I started a guild quite a long time ago, but because of it's inactivity I decided to change everything which includes the subject. The subject has changed from wolves to art.
It's because I like making and viewing art and I wanted to unite artists so shops would become easier to run and art would be easier to find.

Now here's the problem:

I've got 7 subforums, I'm trying to run a contest, I made art for the guild and I have been advertising on my own, which has attracted some users to my guild, but more than half of my crew isnt as active as I thought they would be (I'm telling them though) and most of the members seem not to bother to post anything at all.
(most of the activity is caused by me and another crew member)

Is there a way to get more publicity for active members or to edit my guild to gain activity next to the things I already tried?

Please tell me anything you know and please don't mind my english mrgreen

although there is still one thing: I might attract more members, but if they don't bother to post either it's no use...
I've read the information forum in this guild and I know the tips, but idk exactly HOW to change the content in order to make it more attractive for members to post confused

One of the hardest things about wanting to make a guild succeed seems to be that people just forget to hang out in them. Since I inherited a guild that was already pretty active, I've never really had a problem with getting members to post... First, I think getting lots of members (regardless if they post or not). Then, plan some sort of large contest. Finally, make sure to send out a 'Guild Announcement' announcing the contest! You should probably send another one about a week before entries are cut off. Once people are in the habit of going there, your guild should be more active.
