask. It felt strange the way they parted ways with the two cats yesterday, and it made Demi's fur bristle slightly.

Alice tilted her head as she heard the younger female bound up to her, she could not help but smile, the young one being so eager.
“It’s ok, the party doesn’t start till we both get there… but please… call me Alice.”At the girls remark the Somali stood and placed it on the girls head, she reminded her of a princess of sorts, so it was befitting she should have a crown to as well. “Go ahead and ask your questions, the sooner you do the sooner we can dance, I know how difficult it is to deny knowledge to the youth."

Almost on queue the violinist began to pluck a melody out of the strings tucked before his chin. The birds chirped in tune and the dripping of a fountain accompanied the elaborate band of music. The world was full of it, one only had to search.
The violin brought up a memory of a young stray she had met, he was fun, but he seemed to be in the situation she was in now. Funny how when you met someone their story melds into your own somewhere in life… how long you knew the person, none of those quizzical things mattered, for you would remember them when you least expected it. For the mind never forgets.

And all that useless rambling in her mind only dragged her to the Somali male. Damn it all…

Demi touched her new crown lightly before giving her ears a flick and gazing up at Alice again. "Well, Sexy-sensei-- Erm... Alice I mean," She mewed slowly, scratching at the side of her face with one claw, "are you and that Dhiren guy having a fight now? I mean, the other day you two went off together, so I thought that maybe you'd... be happy to find him as a partner yesterday..." Okay, so that wasn't really all question. Demi wasn't sure if she would understand this strange situation between the two older cats, but she was concerned; Alice didn't seem very happy at the way they parted the other day either, after all.

Her ears twitched when the sound of the violin's melody drifted to them on the air, and she could also hear the birds and the water, although to her they didn't seem like they were quite part of the band. Still, the violin's music was pretty and she smiled a little to herself. It needed accompaniment. "If you don't feel like talking about it, that's alright too, Alice!" She mewed again after a moment of thought, "You did call me here to teach me this sexy dancing thing."

Alice stretched while the kitten spoke, she thought of her next words carefully before she even dared to respond.
“He was my partner one night, but like I told you not to do, I seemed to be… hum… well, I seemed to be tormenting myself rather than him. He more than likely thinks I hate him, but in all actuality I am trying to avoid him for the opposite reason.” Alice looked anywhere than the face of the kit in front of her, until she saw a random group of toms walking by.
“And now begins your lesson. Watch me, and follow when you believe you have got it under your wing. Remember, confidence.”

Then the fiery female sauntered over to the males and tugged one of them by the hand. He looked her up and down for a moment and then went with her, leaving his other friends behind. Alice was clever in a way that she made it easy for Demi, she went after their leader, so that the others would be keen on following suit. She danced with him, but for her it was minimal, she was pulling back from so many things because some since of modesty had appeared when she spoke of her situation with Dhiren. Out of the corner of her eye she watched Demi, hoping that the girl was not too overwhelmed. The weird thing was, she skipped over the beat of the Violin and moved her body a repetitive flow tuned with the fountain. She pulled out the more natural sounds and interwove them into her dance, interpreting as she moved.

The Somali loved Jazz for the simple fact that it was exiting, never the same thing. Later she would teach Demi of the darker arts, the slower music… but at the moment the key objective was to have fun and relish the fact that they were females, they were young, and they were beautiful.

Demi listened to the Somali as she spoke, keenly aware of the uncharacteristic way that the older female avoided looking directly at her. As young and inexperienced in the ways of the world as she was, the small bobtail could still feel that there was an untold part of the story, something hanging at the back of Alice's throat that couldn't come out. If she truly didn't hate Dhiren, then what was keeping her from letting him know? It was confusing for the kit, and it made her head hurt a little trying to figure out the ways of this older woman. Deciding to let the issue drop for now, she perked up and watched as Alice approached a group of men and pulled one from their ranks, initiating a dance with him that he seemed to follow without objection. As the violin harmonized with the natural sounds and rhythm around it, Demi's deep golden eyes followed the curves of the two cats' bodies and the way they swayed and dipped together. It looked like fun. She wanted to give it a shot, but she hadn't been taught how yet, even though her mentor told her to just jump in when she was ready.

Left to their own devices and uncertain of what direction to take without their 'leader's' guidance, the other toms were beginning to feel the rhythm that had caught the swaying cats' attention. They also noticed Demi on her own. Likewise, the young cat had glanced over to them curiously. Was she supposed to simply pick one of them and follow suit? Well, it was worth a shot.

With a confident, mischievous grin, the Bobtail turned to the interested males and placed a hand on her hip. "Are you guys gonna stand there gawking all day, or does one of you plan on joining this little party?" She mewed with a saucy tone. "I can't very well join this duo on my own, now can I?" With a quiet giggle, she winked at them, just as Alice had taught her.

