"Ladies and Gentlemen, Introducing first from Liverpool England, weighing in at 245 lbs. He is the current ICW Openweight Champion... Aaaaaart Walker!!!"
The fans erupted as the introduction drums to Bullet for my Valentine's "Scream Aim Fire" played on the PA system. After the drums, the music stopped. Once again, the thunderous roar of Art's 1960's vintage Fender Precision Bass could be heard throughout the arena. Art came dancing out onto the stage, his Openweight Title belt around his neck, and his Bass down below his waist. His fingers moved quickly all up and down the neck, his speed metal solo ringing in the air.
Art made his way all the way down to the ring with his bass before he stopped playing, and his entrance music kicked in. He took his belt and held it in his arms for the last time. Even if he won the match, he would be a new champion. And even if he lost, he'd be in ICW history forever as the last man to ever hold that title. He sighed and kissed the belt that had skyrocketed his career to this match, the biggest one of his life. He then handed the belt over to the ref.
Suddenly, a huge grin stretched across Art Walker's face, and he took his bass in hand once more. Instead of playing once more, he grabbed it by the neck and slammed it into the ring post, paint chips and wood splinters flying in all directions! The crowd went nuts as Art proceeded to have an old Kurt Cobain style beat down of his most prized possession! After a couple moments of destruction, Art tossed the remainder of the neck and headstock of his instrument into the crowd. He now entered the ring, and his music cut. He waited for his opponents, and the biggest match he'd even been in.

Announcer: "Introducing next, he comes from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 226 pounds and standing in at six feet. He is the reigning ICW Television Champion. He is The Mercenary, Xavier Cross!"
His World by Zebrahead plays on the speakers and a roar of cheers came from the audience. Xavier Cross steps out onto the stage wearing the ICW TV championship belt. He executes one of his signature Mercenary taunts on top of the stage. He then makes his way down the ring interacting with the crowd along the way. He slides into the ring, stands up and walks over to a turnbuckle. He climbs up and looks out to the sea of audience and executes another signature Mercenary taunt. Xavier takes off his jacket and jumps down from the turnbuckle. He drops his jacket outside then walks over to the ref. He takes off the TV title and hands it to the ref to take care of it.

Xavier paces himself in the ring, checking his wrists, and doing a few quick stretches as he waits for the match to start.

(( Seems fair. 4 days is an auto-win, so I guess we'll take an auto-no-show for our International Champ. ))
Art paced back and forth, cracking his knuckles. All eyes were on the ring, Art and Xavier. The winner would be the new ICW Elite Champion.
Awesome.
Ding ding ding!
Art came in slowly, taking the time to examine his opponent. Xavier had a slight height advantage over Art, but Art also had a slight weight advantage over Xavier. With this in mind, Art did not wish to take this match to the mat just yet. He went in for a lockup, and unless Xavier would have something else in mind, attempt and Irish Whip his opponent into the ropes.

Xavier went in for the lock up, trying to take the advantage early but fails to prevail as he is whipped across the ring. Upon his return from the ropes Xavier attempts to knock Art down with a forearm smash.

Art waited for Xavier to come back after the whip. Reacting quickly to the forearm smash, he would attempt to use his own power grab ahold of Xavier's arm and turn him into a hip toss.

Art waited for Xavier to rise to his feet. Once he did Art would turn and bounce of the ropes, coming back in hopes of hitting his opponent with a clothesline.

Xavier ducks under the clothesline and goes to hook Art's arm. He'll then try to hook his other arm and go for a backslide pin attempt.

Art was caught in the backslide pin.

Art kicked out very early. He wasn't going to lose this match on the first page!

Xavier successfully throws Art off guard with the early pin attempt but he tries to keep the advantage by rising up to his feet and attempting a calf kick on Art.

The kick connected! Art wiggled around in pain on the mat for a second before quickly trying to get back up, his leg not wanting to comply.

Art got to his feet, only to be met with some kicks. He made an instinctive grab for Xavier's leg, and if that was successful he'd try to take his opponent down to the mat, the place Art was most comfortable.
