As you walk into The Lion and Fox cafe you notice a sign by the door:
Pork races Hosted in the backroom.
Not knowing what it is you continue to your table and order your meal.
After you eat a magnificent meal that Kerobian cooked you ask the waiter Lyssan what that sign is about. She replies calmly that it is the Pork Races and it is being hosted by Volgon the Necromancer. Curious you probe for more information and all Lyssan can say is that you have to see it to believe it. Having seen Kerobian and Lyssan go at it multiple times you think that nothing could surprise you. As you walk through the door it suddenly becomes colder than a meat locker. And seeing Volgon sitting near a 3 foot deep hole in the ground you see why it is so cold. There is various meat products racing around a course.
Volgon looks at you and says "Welcome to my Pork Races, where people watch pig's tongue race against bull tail. Is there anything you would like to know?"

Rules
1. General
1.1 The basic guidelines are easy to follow I will take "bets" they will basically be entries.
1.2 Every bet will give you one number (your choice) and that is your Bet.
1.3 After a few days I will Roll 1 D100 whichever number is closest will win.
1.4 EVERYBODY can enter the race.
2. Bets
2.1 Bets will be 100 gold a piece.
2.2 Once you have selected your numbers I will post them in the first post.
2.3 If I do not receive the payment I will not count your numbers. You have until I decide to roll for the winner to pay.(It is a preset date)
2.4 When you pick a number please state what meat product you are betting on.
2.5 You can start the trade for the bets but I will finalize them on the Friday so you can change anything without the entire hassle of starting a new trade
2.6 There is a max. of 10 bets per race
3.Winnings
3.1 The winner will receive 90% of the gold collected from the bets
3.2 The other 10% will go to the guild mule to fund other projects and events.
3.3 The pot will be at least 2000 gold I will continue this for as long as I can
3.4 A 500 gold bonus will be added after The Guild Mule gets the 10% if the number I roll hits your number exactly
3.5 In the case of a tie the Pot will be split evenly with the winners
4. Schedule
4.1 I will usually start a new race every week on a Monday.
4.2 Mon.-Thurs. I will accept bets(I will accept bets on Friday but I would rather not)
4.3 Sat. I will roll for the winner
4.4 Sun. I will start announcing it (it will go on for however long you guys want it to go on)
*Note this is subject to change in every race*
5. Adding fluff
5.1 I will announce the race when I roll for the winner.
5.2 Feel free to add to the race as long as the winner wins and so on and so forth.
5.3 If I see that a lot of people (5) are betting then I will start announcing it

Hmm hey Ly the forums are open to public right?
If so I might just advertise it outside of the guild.
And sigh looks like I might have to enter myself although mostly just to get the prize money up a bit. And If I do win I'm just gonna add it to the next pot.

Check the rules on advertising first, kiddo. I think that iffin ye post a lot with it in yer siggie you might attract some attention... never tried this before so I just don't know. sweatdrop
Anyway, Yuki is gone until next week. Tell ye what... I'll send another thousand to sweeten the pot but this time divide it between her and I... ok? Bacon and pork chops, ok?
(Maybe we can get her to do a siggie graphic that represents the races for ye to use.)

Yeah I know about checking the rules.
And I already have it in my Sig although it doesn't look that good I'll Format it a bit differently I guess.
Alright well Yuki still won so the gold will still be there when she gets back. Bacon and Pork chops it is.
(That would be pretty cool I'll have to check into it)