She had their attention, but they seemed a little uncertain about such a young girl. Demi sighed to herself and rolled her eyes a little before locking them on what appeared to be the youngest member. Her tail-less little hips giving a cheeky sway, she wasted no time in closing the distance between them and grabbing one of his hands in both of her own. "Come on! Dance with me!" She giggled, tugging playfully and grinning up at him. Finally, he caved and let the younger girl lead him towards where his leader and the older somali were.

Demi took a moment to feel the music around her and observe her mentor a little before letting herself get into it. Swaying in time with the violin, Demi ran a hand along the tom's cheek with another giggle, willing him to let go as well.

For a few brief moments Alice believed she had done something that would horribly overwhelm the younger cat. She slowed her dance down a few paces to watch Demi make her moves. She winced inwardly at the childlike “common dance with me” but found she would save her critiques until afterword.

The female watched her own dance, making sure that nothing would catch her off guard as her attention was diverted. It was then that the male before her leaned in, with his hand behind her head. She winced and pulled back, dancing over to the other males that seemed to be interested in the dancing period. For some reason she didn’t want to be distracted by another male, but she had to continue, to show her student how it was done correctly. The Somali picked a male that was shifting and blushing, for he seemed to never get attention. She purred quietly as she ran a hand over his chest ignoring their really pissed off leader whom she had outsmarted.

Alice dipped in and out of her dance, closing her eyes and enjoying it. She was pretty sure that the male she had chosen the second time was too nervous to do much more than make sure he didn’t fall on his rear. The weird thing was, she did not see the male before her as she danced with him, she pictured the other Somali, her best dance partner yet. And it was only when he stomped on her foot that she realized how out of character she was being, and pulled back taking her own bow, watching Demi finish her own.

Demi hadn't noticed the private dismay that her new mentor was going through as she had finally gotten the tom to let go of himself and enjoy the activity. Light on her paws, the bobtail swayed and dipped into his arms before bouncing out and twirling away again. Doing her best to heed Alice's advice, she tried to keep herself from remaining in his arms for too long. He was eager to partake in the game and they danced about the clearing together. Demi wondered if maybe she wasn't being a little too flighty in her movements, for her partner seemed to be growing a little impatient with the chasing.

As she turned away from him to enter into another spin, her wrist was seized and she was suddenly tugged back. Flipping around again, the small bobtail hit his chest with a quiet 'oomph.' Both arms circled her waist, one venturing lower, and held her against him with an unexpected strength as he decided to take the dance to a different pitch. Demi growled and glared up at him, "Hey, hold on a sec!" She tried to push away from him again, but the tom before her was done with chasing.

Demi did her best to look around him, trying to see where Alice had gone. "Let go of me, right now! This is not fun anymore!" She yowled, pinning her ears back unhappily as she pushed at the male who was suddenly all over her. Being as close as he was, she couldn't maneuver her leg to get in a good groin shot, so her only option was the Somali, wherever she had gone. Demi felt like she was suffocating suddenly and she dug her claws into the male's chest.

Alice pushed away from the male she was dancing with growling fiercely at the one who was attacking her apprentice. She had heard the struggles and come running, only then remembering how male cats usually prefer to pick on the younger females. The Somali flashed her nails and in one swift movement she had stepped backward and grabbed the groin of the leader, nails digging in making him double over.
‘You will release the girl, or your friend here, will no longer be male.” She was entirely serious, and obviously pissed off. Which it was that made the dull minded males back off, it was hard to say.

“Don’t you ever, EVER ******** with us again or I swear it won’t just be him that gets these nails in the groin. I will make you wish you were never male. Learn from this, because if you ever harm another female then know I may be watching.” Through her speech she had walked forward, dragging the older male along with her, and only did she release him when she had gotten to where Demi was standing and pulled the girl by the hand, walking slowly backward into the trees.

When they reached the cover she tugged Demi’s hand and brought the smaller girl into her chest, with a tight hug.
“Im so sorry that happened… I’m so sorry.” She mumbled while petting the girls hair and holding her close. The Somali knew what it was like to be attacked in such a manner, but she never spoke of it. Parts of her history she had a right to keep hidden.

Suddenly, the Somali's voice was splitting the air, and Demi's ears flicked in relief. She felt the tom stiffen momentarily and then felt his grip slacken again. Not too long after that, she was being pulled away from him as Alice led her off into the foliage.

She didn't catch up with what was going on until the older female was embracing her firmly and apologizing. "I-it's alright..." Demi murmured, muffled by the other's chest, "I wasn't scared you know." With both hands on Alice's stomach, the smaller bobtail gently pushed her so that she could look her in the face. "You were there with me after all, I knew we'd be alright!" Her ears fell back a little with the surge of adrenaline that was pumping through her veins from the encounter, and she laughed lightly, "I wish you would have given me a chance to rearrange his face a little though... or nick an ear at least..."

Not realizing that the situation they had just left was far more serious and dangerous than she was responding to, Demi lifted her ears suddenly and looked up at the Somali female with serious interest. "How did I do?" She mewed, "On my first try, that is... How'd I do?"

Alice shook her head lightly to clear it, releasing the other female reluctantly. “You did wonderfully… just… be careful next time; you never want to get into a weaker position.” Her voice was wispy and light, still lingering with traces of what had just happened, and what had happened in the past. The female ran a hand though her hair and then nervously tapped a finger on her chin.

“We will try younger prey next… less strong willed.” What she didn’t say was less experienced, but that was reserved for one day when the younger girl would understand fully what had happened.

Alice closed her eyes, trying to get the image of Demi struggling out of her mind with a powerful feeling of over protectiveness… a mother daughter feeling that she had never had before. The female glared back at where the males were, and sighed audibly thinking of what the girl had said pervious, when smothered by Alice’s own fear that she had set the girl up for harm.
“You will get to harm many males I guarantee you, but remember everything that comes naturally has a price. Even something as simple as being beautiful, men fear beauty, for with beauty lingers sexiness and then with that combination you can have complete control over the male.”
She allowed herself to catch her breath while leaning against a tree, and waiting for the questions she was sure that would come. Somewhere deep inside was the feeling she got every so often of her first love, the cello, and settling down and giving up the joy, and dangers of this world of sin.

Demi grinned up at the Somali; she didn't really understand what was so scary about what just happened, but she got the feeling that she worried her new sensei. "I'll do my best from now own, okay Alice?" She purred reassuringly, winking at the older female, "And I still want you to teach me more about dancing!"

Padding after the Somali as she went to lean on the tree, the young Bobtail stood next to her happily. Even though she wanted to protect herself, and could have if it weren't for her body being so tightly confined, it felt good to have someone else look after you once in a while. "So sexy is more like a super power then, huh...? It must be pretty powerful if it can scare big toms!" Demi knew she was being silly now, but she was tired of seeing such a somber look on the pretty, fiery-colored cat. Where did that confident, sparkling personality go? "It's really exciting! I can't wait to learn more about this 'sexy' thing! Oh! But... All that dancing kinda made me hungry..." Golden eyes glimmering with gratitude and adoration as she glanced up at her sensei again, Demi tipped her head slightly, "What about you? Are you ready to get some lunch, Alice?"

Alice tilted her head to the side, listening to the female. She was hungry. The girl was hungry after all that. She sighed and shook her head, ah how blissful youth could be. The female nodded and put on her famed smile, even if it was false. She would teach the girl dance, she promised, though she would not make a careless mistake as she had today. Even if she had to be the girls dance partner herself. The Somali examined her nails, disappointed to see one was chipped. She would have to fix that one day.

“Let us find some food, the university students are easy enough to swindle; I’m sure we could find something there.” She shrugged her shoulders lightly and started walking off in that direction. Her heart was still beating off beat, not quite right. She brushed away the thoughts of her bad luck and batted it away furiously. It was all far too much to undertake. First her losing her heart, then getting someone in her charge to nearly be taken away out of foolishness… good riddance to the damn thing, she would prefer to be heartless at this point in time.
PostPosted: Sun Jul 26, 2009 8:24 pm

Demi perked her ears up, humans were good resources for food! "A university, huh? I've never been to one of those before!" she mewed excitedly, then made a face as she thought of something, "I'm cool with it, as long as they don't try to give us kibble!" Bounding after her teacher, the bobtail purred happily. "You have to show me some more moves, I felt kind of repetitive back there, you know!" She chattered on, then got an idea and grinned at Alice with a mischievous glint in her eyes, "You should show me some of the moves you used with that Somali guy!"

Alice hid her face from the girl hardly believing her ears. She turned ashen white as she continued walking; just wishing the statement had never been voiced. “I can’t do that to you or myself dear… its far too dangerous, and you need to learn the basics first. Harden yourself before you dapple in things such as that.” The Somali stared icily ahead and ducked under the university gates.

“Now I will have none of that nonsense. Watch this.” She walked over to a nearby female and mewed cutely, rubbing against the girls legs, begging for food. The worst the university kids would do is boot her away, but most knew the female by now, most accepted her accompaniment and fed her lively. Seeing she brought a smile to the girls face as she put a hand down with some sushi saying pathetically “here kitty kitty”
